Skinny VS Curvy

“Let me please stand in solidarity with all of the women who are not a size 2 six weeks after leaving the hospital. I thought, you read all of the stuff in magazines like, ‘Oh, I breastfed my baby and I am so skinny now.’ I am breast-feeding my baby and I am not getting any skinnier! I think I’m just going to be a little bit bigger for a little bit longer and that’s fine with me.”

Kim Kardashian, who is still one of the most commented celebs on our site is featured in Cosmopolitan Body and shares a few thoughts (again) on her body size:

“I never aspired to be a size zero. Although one time I tried on a dress with a size-8 label when I thought I was a size 4. It turned out it was a UK size 8, so actually it was my normal size. But it made me think, ‘Why do I even care?’ I couldn’t care less if it said 14. It’s just a number. Your best measure is to look in the mirror. I always say you shouldn’t weigh yourself. I don’t even have a set of scales in my house.”

29 year-old Elisha Cuthbert is in Shape Magazine this month, where she talks about her weight, fitness and favorite foods:

On her weight:
“I must have great genes because I got away with the minimum amount of exercise for a very long time! It wasn’t until I turned 25 that I noticed I wasn’t in shape.”

On fitness:
“I had to make fitness a part of my life. I started running six days a week for about 45 minutes and hitting the gym to strength-train. And recently I’ve gotten into yoga; I like how it keeps my body limber.”

On her Valentine’s Day menu plans:
“There’s nothing more romantic than Italian food. I’ll probably start with heirloom tomatoes and burrata cheese, then serve my homemade vegetable lasagna, along with a nice glass of Chianti. I don’t bake, so I’ll get something delicious from the bakery for dessert. When it comes to sweets, I give myself a free pass and allow some splurging.”

Kristen Bell can be found on the cover of Self Magazine this month, where she talks about her diet as (and reasons for becoming) a vegetarian – here’s what she says:

On what she eats as a vegetarian:
“I’ve been a vegetarian since I was 11, because I couldn’t understand why if we didn’t eat the dog I should eat a burger. I love animals, and I stand by my values. So in the morning, I have an apple and, if we have leftover pizza, I scrape the toppings into egg whites. Pizza eggs are better than you can imagine! For lunch, I’ll have a big salad and a veggie burger. I’m a fan of multicourse dinners. Last night, I made brussels sprouts baked with balsamic vinegar, grapes and walnuts; butternut squash ravioli; and a “garbage disposal” salad, which is everything in the veggie and fruit drawers: lentils, spinach, romaine, blueberries, cucumbers, raspberries, almonds, carrots and avocado. Literally anything. You don’t even need a dressing because there are so many tastes.”
