Skinny VS Curvy

Curious to see Khloe’s advices? Here they are:

“Diane von Furstenberg has a very mod, 1950s bikini where the bottom is kind of high-waisted- very Marilyn Monroe and very sexy so if you have a little tummy, you can hide it. When you have a bigger butt, bottoms without ties on the side sometimes will cut into your skin. I have a booty, so I like ties because I can loosen them up a little.”

“I’ve seen women on the beach and I don’t know if they don’t see it but their breasts are hanging all the way down. They need some more support.”

“I love one-pieces, but I’m still 25. A lot of one-pieces look like they’re for older women, but nowadays there are so many fun one-pieces with cutouts and other designs that are really sexy.”

P.S.: Yes, the picture is old – it’s from 2009, but Khloe hasn’t been spotted in a bikini since.

Remember THIS STORY?

The same designer that was abandoned by some of his team for using bigger models last year is back – this time, Mark Fast used a bunch of (some call them “plus-size”, some call them “real-size”) non-skinny models during his show at 2010 London Fashion Week, who walked the runway together with the skinny, typical models.

As his representatives said before, the idea behind this initiative is to show that…

“We wanted women to know they didn’t have to be a size zero to wear a Mark Fast dress – curvier women can look even better in them.”

Hmm… I don’t really get their message when looking at these pictures. Facts are, these extra tight and stretchy, knitwear dresses in nude tones aren’t extremely flattering on these size 12 models. Even more, it looks like the dresses are a bit too tight (on the arms, bust) and the underwear / stockings they wear underneath are not the best choices either.

I bet that these size 12 girls could have looked really great in dresses with more structure or in any classic silhouette designs.

Ashley Greene stepped out this week in various outfits (and the paparazzis were always there) and we picked to denim-based looks – outfit 1 features high (more like “normal”)-waisted jeans with wider legs and outfit 2 includes skinny grey jeans. Ashley is an athletic V-shaped girl, with broader shoulders, narrower hips and slim legs.

Extra info: She’s 22 and 5’5”!

Nelly Furtado wore this little black number at the photocal of the Gala Awards 40 Principales 2009 in Madrid the other day.

Puffy sleeves can look great on curvy pear shapes, because they balance the figure and add some volume on top, but I don’t think that these ones right here are particularly flattering.
