SATC 2 Movie Poster Spent Too Much Time In Photoshop

The new SATC 2 poster is out and to sum it up: my oh my, what have they done?
Kim’s face (?!), Kristen’s larger bust, Cynthia’s elongated leg, Sarah’s calf that is just too low and the skinified figures are just some of Photoshop’s delightful masterpieces on this occasion.
So what do you think about this one?
LOVE her outfit soo cute!! She has really been coming into her own since becoming a mom .....

That’s just shocking. I’ve been using photoshop for several years now, and they’ve just overstepped ALL of the basic retouching you learn as a beginner… very very poorly done.

Why don’t they ban photoshop already? This is so pathetic! No one will die seeing an unphotoshopped movie poster, if people can stand seeing them ‘normal’ on the screen they’ll survive the poster.
Pathetic old women trying to look flawless and yes i blame them. I’m pretty damn sure that if the lead players say NO we don’t want photoshop, they won’t use photoshop.
Celebrities, covers and posters have become a sad sad joke, seriously and i don’t think anyone enjoys seeing fake people. I wonder how these fake whoras live with themselves..
They don’t ban photoshop, because of a thing called free speech.
If they were to ban photoshop, why not ban autotune, or any other manipulation of any form of art?
There shouldn’t be an investment into trying to get photoshop banned, because that’s stupid and won’t happen. Rather, there should be an effort to show people the existance of photoshop, especially young girls who wouldn’t know otherwise.
you would have to be a very stupid girl not to have figured out something was up, the skin is what gives it away. it’s like a cartoon version or an old oil painting. and kids can recognise the difference betwen those and real life. I’m sure they’ve seen real people in not only real life but real photos. they’ll get it. fear not

Unfortunately, not all the photoshop jobs are so obvious, I mean, of course everyone may be able to notice one on the skin, but it’s sometimes hard to believe it goes on much further, as they do.
And, if the price payed with self-esteem by some people didn’t seem so over the roof to me, I wouldn’t even care.
In relation to what was said above, I agree! this photoshop job is weird. But beauty sells! so as long as that still happens, they will photoshop, photoshop, photoshop!

For a movie poster all is pretty acceptable to me except that Kim’s face is unrecognizable. With a movie like SATC, you’d want the actresses face to be recognizeable, because that’s the whole appeal of SATC (the girls!).
The interesting thing is they didn’t even make her look better, just different.
i agree, kim’s face is the one that looks the most different, and definitely not in a good way. She looks so much prettier in real life!
Forget about the (lame, lazy, uncreative, ridiculous) poster…why make a secuel of that silly movie??? are they gonna get stranded on a magical dessert? LOL I hope so!

Nooo this is so not the point of SATC imo. Movie posters can be brushed to an extreme for, let’s say artistic values, but for me, these 4 women are awesome bc they are themselves, more or less, and though they might have gotten some work done, dunno, their age shows, and especially their characters, they’re supposed to look and be older, and still fab! Maybe i shouldn’t care so much for one pic.

Ditto. This one actually kinda looks like a painting, and I think its pretty. Realism was *clearly* not the goal, and I don’t think its a big deal for a movie. You’re going to see (more or less) the real people when you see it, so why not take some artistic license with the poster?
And does anyone seriously not understand the existence and rediculousness of photoshop? Really? Its not exactly a secret these days…

Why photoshop the poster, we’re going to see them on the “big” screen anyway. Geez, I’ve nothing against trying to accentuate your best features, but these photoshopping pro’s are just a bad joke! Come On
…BUT i’m really looking forward to the movie though. It was soo hard not to read any spoilers and i’m so proud of myslef haha. I love Cynthia, I wish I was as witty as her, she could totally crack me up anyday when im feeling low

I bet they acutally really softened up SJPs arms and chest, the last photos we’ve seen of her have been way more überlean and muscular. And I have never seen Cynthias waist that tiny, she has a good figure but she’s broad!

Hayley, can you please tell me what appears on your screen? A name of the company, anything, please. We have no virus, the site is clean, it’s the ads that bring viruses. We’ve been writing to our advertising companies for a long while, but we never see the virus so we don’t know what to tell them. Please help me: do you have a screenshot? A name? A link?
china.tv or something like that appears alot, constantly used to redirect me to that site
When I am at this site, sometimes (happened about four times) some kind of warning comes to the screen and says I have five different viruses and I need to remove them. There arent any viruses, those five viruses will be downloaded if I do what that “warning” wants me to. (I have never done that though, just simply closed the site) It comes only when I am at Skinnyvscurvy.
Well it just redirects me, and the webpage looks like a ‘My Documents’ window and then it says i have a virus but it is actually a virus it’s self. If it happens again i will screenshot it, thanks

Oh my god, this is awful. Sarah looks like a Barbie doll and Kim Cattrall looks nothing like herself. Too fake, that makes me sad. This is my all time favourite show, but this poster is shameful.
