LeAnn Rimes continues to talk about her body – this time, she explains that the reason why she is so thin is because she isn’t a baby anymore – from Star:

LeAnn on her body: “I understand the public is used to seeing me with baby fat, but you have got to understand that I’m not a baby anymore… everyone has seen my every five-or10-pound weight loss or gain since I was 13. Now I’ve grown into a woman, and my body has changed.”

Her divorce did affect her weight: “When I went through a divorce and didn’t want to get out of bed for almost a year and a half, I gained 10 lbs.”

Since marrying Eddie: “I’m the happiest I’ve been. I’m healthy and taking great care of my body again.”

Her new workout: “It’s made my body] longer, leaner and less bulky.” She now exercises three or four times a week by doing Pilates, dancing or circuit training with light weights. “I also love boxing to get rid of stress and tone my entire body… but lately, I mainly work out when I can. Mostly that’s consisted of walking miles through airports and performing high-energy 90-minute shows every night while on tour!”

Her diet: “I start off my day with [nutritionist Kimberly Snyder’s] smoothies, and then I’m mostly vegetarian until dinner, when I eat fish, chicken or steak with salad and veggies. There’s nothing I deprive myself of, not even sugar. I eat everything I want in moderation.”

She mentions pregnancy: “My body will continually change with stress, contentment or whether I’m busy or not. Hopefully also one day when I’m pregnant!”

LeAnn Rimes is one of the celebrities that loves to talk and show off her super skinny figure – notice how in this interview with the Associated Press, the singer turns the subject from ‘being famous’ to ‘weight’:

AP: Celebrity and fame has changed since you first became famous as a teenager. Now you’re followed by paparazzi and the press focuses on your marriage.
Rimes: It’s interesting. I was told when I was little I couldn’t have an opinion because you want everyone to buy your record and like you. I’m not gonna apologize for who I am and what I’ve gone through. We all are human. I’ve learned you just don’t know what another person has gone through. … People don’t see that. You know, I went through all I’ve gone through in the last few years and I was going through a divorce and I couldn’t get out of bed, and so I gained 10 pounds and then I lose 10 pounds because now I’m moving around and I’m working and you know, I don’t stop and no one sees that (weight loss) actually can happen like naturally. It’s a natural progression of life. It has to be some big deal and some issue so I’m glad there are people out there that are smarter than that and they don’t buy into it.

A short while back, Giuliana Rancic told the press that she fels LeAnn Rimes was too skinny. Check out her words and LeAnn’s reaction in this post!

Today, Giuliana tries to complete her initial message:

The first person that came to mind — cause that bikini shot of her had just came out — was LeAnn Rimes. I know she’s lost a lot of weight, but I like her when she’s curvier. I interviewed her when her Shape magazine cover just came out, and I thought she looked amazing, and that’s all I said — it was pretty harmless.If someone said to me, I like you curvier, I wouldn’t take that as an insult.

I didn’t say she’s ugly skinny or that she needs to gain weight. What’s wrong with saying a girl is pretty [when she’s] curvy?
