From Us Weekly:

Zoe Saldana isn’t opposed to plastic surgery.

On Lifetime’s “The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet” Thursday, the 33-year-old actress revealed she wouldn’t mind getting a breast augmentation.

“‘Buy yourself a pair of t-tties.’ I heard somebody tell me this once and I I was like, ‘You know what? You’re absolutely right. Thank you for that,’” Saldana said. “And it just hit me, like, ‘Why not? But yourself a pair of t-tties.’”

In Saldana’s eyes, if “an old man was having a midlife crisis and can buy a Porsche and date a 17-year-old, I can buy myself a pair and be the sexiest soccer mom you’ve ever seen.”

The single star — she recently split with beau of three months Bradley Cooper, 37 — added that she doesn’t judge women who decide to go under the knife.

“As long as you’re doing it for reasons that are balanced for you [it's okay]. It’s not even about judging what’s right or wrong. There’s nobody on this earth who can tell you that what you’re feeling is wrong. They can tell you it’s different to what they’re feeling. That said, I’m okay with people trying to do whatever it is they need to do to feel better,” The Words actress explained.

“What doesn’t feel okay to me, what feels a little bit out of balance, is when you want to turn yourself into something else — when you want to be another person.”

Natalia Vodianova: “It’s better to be skinny than to be fat”

Natalia Vodianova: Its better to be skinny than to be fat | hot models celebrity quotes beauty body image

30 year-old model Natalia Vodianova recently made a comment that fits perfectly with our niche and is already making heat on gossip sites – but let’s see the full story from NY Post:

Russian model Natalia Vodianova does not understand why models are criticized for being too thin.

“It’s better to be skinny than to be fat,” the seven time British Vogue covergirl said bluntly, while appearing on a panel at London’s 2012 Vogue Festival this weekend. The panel was comprised of fellow models Lily Cole, Eva Herzigova and Jourdan Dunn.

According to the Telegraph, a large percentage of the event was dedicated to discussing body image after British Vogue’s executive fashion director commented, “It’s undeniable that models are very thin, expected to be very thin, and thinner than 99.9 percent of the population.”

While Herzigova said that models are “just born with” a slim physique, Vodianova quickly jumped in explaining that maintaining her trim body is a conscious choice — one she works hard on.

“I respect my body, my body is my temple,” she said, quoting a common adage before speaking candidly. “If I eat like a pig, I am going to feel like a pig. Sometimes I have a huge, delicious five-star dinner with my grandparents with seven courses. In the morning you wake up and you feel like [bleep]. If I feel like that, okay, I am not going to be able to feel good about myself.”

When her fellow models began singing the praises of other body shapes, Vodianova cut them off.

C’mon guys, you know it’s better to be skinny than to be fat,” she said.

In a bizarre twist, the model’s comment was greeted with applause, the newspaper reports.

What do you think about Natalia’s comments? And what about Eva Herziegova’s words that models are ‘just born slim’?
