Taylor Momsen was spotted at the Whitney Museum Gala in New York City yesterday night, where she wore a long nude dress.
She always wears a lot of eye make-up, including on the show (when it’s usually paired with dark lipstick, too) – are you a fan?
And how about the long dress + fishnets combo?

Take away the awful hair extensions, the terrible makeup and the slutty fishnets, and she would look lovely.
agreed! she always ruin a good dress with nasty makeup, and stupid facial expression. i mean what’s up with her grumpy-i-was-forced-out-of-bed-look?? she’s a teenager for god’s sake, would it kill her to smile and look her age? i’m the same age as her, 16 but she looks like she’s in her mid 20′s(and not in a good way).

my sister met her and the rest of the GG cast when she was visiting New York. Funny thing is, the rest of the cast were extrememly friendly, openminded and down to earth. Taylor on the other hand acted like a stuck up cow and wouldnt talk to anyone.
Maybe she just had a bad day. I dunno. But the message she is sending out to young girls out there isnt pretty. She has the ability and the looks to look classy and beautiful and she completly ruins this by always wearing fishnets and make up that makes her look dirty.
She looks like a prostitute with those skimpy outfits. not a good look for anyone at any age.

I actually kinda like the fishnets with the dress, it’s got the juxtaposition of hard and soft.
Her make on the other hand is terrible, there are better ways to do a dark eye – and it’s just me or is she not taking her base down her neck?
In the last picture it looks like her head is photo-shopped on!
I don’t know if she has a healthy lifestyle, if so it doesn’t actually do her any harm to dress older and a bit wreckless.. I like her lipstick and the blue eye make-up, just that there’s way too much of it. The dress is lovely and i don’t mind the fishnets. I think with less make-up i’d very much like this look. Then again looking back at my photos when i was her age… word raccoon comes to mind, so i’m in no position to judge her

I love the dress and would personally wear it, except maybe not with fishnets. Sheer stockings maybe? The dark eye make up doesn’t look too bad on her, but it would be nicer if it was applied differently. Hair, lips and accessories are nice though.

She’s a pretty gal but I wish she would put the eyeshadow back in the cupboard. You rarely get to see her without raccoon eyes but when you do, you realize how much better she looks without eye make up.

She really doesn’t suit that eye make-up. It looks absolutely awful. I really don’t think the super long hair suits her either.. not to mention the dark roots. I do like the outfit.. but it just always seems likes she’s trying too hard to look a certain way.

i love how taylor momsen dresses most of the time, even the fishnets don’t look bad(i like her look here) but her eye makeup makes her look cracked out.

I think her outfit is fine. However, I wish she would ease up on the eye make-up. She’s gone beyond the point of a lot and is now wearing way too much. (I think she can pull off “a lot” of eye make-up, though.) Also, I just watched the Gossip Girl that aired on October 12, and that makeup was horrible. Too much eye make-up AND dark lipstick.

Horrible! For one thing she has way too much pink in her skin for that yellow hair. Second, that pale orange lip color does not compliment her at all. And way too much eye makeup!

I’m sorry, but I hate the look. Her dress wouldn’t be quite hideous on its own, but with those fishnets, it looks downright trashy, like she’s trying too hard to be edgy. She seriously needs to fire her makeup artist, and how many Barbies did she murder to get that much-too-yellow hair? Besides, she looks rather… dazed.

Again here, I think she looks great. And I think it’s a bit sad to say that fishnets and makeup make her look ‘sl*tty’ or a ‘prostitute’, there’s nothing wrong with a bit of stylistic expression. And I think the makeup brings out her eyes and gives her a personal look, and the dress looks fabulous!

I think she looks FANTASTIC here. For her to have had plain makeup, no fishnets, short hair, and a grin, it would’ve been too drab for my taste. There are too many like that out there in Hollywood already. Leave the drab stuff for Lindsay. Keep it up, Taylor! You still rock in my book! I’m envious.
