January 19, 2009 in Body Type and Clothes, Queen Latifah by Versus

The BET Honors Second Annual Black Entertainment Awardstook place a few days ago and Queen Latifah made an appearance, looking really good in a black lace dress.
Definitely flattering, definitely right for her curvy full figure! Even though the purple empire waist gown that she wore at People’s Choice Awardswas a beautiful one, this black dress hugs Queen Latifah’s curves just perfectly… and it actually looks like she’s lost pounds in between the events (there was only a 1 week gap).
Check again the purple dress after the jump and compare!

January 12, 2009 in Drew Barrymore by Versus

Next red carpet stop: Drew Barrymore – and she’s looking amazing!
I’m loving everything about this look: Drew’s current weight and shape, the way the dress agrees with her figure (and the way the rear details of the dress trace its contour), the always-present smile and the statement accessories.
How do you like it?

January 9, 2009 in Body Comparisons, Body Type and Clothes, Debra Messing, Marisa Tomei by Versus

From the “Hot Celebrities over 40″ category, here are Marisa Tomei (44) and Debra Messing (40) at People’s Choice Awards, looking fabulous in midi strapless dresses.
Debra’s got a little extra puffiness (not on her body, but in her dress) and they both chose slim legs’ number one friend, a.k.a. nude platform shoes.

January 7, 2009 in Denise Richards, Lisa Rinna, Who Can Pull It Off? by Versus
I’m wondering whether these bandage dresses will ever go out of trend – but since they’re pretty flattering on many body shapes (especially because they hide little lumps & rolls), I’m guessing that they’re here to stay, a least a little longer. They might be generally flattering, but hot pink, skintight, relatively short bandage dresses might be a little tricky. So:
Does this type of dress look better on thin ruler shape Lisa or on curvier Denise?
The Pink Bandage Dress Looks Better on… Lisa Rinna VS Denise Richards!
Versus’s verdict: My vote goes to Denise – bandage dresses look very hot on round hips – but you may think otherwise!
