Flower-power Miley Cyrus (18), white beauty Selena Gomez (18), sparkly Victoria Justice (18) and gothic-lover Taylor Momsen (17) all made an appearance at Nickelodeon’s 24th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards Held at The Galen Center in Los Angeles, California this weekend.

clearly people know she’s pretty from gossip girl, so she’s obviously trying to separate herself from all the other bubblegum actresses who are a dime a dozen. She wants people to notice her band (which is actually quite good) instead of her attractiveness
Yeah, right. If she wanted people to notice her band she wouldn’t feel the need to dress up a certain way. I understand having your own style and wanting to be unique, but this looks more like a costume than an actual outfit – and she ALWAYS seems to be dressed like this. To me, personally, she looks like she is trying WAY to hard to fit an image.
I kind of agree it’s too much, but read what you just said. It looks more like a costume. and who doesn’t these days? Rhianna, Lady Gaga, and Nicky Minaj to name a few. Everyone only makes a big deal about it because of her age. Don’t label it rebellion or trying to be different than the rest of them. Maybe it is just who she is.
Isn’t that we try to teach kids to do anyway? Be themselves. And if she is playing a part she’s doing no different than the rest of the pop singers of today.
Love Miley’s dress and necklace, her hair and makeup look great too. Selena’s outfit is perfect, I especially love the shoes. Victoria justice is gorgeous, I could take the dress or leave it though. Taylor is trying to be the next Courtney Love but she just seems like a poser.

They all look quite nice, they’re so young i can’t really find it in me to admire any of them, as far as looks go anyways. I went through a stage looking like Taylor does here, so i’m not gonna hate on her, i don’t regret my stage nor did i at any point fee like i was doing it to be rebellious. Time shows if she grows into a real rocker or a goth or whathaveyou.
Eugh Taylor stop acting like a 14 year old and grow up. She does this stuff to shock (interviews i read with her make me want to cringe!). She’s going to look back in a couple years and be like ‘omg i can’t believe i acted that way’. I have nothing against the way she dresses, its the fact she does it for shock value. Eugh, so immature!

i went through some wierd sartorial phases when i was younger and a lot of my friends were goths. not all kids are into cute little shorts and glossy bobs, what is so wrong with a little diversity? rebellion and experimentation and kids kinda go together.
I find Miley cyrus very homely D: not saying she isn’t a good performer, I just don’t find her look appealing impo.

Victoria is the prettiest and, I think, best dressed of all.
Taylor’s pants are a relief, and look good with the jacket and the top, but period. The shoes, stockings, make-up and hair are a disaster. She used to look really good more natural, though.
Miley doesn’t appeal much to me, not sure why. Selena, however, though not strikingly beautiful, looks very cute and proper at all times.

I think they all look good except Taylor. I really don’t like her and think she just acts like a complete idiot and her attitude comes off as so ‘look at me look at me’. Although i am glad she’s wearing pants for once.

victoria looks ok. the dress maybe too short and the shoes are terrible as well as the bag but she looks ok considering the ocassion. i cannot help thinking she is a younger version of Elena Gilbert from the vampire diaries…

Me too! I think Miley looks the best – the cut of her dress is so flattering. Closely followed by Victoria who looks stunning as well – the detail on her dress is amazing.
Selena looks great, so fresh and youthful-looking. She never tries to appear more grown-up than she is, and that’s quite refreshing. Miley looks good in that dress, although I’m generally not a fan of hers. And Victoria will always look good because she’s so pretty and has a great body, even though I don’t really like the way she dresses. I think Taylor should stick with the rocker look because she really fits it, but she doesn’t need to go this far. A short black dress with a ton of jewelry would have looked better.

I felt bad thinking it at first but honestly…. Taylor looks like she got lost on her way to 7/11 to buy cigarettes and somehow wound up on the red carpet… We get it, she’s going through a phase. I relate. When I was 17 I had a very scene mullet that was black blond and pink. I was just showing those pictures to a friend and we laughed a lot at my expense haha. I grew out of it, so I trust she will too. The other girls look lovely :]

I can’t stomach Miley Cyrus or Taylor Momsen. Their “bad girl” image is so wannabe rebellious misunderstood artist that it drives me insane. It’s too fake for me. That said, Miley’s dress is cute, although I don’t find Miley as facially attractive as Victoria and Selena. They both always look classy. The problem for me is they all seem so similar and teenybopper-esque…I suppose I’m just not into that type of persona, whether it be for public image or not.

If Taylor Momsen didn’t have so much eye-liner around her eyes, she would look much better. She looks very pretty when she doesn’t wear so much make-up. Out of all those girls, Taylor has the prettiest face (if she cut down on the eye make-up). Victoria would be the 2nd prettiest. Selena would be 3rd and Miley 4th. Although I like Miley’s outfit there.
