Allegations have suggested that the Rude Boy singer sheds out $1,500 a day on a personal trainer and her spending does not end there – she also hires a private chef for $800 a day!
RiRi recently said of her extravagant spending: ” I need a trainer to motivate me, I don’t find it much fun working out on my own.”

I agree, a personal chef would be sweet. Just pay them to count your calories for you and you’d never have to worry about your diet. Just enjoy delicious meals every day. For the amount she spends though you’d think she’d look better than that.
For spending that amount of money, she could look better. I run and workout in a gym and I don’t look that much inferior. I pay $60 a month. I cook all my own YUMMY food for a couple hundred a month. Good to know getting filthy rich isn’t going to help me look that much better

Well, not everyone’s body conforms the same way. Rihanna can’t lose the muscle from her thighs and she’ll always have a smaller top half – it’s just her body shape, there’s nothing she can do about it. I don’t think she could really look any better with what she’s given because she already is pretty toned and doesn’t have much body fat. Also, there’s only a little bit that much of professional training, cooking, etc. can do. It’s mostly genes. I’m happy with my body, for example, so even if I invested that much, I don’t think I would look any better.

I don’t think it’s so much as charity vs. personal use, as it is WASTE vs. personal use.
I don’t mind that she chose to spend her money on personal trainers and chefs instead of donating to the poor. That’s absolutely her choice because it’s her money. What I mind is the complete wastefulness. Why buy a hot dog for a thousand dollars when you can get the same one for a dollar?
Her spending habits are plain STUPID. That’s what’s offensive about it. She could hire a great personal trainer for $100 a day, and even that’s excessive. And she could eat out at the best, gourmet restaurants 3 times a day for under 300 dollars, and even that’s excessive.
She might as well have flushed the extra money she spent down the toilet. It’s not like she’s getting better quality of anything. At that point, why NOT donate it to charity?
I agree with your main point Smile, but it does seem a tad excessive. But yes, I don’t think we should bring charity into this! You can’t morally compel someone to donate, and it’s not their fault if they don’t, and it really doesn’t make them a bad person.

Her body is bangin but I doubt this is true. 800 dollars for a chef everyday… all you have to do is go see a nutritionist have them map up a plan for you and find a meal plan that delivers everywhere you go…if you cant have the food be delivered then you follow your diet and stay away from certain foods. And once every week you indulge As far as the personal trainer ….I guess it’s not that bad. Nevertheless It’s not my money and she does work really hard for her money. If I was Rihanna this isn’t a huge dent in my pocket considering that she made a reported 15 million dollars last year and when she makes a comeback after rated r shell make more!

Hmm yeah me too, I don’t work out at all, and my thighs are half her size, but you’ve got to understand that not everybody is built the same. There’s a certain point where you can’t improve your body any more, and I think she’s reached that. She’ll always have heavier thighs – it’s just her body type, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that although it isn’t my ideal because they are muscular and not fat.

Yes, agree. I am actually not a fan of pear shapes at all, but I’m really surprised at some of these comments. Sure, you may have a better body, but that doesn’t mean Rihanna can magically achieve a skinny hourglass, toned ruler, lollipop, etc. – she’s naturally born with thicker thighs. and besides, i really doubt the legitimacy of the report. but true or not, you may not like her body type, but don’t miss the subtle ‘perfections’ of her body. perfectly flat tummy, toned hips, no (or very little) cellulite, perky boobs, perky, lifted, round, and nicely sized butt, and a really nice muscle to fat ratio. you might not like that she is a ‘pear’ (though i might argue a less dramatic hour glass), but do not under estimate the work she puts into stay in shape!
I think some of these posts are VERY telling about what some women REALLY think about curves in this day & age. Look at Rihanna. She has no loose flesh jiggling all over the place. She has no love handles, she has no “spare tires”. Her stomach is even tight. All she has is a bottom and thick thighs, which are toned in the sense that her flesh doesn’t jiggle like jello, but you don’t really SEE much if any muscle definition. All she is is thick, as far as I have seen. And all I’m seeing is, “Well, I work out for cheaper and I look SO much better than her” or “She’s being ripped off! Her body needs some work!” or “I would want to look better than that” or, “I would understand if you’re a VS model, then you should pay that much, but really?” Come on now. Maybe SHE likes her results. Maybe she’s out for more of a Beyonce body, a woman who is thick but as you can see, B’s leg and booty hold together pretty darn nicely. Maybe it’d make more sense to say, “I think she could lose some weight” or “she’d be sexier if she had more muscle definition,” because that’s obviously what some people on here are thinking.

Most people on here seem to think that working out is all about becoming stick thin. Don’t any of you know that people also work out to put on weight? Yes that’s right. And some people work out for different desired results. Women like J Lo, Beyonce and Rihanna work out to keep their full figures and curves toned and lean, rather than to lose weight. Then you have Jessica Alba who works out to stay slim.
People here slate other people’s bodies like they’re judgements actually mean anything. The fact is that most celebs don’t have better bods than your everyday girl, true, but a lot of them look good and work hard at it. You may not like Rihanna’s body (i’m not fan of the girl as a musician but I like her body) but it’s certainly paying the rent so clearing she’s seeing a return on the (I do agree ludicrous) amount she’s spending on it
Word! Ethnicity also plays a role. It’s all about genetics and that is part of it. Some of us have to try harder. Bodies change when you get older. At 16, I was a 0. At 27, I’m an 8. I eat less than my friends and work out 3hrs/day, 5x/wk, but I’m still bigger. That’s just the way it is and I’m ok with that because I’m solid muscle and hella pretty (if I say so myself). I’d be pissed if someone told me I was wasting my time because it obviously wasn’t paying off or I’d be smaller. I have to work extra hard to fight whats engrained in my DNA.

I could believe a celeb spending hundreds of thousand, heck, even millions on themselves in the form of clothes, make-up, trainers, food, beauty treatments, you name it, but that one trainer and one cheff would be making that kind of money.. Rihanna is EXTREMELY hot and sexy and has one of the bangest bodies around so it totally makes sense. I was a personal trainer in one of the ritziest towns on the East Coast and NO ONE gets paid $1500 a day unless they’re performing lipo suction in between sets….
I’m not saying her body is unattractive or fat, but for that amount of money, you would expect dipped-in-bronze perfection. She’s everywhere these days. Ever since the Chris Brown thing she’s gotten the impression that people you know, actually CARE about her. All she wants to do is talk about herself.

1. Her body is going to play a role in her ability to keep her fans and her own celebrity going. Think Britney when she gained weight.
2. Her money, her choice. If she feels she needs to spend that much then who are we to say she can’t. If she wasn’t spending it that way, she would be spending it a different way.
3. Chances are, her chef is probably going to use quite a bit of food that is grown locally where ever she is as well as organically. So really she is also supporting local agriculture.
4. The money that is going to her chef and personal trainer is sure to be flowing downhill. Keep that in mind when you decide to bitch about her decisions. The money could indirectly be employing you, a friend, or family.
5. I don’t get why people always bring up charities. Do you spend EVERY extra penny you have on a charity? Doubt it. Think that charities for other countries are going to always be giving people jobs here? Doubt it. Take care of those at home first.
