People Magazine has the details:

Valerie Bertinelli and Nicole Sullivan are about to be in even better company as Eastwick star Sara Rue joins them as the newest spokesperson for Jenny Craig. The 31-year-old actress tells PEOPLE that she can’t wait to start the program.

“My weight has fluctuated my whole life (see her then & now in the picture!), and because I’ve been on television since I was 11 years old, everyone has seen it,” she explains. “I think like so many women in this country I have a problem controlling what I eat sometimes based on my emotional health.”

Bertinelli, who lost 40 pounds on Jenny Craig, tells PEOPLE that Rue “is me three years ago. She’s every woman who’s ever started a diet.” She will be a good spokesperson because, “she’s real. She’s honest.”

Rue’s initial weight loss goal is 30 pounds. Then, she says, “we’ll see how my body looks, how I feel, and go from there.”

Her first post-weight loss goal? “Rock climbing or wind surfing!” Rue says. “The things that I’m just too intimidated the size I am now to do.”

But the big question remains: Does she want to follow in Bertinelli’s footsteps and sport a bikini? “If I look half as good as Valerie does at the end of this, maybe, possibly,” Rue says, smiling. “I don’t know if I’m more scared of sharks or being in a bathing suit. Maybe sharks, depending on the day.”

Kelly Clarkson Loves Her Bubble Butt

Kelly Clarkson Loves Her Bubble Butt | kelly clarkson

She really does! And she says guys love it too. And she’s sad for the girls who can’t fill their jeans:

Kelly Clarkson loves her “bubble butt.” The “My Life Would Suck Without You” singer loves being a role model for curvy girls, and is especially proud of her shapely posterior. She said: “I totally have no chest, I’m all butt. Ever since I was a kid I’ve had a bubble butt – I get it from my mama. Guys are usually like, ‘Oh my gosh, look at that butt!’ In a good way!” “I’m a fan of my butt. I like filling out a pair of jeans, because sometimes I see girls who can’t and I feel bad about that.”

Kelly, 27, has been criticized for her fluctuating weight, but insists comments about her figure do not bother her.She is happy to admit she has cellulite and struggles to stay slim, and claims women who say it is easy to stay in shape are lying. She told Britain’s Heat magazine: “Dude, every woman has cellulite, I don’t care who you are. Unless you’re some anorexic girl in some mental institution? but even then their skin gets like that and worse. Any girl who tells you she doesn’t have cellulite is a frickin’ liar!”

Although Kelly has ruled out having cosmetic surgery to improve her figure, she is adamant women should not be lambasted if they do go under the knife. She insisted: “If a girl wanted bigger boobs, she could get them, but you can’t get a bigger butt!”"I’m kind of on the fence about it, because I have a friend who was completely unhappy with her boyish figure and she got breast implants and it turned her life around. So it’s hard for me to be against it, but I’m also not for it. I would never do it.”

OK, there are a few interesting statements in there! Let’s talk!

Plus-Size Model Crystal Renn Releases Book Called “Hungry”

Plus Size Model Crystal Renn Releases Book Called Hungry | then and now hot models celebrity weight measurements

Plus-Size Model Crystal Renn (23) just released a book about her journey in the modeling world, a journey from size 0 to size 12: “Hungry – A Young Model’s Story: Appetite, Ambition and the Ultimate Embrace of Curves”.

Here’s her summarized story: At age 14, Crystal told that she had to lose 9 inches from her hips in order to be a succesful model. As a result, Crystal went from 175 lbs to 95 lbs in just 2 years. At 16, Crystal dealt with anorexia and was a size 0(US). But then, there was a turning point:

At 17 my body completely rebelled. I couldn’t loose more weight and I realized I was going to die for a job. The next day I was completely chastised by my agency for my size and one agent pulled me aside and said, “There’s an option for you. You can either go plus-size or do commercial work.” And I asked, “What’s plus-size modeling? I’ve never heard of that.” And she said, “Well it means you can be whatever size you want and model.” But she said it was for old women! But for whatever reason, everything made sense and I knew this was the route I had to take. I went and had a salad with salmon and walnuts and olive oil. I gave into what my body needed. I could be healthy and happy and still model., says Crystal.

… and so, she was inspired to share her story in a book:

“I’d like to see everyone take on the attitude that there are women of all different shapes and sizes as `the beauty ideal,’ and that it’s not one type or another. There are women who are naturally a size 2 — you can’t forget them, and that’s discrimination the other way,” Renn said. “All women bring something different to the table and we have to appreciate them all.”

Some in the fashion, modeling and magazine industries have been receptive to the idea, she said, noting that she’s still working with her fuller figure in Vogue, Glamour, on the runway with Jean Paul Gaultier and in ads for Dolce & Gabbana. ”I believe there is a cycle to everything — Wall Street, the housing market, and modeling, too. Back in the Victorian days, it was all about a full figure, in the ’50s, it was about the boobs, in the ’80s it was shoulders and in the ’90s it was waifs,” she said. “It can only go up from here.”, says Crystal.

Mischa Barton Is Insecure About Her Body

… especially about her legs & cellulite.

Here are the details from People Magazine:

Mischa Barton’s personal demons not only included a DUI arrest, relationship breakups and a hospitalization at a psychiatric ward – the actress also struggled with a fluctuating weight and body image.

“She has big self-esteem issues. … She hates her legs,” says a source close to Barton. “She isn’t comfortable with her body. It’s been a big source of stress and self-hate.”

Speculation about 23-year-old actress’s weight and nasty comments from tabloids and blogs also fueled insecurity.

“She had a big problem with those photos of her cellulite. … She didn’t like it,” says another source. “That just was something that contributed to her spiraling but she didn’t do much to fix it because of her partying.”

While another friend tells PEOPLE the photos upset the former O.C. star – “[She was] more pissed off than hurt and she complained a lot about that” – she didn’t let them get “to her too much. … I never saw her diet.”

But when photos showed a thinner Barton, she took to her blog and spoke out about the “crazy press,” telling fans that she’s “happier and healthier than ever so there’s no need to worry about me.”

“Just be happy and secure with yourself,” she wrote on her Web site. “Don’t let other people’s perceptions of you dictate the way you live your life.”
