What do we have here? 2 gorgeous redheads with pale skins (a rarity in Hollywood and, at the same time, a group that wants Lindsay Lohan back!) in their long gowns on the SAG red carpet: lean and skinny Evan Rachel Wood and the MEGA-curvy Christina Hendricks.
These ladies might have related hair colors, skintones and eye nuances, but I know one thing that they definiely do NOT have in common: body type! Just check out the difference between Rachel’s hips and Christina’s hips – it’s quite amazing and it’s living proof that we come in very different shapes and sizes (especially since these 2 ladies seem to embrace their NATURAL body types).

I do think Evan is gorgeous and I like that she is mysteriously sexy, but I find Christina so sexy and so incredibly gorgeous and I love her body and her red hair.
Wow Christina indeed has hips! Do I imagine or does her hips look much wider than previous post made of her? I´ve always thought she looks super fantastic, but still I think I go with Evan Rachel here.. Evan has looked so amazing lately with that fabulous hair colour and make-up. I would like to call this one to Christina, cause I like curvy figures, but at this post I think Evan looks better.

She’s fat? Really? I think she’s something that us women who can’t be slim can aspire to and look up to. She’s very well proportioned, and she carries the excess weight(if she really is overweight) very well. I would love to have her shape.
Actually, I don’t think that she’s fat, either. But I think that she could lose a few pounds. Her figure is not attractive to me, even if it is a little overweight. She could deal with losing some. But I definitely admire her pride. =]
I don’t think that there is a normal woman that “can’t be slim”. I think that for all body types there is a good medium where you can be called slim. I don’t think that there is going to be a standard thin because of all of the different sizes, but the term is definitely there for each woman. There is no undiagnosed woman that can’t be slim. She could lose a few pounds, and be more attractive to me.
I guess I should have stated “For us women that can’t be(or maintain) slim in a healthy manner”. Sure, I guess I could be slim, if I severely restricted what I ate and exercised like mad. I’d rather be medium/large and feeling like I could take on the world then small/extra small and feeling like I am starving myself and worn out all the time.
Well, you will have to respect that some people find Christina too fat, just as some people find Evan too thin. *shrug*

I love Christina’s shape when she is a few pounds lighter and it is veering more towards a extremely full hourglass, but she has put on a few pounds and looks decidely more pear shaped (with boobs on the larger side) to me. A voluptuos pear i would call her now. In this instance I think Marcia Cross would have been a better contender versus Christina than this v shaped lady.

That isn’t the most flattering dress I’ve seen on Christina, but at least we can tell she’s a woman from the neck down. This comment infuriates me. I am a grown woman who was never blessed in the boob department. No amount of weight gain would give me large breasts – I’ve never gained weight in that area. But just because I don’t have Christina’s curves doesn’t make me a little girl. Women come in all shapes and sizes and I for one refuse to get plastic surgery so I can have curves like a “real” woman. You, Marissa, are the little girl here – grow up!
I have to agree with Marissa, Taylor. While there are many women with small breasts that are very beautiful and feminine looking such as Eva Longoria, Evan really does look quite masculine. I don’t think it’s the lack of large breasts that makes her boyish though. I think it has more to do with her demeanor. She has a masculine face, and the body doesn’t help. She also sounds very masculine if you ask me. I have nothing against women that have banana bodies, but they certainly do not look as feminine as women with curves.

Those are SOME hips. She’s definitely got boobs too although they aren’t so evident here…I’m leaning towards Christina. I think Evan is really pretty and she has a nice body too, I wouldn’t hate to look like her either but I tend to prefer some curves.

There is no contest here. I agree with Marissa, Evan looks like a boy in a dress, (she even has a boy’s name.) Christina has an amazing womanly figure (not at all fat.) She is what I like to call “Bonus Sized.” She has a much more pure milk-like skin tone than Evan, and her hair is a much better deep firey red. Christina also seems to have great confidence in her body, and that is incredably sexy! And when you combine these four things you have the perfect woman, Christina! confident, “Bonus Sized,” deep firey redheads with pure milky-pale skin, YOU LADIES RULE!!!

Christina has been unsupported(check out her role in “Our Mrs. Reynolds”, a “Firefly” episode), and she definitely was not sporting “knee knockers”, “floor hitters”, or “national geographic titties”. She may be a bit “chunky”, but odds are she would look just as good as, or better than, ERW naked. Not all women can be slim like ERW, and not all women can be curvy like Christina. Hmmm… I love Christina’s figure. She looks absolutely lovely. I’m not partial to the tall, skinny look. Both ladies are very talented, but Christina is definitely much more beautiful than Evan. I don’t even think Evan is any competition for Christina when it comes to looks. Even has too much of a masculine face and body for my taste, but some people like that.
Every woman is different. A different bone structure, build, muscle tone and fat distribution. As a woman with a shape almost identical to Christina’s, it is hard to live in a world with a warped idea of beautiful. Being told to your face that you are fat, just because you have curves (even if physically you are healthy and not overweight). It is very unjust. Even for naturally slender women. So, I believe they are both gorgeous. Evan’s face is exquisite but I am partial to Christina’s figure (it is so rare that you see a woman built like her that the media still deems beautiful). It’s nice to see she’s stepped up to the plate and is proud of who she is, instead of trying to be somehting she is not.

I feel like a lot of women are criticized for being too thin, but as a girl who is rather slim and doesn’t have much of a bust, I have to say that it’s difficult for those who are small-breasted as well. It’s not easy for us to see how women with larger cup sizes are considered more beautiful. The only way for us to look like that is to go under the knife, after which we are accused of being too plastic.
With that said, I know this is dedicated to seeing which body looks better, but I’m going to go with Evan on face alone. I tend to ignore body shape, as it’s something we just have to embrace as women. Christina Hendricks is attractive, but for some reason, she just isn’t strikingly beautiful to me. She also looks like a different person every time I see her. The only thing constant is her body.
Then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Anyway, Beyonce is pretty but almost as insanely overrated as Hendricks, who is overweight and only appears “curvy” (which is a hideously overrated body shape and not realistic at all to women) when she wears pushup bras, girdles, corsets and padding to create more waist definition. and hun, dont even pretend you know what all or most men want or have the right so speak for all =) my best friend is a guy and realizes how very unattractive and overweight CH is. any SANE person would take someone as healthy-looking and in shape as Evan over someone with a boob job who never exercises any day.
This one is really hard because I love both so much! There is a wide gap in age though and if I had to choose, then I’d pick Evan, because she is about my age, so I can relate more to her. I like both body types equally, because I myself am somewhere in between (used to be more like Even though until I stopped taking ballett lessons).

I think they both look nice…but the truth is, Christina doesn’t look like that under the dress. I can just tell she has a muffin top, arm flab, a lot of cellulite, and her increasing age is apparent in facial wrinkles. Evan is beautiful, and I think her figure would be more apparent if she weren’t wearing a flowing, strapless dress. She is young and hot though, and definitely wins. I also believe Evan Rachel is a better actress, when I recently saw CH in “Drive” I was beyond unimpressed. Typically, I find that larger girls and some men who fall for the facade of dressing for a full figure and push up bra are willing to defend types like Christina, the type most likely to gain more and more weight until they look entirely unbecoming in a decade, more or less. I know my sh*t when it comes to this.
