Giuliana Rancic on Cupcakes: ‘Don’t have it! Just don’t do it.’

Giuliana Rancic on Cupcakes: Don’t have it! Just don’t do it. | celebrity quotes

Super skinny TV personality Giuliana Rancic just launched a new diet and fitness website that promises to offer its readers workout tips and lots of low-calorie recipes for a ‘fun and healthy’ life. Let’s find out more from Giuliana via Radar:

“I love Fab Fit Fun,” Giuliana said. “It is a way to connect directly with people and offer up healthy tips for everything from food to drinks to my favorite new exercise. I love sharing all the cool things that I have learned about and hope that it inspires other people to live in a healthy, fun way.”

“If you’re drinking you can have skinny drinks – don’t do a margarita, they’re so much sugar. Drink tequila on the rocks with extra lime juice so it tastes really yummy.” She also warns against going overboard on sweets:

“As far as cupcakes, don’t have it! Just don’t do it. Or do it once a week. Maybe twice a week. If you start doing it too much the taste gets in your system. Especially if you’re drinking a little bit so just skip dessert. Instead when you’re craving something sweet just have an apple. You’ll feel so much better the next day.”

Giuliana and her husband Bill Rancic have gone through grueling fertility treatments, none of which have resulted in a baby for the couple. She spoke to RadarOnline.com about the mean advice people give her on Twitter, especially the taunts about her weight, telling her to just “eat a cheeseburger” and she’ll get pregnant.

“I tried eating a cheeseburger, it didn’t work! I took a pregnancy test right after I ate a cheeseburger so sorry everyone who tweeted me that great advice – it didn’t work. It’s kind of crazy that there are ignorant people out there. The bottom line is a lot of people have fertility issues. Overweight people, underweight people, healthy people. At the end of the day, unless your doctor tells you, weight doesn’t really have anything to do with it.”

Holly Madison: ‘I’d rather be overweight and curvy than super thin with no curves’

Holly Madison: I’d rather be overweight and curvy than super thin with no curves | holly madison celebrity cellulite beauty body image

A while back, Holly Madison was asked by the producers of her show to lose weight and she replied that since she brands herself as a ‘sex-symbol and not as a fitness model’, she is fine the way she is. This week, Holly is in Life & Style magazine, where she reveals her unretouched bikini body to show us that she’s got cellulite and she’s proud of her curves.

“I’d rather be overweight and curvy than super thin with no curves,” Holly, 32, exclusively tells Life & Style at the photo shoot on Feb 21. “I’m proud of my body.”

For good reason: Holly has a figure most women would envy. And yet, Holly isn’t afraid to admit that her small stature doesn’t exempt her from what haunts millions: cellulite. “I have cellulite — and had it even when I was at my absolute thinnest,” she tells Life & Style. “I’m never not going to have cellulite. People need to just accept that it’s there and maybe dress accordingly or use body makeup to cope with it.”

Still, when Peepshow’s choreographer and director instructed Holly to shed weight — after she’d gained 15 pounds following her move to Sin City — she was hurt, she confesses. “Once I realized that other people were noticing that I’d packed on a few, I was embarrassed to go onstage,” she reveals. Making matters worse: her Holly’s World nemesis, model Jayde Nicole. “Holly needs to lose 10 pounds of fat,” Jayde, who once cattily sent Holly a basket full of candy when she knew her co-star was dieting, recently told Life & Style.

“After moving to Vegas, I lived in a suite in Planet Hollywood for a year and ordered room service all the time,” Holly says. “I like food too much to go on some crazy diet. French fries are my favorite downfall.” Holly also says she’s not willing to give up sweets but she has decided to make some healthy changes: Pilates classes and 20-minute runs, and mixing prepared meals from the Fresh Diet delivery service into her menu.

I’ve always had a butt, and I want to keep it — cellulite and all. I’m not perfect, but I love my curves.” Holly tells Life & Style.

What would you prefer? To be ‘overweight and curvy or super thin with no curves’?

Kate Winslet Was Once 200 Pounds at 5’6”

Kate Winslet Was Once 200 Pounds at 56 | kate winslet celebrity weight measurements beauty body image

Kate Winslet is in Glamour Magazine this month, where she rocks a tight black dress on the cover and discusses body weight and image and plastic surgery in the interview:

GLAMOUR: During your last interview for Glamour six years ago, you were asked what you were going to be like in five years. And you jokingly replied that you’d be doing liposuction and Botox. Have you changed your mind about not trying those cosmetic things?
KATE WINSLET: My face is still moving, right? No, I have never tried any of that stuff…. I don’t have parts of my body that I hate or would like to trade for somebody else’s or wish I could surgically adjust into some fantasy version of what they are.

GLAMOUR: I read that you were literally called “blubber” when you were a teenager because you were overweight.
KATE WINSLET: Yeah. Not when I was a teenager, actually—between the ages of 8 and 11. Looking back on it, I really wasn’t that heavy. I was just stockier than the other sporty, whippy-looking kids.

GLAMOUR: You stood 5’6” and weighed 200 pounds (90 kg at 168 cm)?
KATE WINSLET: When I was 15, yes.

GLAMOUR: Were you tormented? Because today you embrace your body in a way that women love—but did you feel that way back then?
KATE WINSLET: Well, that’s an enormous compliment. You know, I will tell you that when I was heavy, people would say to me—and it was such a backhanded comment—they would say, “You’ve got such a beautiful face,” in the way of, like, “Oh, isn’t it a shame that from the neck down you’re questionable.”
