It’s not a surprise to anyone that Evan Rachel Wood is a Dita von Teese wannabe. A pretty obvious one, in fact.
While Dita’s the initiator of the white skin, red lipstick, old glamour and coal-black hair look, Rachel might have some assets on her side, too. And this is precisely why we need to settle it in a battle:

I think Evan is prettier and I also prefer her outift.
I don’t really get the appeal of that look – I mean it’s quite cool to do once in a while but all the time like Dita Von Teese.. I don’t see the appeal myself.
I don’t know who Evan is btw? I know Dita is famous for being Marilyn Manson’s ex and being a burlesque dancer.
Oh and is Dita naturally that white? Or has she covered herself in white powder/makeup?
Anyways.. both have their own appeal but I personally think Evan is hotter xX

Dita. She’s older and more grown into her hotness. And she just nailed the look, where as the other gal looks like she’s wearing a costume.
Honestly I don’t really get Dita’s appeal. Not a fan of her look I guess, & I don’t understand how going around looking that WHITE can be seen as attractive. I have nothing against just not tanning, but that’s obviously not her natural skin color. I don’t know, it’s just like someone who uses too much self-tanner and is orange, not attractive. I like real skin colors, personally.
Anyway. I’d actually pick neither, but if I had to choose, Evan.

I actually like Dita’s ivory skin…especially when so many people are tanning the heck out of their skin. Be proud of what you have. I love Dita’s style. Work it Dita.

Why do people not believe that skin can be that pale? First you have to be white (obviously!) quite possibly with celtic genes (it’s naturally as pale as you can get), and thirdly not go out in the sun or cover your skin in fake orange tan. Simple.
I am pale like this, if I go out and sunbathe, I will burn – so I don’t! I also happen to like the goth look and have black hair (nothing to do with Dita, yawn). This emphasizes my pale skin and that’s the way I like it – completely natural. Evan Rachel wood is sad. She needs to grow up and be herself, not what her boyfriend wants her to be.
I know girls far paler than her it’s certainly possible. ‘ve met her and her skin is not nearly as pale as it looks in photographs.

evan rachel wood is way more naturally pretty. and honestly, i just think that shes young and impressionable. she was just trying to look like that goth girl that she knows manson is into. besides dita, manson was also with rose mcgowan who is also a raven haired chick. thats what hes into for the most part and THAT is what evan was copying! i dont think she was personally copying dita, just that goth type style. and why does everybody think dita is so gorgoeus and original? she is nothing but a bettie page wannabe herself!
Sweetheart, perhaps you should research Bettie Page. She was tanned, had a short straight across fringe and wore very little make up. Their style is NOTHING a like. Dita idolised Bettie not because of her style but because she was a pin up.
I grew up watching the old classics where the real beauties like Gretta Garbo and Mae West were the norm. Dita looks like she is a reincarnation of that classic beauty. She is flawless and a true beauty. Marilyn really screwed the pooch when he left Dita…lol oh wait yeah he really is now too!!!
SHUT UP, ALL OF YOU. I’ve met Dita and she’s not so pale is real life- it’s the flash of the camera that does it, however she is very pale skin and it IS natural, thank you. All she uses is sunscreen and doesn’t even avoid the sun. Dita is pure 1940′s glamour- a thing many of you don’t understand, apparently. She is gorgeous and original. Evan is trying far too hard. She looked better blonde.
