Since there is no other apparent motive for me to post this picture, I found a simple, basic and natural reason: supermodels and co-workers Doutzen Kroes and Adriana Lima are pretty. And they manage to look so without even showing much (flawless) skin or (again, flawless) supermodel shapes.

Here is Kristen Bell looking slightly more voluptuous than she does in reality, where she usually appears to be a petite and skinny girl. Here, on the other hand, skinny is not the first thing that pops in mind, but rather shapely and well endowed.

I don’t know if you noticed, but while magazines like Elle are doing their best to make celebs look skinnier, magazines like Maxim are surely doing a great job at making them look curvy/curvier.

Could it be that female readers prefer “skinny” and male readers prefer “curvy”?
