June 17, 2008 in Heidi Klum, Skinny Scale by Versus

When you can wear a dress that tight and that white and look that slim, then you know you belong on the Skinny Scale! What is the Skinny Scale, you ask? It’s a rating system destined to grade the skinny celebrities from 1 to 10, 1 being the “so not skinny” and 10 being “so soooo skinny”.
I guess you agree that Heidi is looking particularly narrow and thin in the above picture, with tiny hips, tiny waist and thin legs (even with the cut of the shoes and the cut of the dress that generally thicken the legs). So, what do you think? How would you place Heidi on the skinny scale?
Versus’s expert rating: Heidi’s rate is 7. No bones in sight, that’s true, but no visible body fat either.

May 12, 2008 in Nicky Hilton, Skinny Scale by Versus

Nicky Hilton is, apparently, ambitious enough to maintain this low weight she has been spotting for a while now. While the pin thin legs and the lack of body fat might attract the skinny lovers, there are some disadvantages that come with this super skinny territory. Like what? Like the long face and gaunt expression that manages to do nothing else but kidnap the youth and freshness of one’s face.
We all know that Nicky is skinny – but how skinny is she? Rate her on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 is “skinny? girl should hit the gym” and 10 is “skip the gym and hit the food court!” Skinny Scale Time! Rate Nicky Hilton!
Versus’s expert verdict: Nicky deserves a 7, but I might change my mind and offer her an 8 from a different angle. When your knees look like they could hurt someone, then you know you deserve to be on the skinny scale.

April 14, 2008 in Amy Winehouse, Skinny Scale by Versus

Weight probably isn’t the most striking problem and concern when looking at Amy Winehouse, right? But while we’re at it, well… it’s obvious that the girl is on the skinny ground (yes, trying to avoid the “skinny territory” cliche). Some might scream out “chicken legs” but hey, we are trying to be delicate here. The thing is Amy sure knows how to compensate the “fat-lacking-legs” with an over-the-top hairstyle, to say it nicely.
What do you say? How would you rate Amy’s skinniness on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 stands for “what skinny? girl should quit fries & mayo!” and 10 is “girl needs fries & mayo asap!”
Versus’s expert rating: Amy Winhouse is an 8. Reason 1: I spot cheekbones, don’t spot cheeks. Reason 2: Hello, hello, hips, why don’t you copy?
