Hotties Victoria Justice, Nicole Scherzinger, Lana Del Rey and Rihanna all showed up on the red carpet at the BRIT Awards 2012 at the O2 Arena last night – and their chosen outfits varied from short, leggy and black to red, long and glamorous.

I like Victoria Justice’s dress i want it ..
she is a really gorgeous girl.
Lana Del Rey- i like her music but the girl has no fashion sense and looks out of place in that dress.. it wears her not the other way round.

She’s famous for her incredible voice and unique songwriting. I like her style as well – not this dress though, but otherwise I think she’s very cool and beautiful. Fake lips or not.
If by incredible you mean bland and auto-tuned, and unique lyrics you mean cliched, inauthentic, and plain moronic if you actually listen to them.
She may have a good voice, but she is really not that special, she has no personality, I have seen some interviews, and she really rubs me the wrong way, her face is also rather plastic.
She is beautiful, no doubt about it, but her voice isn’t anything special. Her dad is one of the richest men in the US, soooo he kinda bought her a music career, that’s my understanding.
It’s so annoying that people blaming her for her dad being a rich person. Her previous record company denied any claims that her dad paid anything. I don’t understand why people hate rich people so much. Her unique deep voice, talent for writting and the fact the she made her first videos herself are things dad cannot buy you. So get over this.
I don`t think it`s harsh at all. She gave a seriously bad performance…I saw it – it was PAINFUL to watch and listen to. Being a musician is about ability and sorry but LIVE performance ability is essentially credibility in the music industry. I`m not saying it`s easy to perform live but it appears to me that she is putting more effort into getting her hair and make-up done and maintaining her lip injections than ensuring a stellar SINGING performance. Also I recently saw a couple of her videos bc I wanted to be fair before I made any opinions or judgements abt this newcomer. Please (!!!) do NOT call her original…she is a complete RIP OFF! OF JOHNNY CASH – the music via the, melodies, the way she sings, her “style“ of lyricism and her videos…and I don`t even know JCash well! I actually thought they might be covers of his tunes!
Seeing her around at fashion shows etc…I`m sorry but my gut is that she`s a fame whore…wants to be famous or be a part of Hollywood… etc…that`s NOT a true artist or musician…sorry but it`s my opinion and I`m sticking to it.
(i.e. I`m a massive Pearl Jam fan so ya, I`ll poop on every Creed and Nickelback fan out there…fakery just isn`t cool, well…not to me)
From what I’ve looked up there’s more flack than flattery on her. She tried to break into mainstream a few times, and people basically “NOPED!” hard at her.
So next, try the indie spin. Worked so so, and with enough promotion you’ll get somewhere. Then, when she finally has the chance to vindicate herself from all the ‘haters’, she eats it on SNL, and basically proves that everything people were saying about her is true.
There are probably tons of artists out there who are legit and talented, but don’t have the backng she does, and so they take 10 years getting their names out, and someone like Liz Grant comes along..
she was bad on snl but there many videos on youtube where she is amazing singing live. Even her old songs are amazing. So what if she failed to become popular at first?? So many famous singers and actors were rejected ten times before they got a chance and succeeded. If she wouldn’t be interesting and unique video games wouldn’t have watched Video Games. People are giving her so much criticism when Rihanna who has horrible voice, haven’t written a word for her lyrics, can’t dance, constantly exploit herself, imitates sexual behaviour on stage knowing that her main fans are very young is bestselling female artist and everybody seems so fine about that but when a girl with genuine skills, elegance and class comes without any poor little me story people call her fake. Awesome. I just noticed that if you don’t have any characteristics which would make people feel sorry for you like poor childhood, alcoholic father, being ugly at school, being avergae looking or fat that makes you down to earth with healthy attitute and sensible you innitialy lower your chances to be likeable.

Rihanna can sing 10x better, to boot, she had practically finished her first record at 15, and does more on stage than sway back and forth and run her fingers through her hair (lana). And frankly, I have no idea where people get the “emotional depth” of video games. There’s no point in saying “at least they write their own songs” if the songs they write are full of inane lyrics!
Lana Del Rey is the Ashlee Simpson of 2011. She’ll still be in the news, no doubt, but more likely for her personal life, her dresses, and posibly fluctuating lips/weight/ varying hairstyles

Cut her some slack. Give the girl a break. She’s worked hard enough to get a breakthrough. She can’t help it if her father’s rich; it’s just bad journalism to say he’s paid for her career.
Look at the facts – she’s widely popular on youtube etc.
I like Rihanna’s voice sure, but I like Lana’s (Lizzie’s) much better – my personal preference. That is just a matter of taste really.
The SNL performace was not good at all indeed, but every artist has ups and downs. She’s quite new and therefor not used to perform and giving big concerts yet. She becomes nervous – that just makes her human.

Agree, Neri and Gia. “Haters gonna hate” lol. I’ve watched a performance of hers, the SNL one, and it wasn’t that bad to me. I think she has a better voice than Rihanna by about a 1,000,000,000x because in my opinion, well ANYONE does. I say give the girl (Lana) a break.

I felt bad for her after all the flak she got after SNL. I tried watching her videos and…just…gave up. Her first song was alright,but the others sounded exactly the same. Then I read some of the things she’s said in interviews. I think the problem is that she’s been caught in a lot of obvious lies all at once. She said she couldn’t have afforded plastic surgery b/c she was living in a trailer park prior to getting a record deal (not true; her dad is a millionaire, she went to an exclusive Connecticut boarding school). Also not true, as earlier pictures/videos of her prove she had a nose job and lip implants. She also claimed that she edited her first couple of music videos herself, and that she’s ‘embarrassed’ by them–there’s just no way. (Even splicing together tons of vintage clips takes quite a bit of know-how and expensive software.) And the videos were made AFTER she had a record deal, which is not what she led people to believe. She also claims to have written all her songs, but she had co-writers helping her on the album. There are a bunch of inconsistencies and I think the controversy is that she’s hardcore trying to prove that she’s indie, authentic, etc, when in reality, she’s just another manufactured teen star.
I personally just think her music is tired and her face looks…off.

Yeah, she pretty much sucks. I also gave her a try on youtube, to be fair. But even in her official videos where things should be polished and perfect, her voice is very pitchy, as Randy would say. There is also nothing remarkable about her songs, musically or lyric-wise.

Lana Del Rey is famous for being beautiful and talented. Yeah she screwed up her SNL performance – big time. But her lyrics are genuine and her voice in all other performances is fantastic.
I love Victoria’s dress too but her hair looks like a rat died on her head. All of the others’ dresses seem sort of ill-fitting. And Rihanna, Joan Collins wants her dress back.

OMG I don’t know even where to start. I like her music and I like her personally because I got to see her singing life actually and she is stunning young woman. I think she looks great here so does Victoria but I prefer her because I like her as an artist as well.

I don’t care much for Nicole’s dress – as for her face, something seems to be terribly off with it.. like she was drunk, high or idk.. she also looks worn out & older. baaaad look.
I looove Lana’s music & personality, not so much her looks. I know very well that it’s her lips that bug many people, for me though it’s her big elf ears that are the strange/less attractive part on her face. red looks stunning on her.

I agree the first girl looks great, but let’s get some perspective here. She was born in 1993; Nicole S in 1978. So, yeah, she’s going to look older. But I would argue that without a doubt, Nicole S is more naturally beautiful than Victoria.
oh, not a single word of mine said it was a bad thing Nicole looked older than Victoria.. i didn’t even compare her to Victoria, i actually compared her to her other red carpet looks, on which her face looked muchmuchmuch better/more beautiful/more relaxed IMO. most of the times I find her facial features exotic, unique & attractive.

I was usually not a big fan of Rihanna, but lately she looks fantastic. I love the style/color of her hair, and she really toned up. I think she looks great and exudes a lot of confidence. I don’t think this dress is really classless at all. The gloves may be a little much to some people but I like them.
Wow, Lana Del Rey sure has a polarizing effect on people! I am one of the lovers as I really like her aesthetic; It’s like Hollywood noir with a modern twist. She gets a lot of slack for not being “real”, for fronting a carefully contructed image. But that’s exactly what makes her so intriguing imo. I think Victoria looks great, am not sure about the hair but it doesn’t look awful to me. Nicole’s close-up is really pretty but that dress is a bit matronly. She never seems to get it right that girl. Rihanna’s dress is not flattering from the front but I kinda like her updo. Victoria Justice is pretty, but generic. She looks like a lot of other generic young Hollywood brunettes these days – eg. Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Nina Dobrev. I don’t really like her dress in that picture, but her hair and makeup look pretty cool.
I always thought Nicole Scherzinger has an average face but a pretty good body. I can understand why some people would find her attarctive, but she doesn’t appeal to me. Her dress is ok, the colour suits her.
I don’t really know Lana Del Rey, but she looks good. She has a beautiful face and her dress suits her. She looks the best to me and I find her the most attractive out of the lot.
Rihanna’s dress is ok but the shoes and gloves don’t work with it. I also think the colour of the dress doesn’t work that well for her.

Victoria Justice is so. fking. gorgeous. I actually really like this dress on her- instead of dressing like every young hollywood starlet (think light colors in flowing shapes), this dress makes her stand out. Although I think that her hair should’ve been made up more sleek, this dress is pure perfection on her.
