On whether she owns a scale: “Truthfully, I’m usually happiest when I’m not going anywhere near it. But you know what size your body is. And if you’re working out and have a lot of muscle, you’re going to weigh more. I feel good when I feel like I’m really strong. And that’s not necessarily when I’m at my numerically most gratifying weight.”
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is everywhere these days – a few days ago, she told us that she feels insecure at times and today, she brings by another weight-related quote:
When I started modelling, I was definitely heavier. I was quite voluptuous in fact. I had a real baby face and baby fat. But I was a baby! I was told I had to get into better shape, but I’m quite stubborn so I didn’t.’
‘I can’t remember a time where I really battled with my body, but I can remember being asked to lose weight and battling with the advice. It hurt me. Especially as my baby fat naturally melted away as I got older.’
‘I don’t just work out to stay slim, I work out because it takes a lot to be on a plane and be jet-lagged all the time. Same with being on a film set for months. It’s important your body is strong and toned and can take that battering.’
Ginnifer Goodwin, who confessed a few days ago that she is no longer a vegan, brings today’s quote – via Marie Claire:
Ginnifer on her childhood weight: “I am genetically predisposed to be a bigger girl than I am. If I didn’t live in Hollywood, I would be. I have very real hips and a real Southern woman’s ass,” she says, munching on the slivers of turkey bacon that accompany her egg-white omelet. Her parents enrolled her in Weight Watchers, which meant she ran laps around the local mall and counted point values for everything she ate. Goodwin is still a devotee of the program, and with the help of her iPhone, she’s “apping points all day.”

At request, here’s 22 year-old actress Nina Dobrev in Seventeen Magazine this month, posing in bikinis and tiny colorful outfits and sharing a bit on how she keeps thin & fit. Here are some quotes from the interview:
At the end of last year, I tried being a vegetarian for four months, and after awhile, I started feeling weak, like I needed more protein, more energy,” Dobrev told Seventeen for the first-ever fitness issue. “Then I read a review an episode of The Vampire Diaries online, and in it the writer mentioned that I was looking too thin. I was like, ‘Okay, maybe they’re right.’ It made me think: I need a burger — a beef burger, not a soy burger.
Somebody who talks about how much they’re eating and counts calories is unattractive to me. and when you don’t eat or limit yourself in the things you eat, it affects your mood. I’ve seen people who are a nightmare to be around because they’re not eating.
