“A part of the reason I did Playboy was because there’s been so much controversy with my body,” she tells ET. “I wanted to show everyone, ‘Okay, look at it — this is what it looks like. Leave me alone now.’ And I’m really happy with it. When I went down [Diddy's] carpet and the dress fell, I just had my first surgery so I didn’t even feel it … It was a botched surgery so I really wouldn’t want anyone to see that,” she explains. “Then I got a better one and I got healed and I’m good now. But no one wants to say that I’m healed or good. They always want to show that bad picture from 10 years ago.”

I’m happy to hear that Tara is happy with her body now – but if so, why the overly-plastic effects, the doll-like skin, the drawing-like body, the lack of shaddows?

What a joke. Here we go again; i wonder how much until the first commenter to say there is not much photoshop in this and that we are all jealous and do not want to admit how beautiful and perfect Tara is, comes up.

She has NEVER had nice muscley thighs like those, lol, and her boobs aren’t perky either. And what’s with her face, it looks like Jenna Jamieson or whatever that porn actress’s name is.
She has always been a walking advertisement AGAINST plastic surgery. If looking like that is the risk, I’d rather have a bit of a tummy.
Not to get off the topic, but have you guys heard that Brittany Murphy died from cardiac arrest? The rumor is it has to do with her alleged anorexia.

I actually wanted to post about this as a comment on that article about her that was up here a couple of weeks ago, where so many people said she looked sick. I guess no one wanted this to be the proof of the fact that she actually was sick. Poor her… RIP

Her stomach looks SO freakish in that last picture. And what is she talking about “pictures from ten years ago”? She was looking horrible and lumpy just LAST year. Honestly, I’m really curious to have seen this shoot from the photographer’s point of view– I bet it was hard to keep from throwing up after cottage cheesy thighs and lumpy stomach was all he/she saw through the lens.

The saddest part is my boyfriend brought this Playboy shoot up when we were watching a Tara Reid film, and told me that her corrective surgeons did an amazing job because her body looks flawless compared to before.
…I had to spend a good 10 minutes explaining to him that what he sees is not necessarily reality. He really couldn’t grasp that all magazine images are Photoshopped, and that women don’t actually look like that. It was kind of irritating. I hope most men aren’t that gullible

but seriously it wasn’t the bad boob job(common to many d -list celebs) it was your porridge belly. You seriously looked better before. Obviously you did learn anything from your mistakes because you thought the answer to bad sugery was MORE sugery.Why take that risk again?, especially when you know you will look nothing like your former self. no more sugery, and take out those ridiclous boobs. have work done on the inside for once. and stop trying to justify your mistakes. Just agree you made a mistake, end of argument. After you admit your wrongs, what esle can some one say?
When you keep denial, the public wil jsut want to prove you wrong.
One thing you can count on when your career’s a train wreck and you have no more money you’ll do a Playboy shoot. But not that there’s anything wrong with it. I’m looking forward to a bit of a perv in this one and to the Britney Spears one in coming years.

well… I do feel sorry for her – I think she is just a bit mixed up. No one poses in any nudie mag for a “higher cause”… as nudie mags are sleazy. They pose in nudie mags for the CASH.
As for the photoshop – I’m certain most photos are worked upon before beingppublished in print or on the web – so big deal.
Tara is a pretty girl with our without P.S. Can any one elaborate as to why people are so down on her?? Is there something I missed? Do people hate her because she is too blonde? Too Tan?? or both ?
