Even the slim celebrities are bombed with attacks that target their weight when they dare to put on 5 pounds – Miley Cyrus is the latest celeb to join this club, as she was recently labeled with ‘fat’ comments on Twitter. What did she respond? Let’s see the full story from Daily Mail:

Miley Cyrus is proud of her body and she wants the world to know it. The 18-year-old pop star is fighting back after coming under criticism for adding some much-needed curves to her slender frame. She took to her Twitter page late last week to talk about self love and the dangers of hating your shape after some critics sneered that she had lost control of her body.

‘By calling girls like me fat, this is what you’re doing to other people. I love MYSELF & If you could say the same you wouldn’t be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others.’

The former Hannah Montana star then proceeded to post a photograph of a woman so emaciated that her ribs were clearly visible.She also posted a photograph of curvaceous blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe (see below) with the caption:

‘Proof that you can be adored by thousands of men even when your thighs touch. ‘I don’t wanna be shaped like a girl. I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man won’t mind either ’ .

“I’m much more of a British girl than a Los Angeles girl. I’m not full of s**t enough to be an LA girl. But I have started hanging out with women more.

“I still find it tough to be around girls because I always say the wrong thing. If a friend asks me if I look fat in something, I’ll be honest and say, ‘Yeah’ when she does.”

On weight criticism last year:

“All kinds of women started coming up to me and saying what an example I was setting by not constantly dieting. Everybody fluctuates, but I’m open about my weight and I’m still confident. I didn’t cry about it too much.”

Actress Melissa McCarthy (Gilmore Girls, Mike and Molly, Bridesmaids) is on the cover of Entertainment Weekly and she shares with us a few thoughts on weight criticism:

On a blogger criticizing her weight: “My first thought was ‘Gosh, I hope she doesn’t have a daughter.’ And then after a second I thought, ‘What a sad, troubled person. You’re making such a s—ty judgment on people.’ Do I sometimes hope I wake up in the morning and people are like, ‘What’s wrong with her? She looks emaciated,’ ” she says. “Of course I would love that. I’m such a clothes whore I would love the opportunity to be a hanger. But I think I’m more confident than I’ve ever felt in my life. I always thought it was worth the fight. Now I know it is.”

Back in September, Kelly Osbourne made a not-so-nice comment about Christina Aguilera’s weight (see the post here), saying:

“She called me fat for so many f***ing years. So you know what? F**k you! You’re fat too.”

It seems that the new pictures of Christina in her leotard during the Michael Jackson tribute concert stimulated Kelly (here pictured at her heaviest) to continue her thoughts this week on a Fashion Police Episode, where she said:
