British men have voted the star ‘the woman they’d most like to marry’
The Lovely Bones star Rachel Weisz, who won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2005 for The Constant Gardener, was voted “the woman that men would most like to marry” in a survey by Esquire magazine.
The gorgeous actress, who turns 40 this year, is engaged to The Wrestler director Darren Aronofsky, with whom she has a three-year-old son Henry.
“Oh my God! To marry? That’s interesting. That’s so funny. I’m marriable, but I’m not married. I was getting worried that the men didn’t like me anymore!”

Rachel Weisz has the allure that Sharon Stone or Jessica Biel do on this side of the pond. I saw her movie The Fountain, and was impressed with how she was made for the silver screen, as they are. One look at that photo
convinces me she’ll need armed guards for at least another 20 years.
I’m so happy to see Rachel on these pages! I think she’s near perfect- The face, body, everything. I’d kill to look like that now, let alone 40!

Oh she’s pretty. That’s reason enough for most people I take it. Unless we are missing a huge piece of contextual information this just makes a whole bunch of people look like idiots.
At first I was thinking ‘but you don’t even know her’ but then I remembered that these polls are based on the information people have at hand.
It’ll be based on her looks and how’s she’s presented in the media. She has a pretty clean down-to-earth image and she tends to play women that are smart with humour, so i’m guessing that’s why she appeals to men, in terms of marriage.
I take relationships seriously so i don’t understand polls like this. I wouldn’t even answer such a question.

This poll isn’t serious. As you pointed out, all you really have to base your decision on is looks. These are done by the media because everyone’s obsessed with ranking and they generate a lot of interest.
It’s just for entertainment, not meant to be taken seriously.
Men are so dumb. She has brown hair, that means she’d be a good wife!
There are a lot of beautiful women out there, so it ‘s not this that makes her exceptional. It’ s her talent, her calm personality and the fact that she has found her true identity as a person. People understand these things subconsciously.
A normal man would never want to marry a hysterical, arrogant person full of meanness, even if she was gorgeous.

I really like the fact that she accepted the compliment, joked about it, instead of feeling the need to say something like, “Oh no, there are plenty of other women that should have been chosen.” Women who put themselves down to appear modest after getting ranked top of something is getting old. I love confidence and humor.

She’s probably “The Most Marriable” because she is smart, talented, down to earth, and classy. Also she doesn’t go around flashing her lady bits, guys tend to like women like that and have respect for them. Not just liking her because she’s “hot” but because she also knows how to carry/handle herself.
