This is not good… why not just walk down the runway naked.
I actually do believe it and am not surprised. I think it is common for women who have insecurities about themselves to dress in a very revealing way as to deflect from the areas they are insecure about. She may think that because her boobs and butt are out that everyone will only pay attention to that and won’t notice whatever she thinks is wrong with her body. I have just seen this before where girls I know are actually extremely insecure but dress very provocatively.
I agree… and get lots of plastic surgery like she did.
agreed… with jenna and mariah… Ok, she doesnt love her body, but how come she loves her face? LOL this women is horrible
i agree, and i also think that if they dress this way and ‘show off’ their bodies then they get validation from other people (men especially) which will give them a false sense of security with their body short term…i think its the same with most mens mag models, i think there will be some that love their body and show it off and then some that dont and show it off to get that validation and attention and feel good

It does make me want to roll my eyes a bit. I mean, if I wasn’t confident about my body, I would cover up as much as possible. I know my friend who has had problem with herself despises summer because she has to wear a bathing suit.
But I suppose each person has their own way of dealing w/ insecurities.
Yes I think both extremes are very common. It is very common to feel so uncomfortable so you cover everything up, but many go to the other extreme of just showing everything so no one will pay attention to their flaws because they will be too busy looking at their boobs/butt.

I think you can interpret her statement in many ways. I would think the two most common would be…
1) She’s telling the truth. Sometimes some insecure people show off their bodies way too much.
2) She’s digging for compliments.
But do you think she *needs* compliments? From who? I’m sure she’s sick to death of hearing people tell her how hot she is.

I think that she looks soo good for her age and if she wants to show that off then who are we to judge? Just because she’s wearing something revealing doesn’t mean she can’t be insecure about her body. I mean seriously, chill out.

Showing off her body earns her money, that’s why she does it. I do believe she’s insecure about her body and those insecurities may be the reason why she has changed so much through the years (fake boobs, plumper lips and God knows what else)
She is seeking for attention. It is a kind of very popular now for pretty women (from all “the prettiest”, “the sexiest” lists) to talk about how not pretty they feel themselves (like last post of Ann Hathaway). Come on, for many many years she used to be the most googled woman (I have no idea why because not a fan of blonds with huuuuge boobs at all, but many men like it soooo), how dare she to say that now???
The only thing really bad about her body is her plastic surgery. Otherwise she seems perfectly well-off for her age. I wouldn’t say absolutely spectacular, but definetly not bad either.
But how you look to other people isn’t how you look to yourself, and she could well indeed not like her body. Why else did she get several breast implants and other work done? Doesn’t sound like a confident woman to me.
Btw, I wanted to add I used to really like her in her VIP days. I think around that time she only had minor plastic surgery and a boob job. She over did it, in my opinion.
i agree with your comment about her not sounding confident. I also liked her in VIP days, I loved her in early baywatch too! I think she had fairly big natural boobs back then! I mean, not huge, but great rack for a skinny girl, im sure they were full c’s or d’s at least. Also, i cant help but love her. she has always had great legs
As far as i know, she already had the implants during Baywatch days. She certainly had them in VIP.
when i’m very insecure, i use tons of make up! and everytime it is too much! You know, so that everybody is more looking at me….it’s not, that it looks bad….it’s catching more attention!!! Isn’t it ironic! And when I’m really secure about myself…I’m more and more natural! But I think, everybody has the same “problems”!
So I think, there is a little truth in that, what pam is saying!
me too in regards to using more makeup and also less clothes when insecure =o) but sometimes it can go the other way and i wear heaps of clothes and no make up and dont brush my hair just put it in a pnytail (when i am feeling depressed and fat)
Meh, i don’t know what to say, maybe she is insecure, maybe she isn’t. What bothers me is that there is this trend to act all insecure and dish your body. If one hollywood b/c/d list celebrity does something like this, than they ALL have to do it. You just cannot trust them, what is truthful and what is marketing strategy/publicity stunt.

I’ve never found her to be attractive, just generic and over the top. Her implants are hideous. As for her comments, I would assume that she has a confidence problem. Look at her outfits! I find that most women who dress like this have self esteem and confidence issues. Nothing new…

I think she is beutiful, everbody seem to hate her but she seems so sweet, nice and caring person that i dont care if her boobs are too big, i think she is pretty inside and out

I love Pam too! Sure she looks a little skanky, but she used to write a really great column in feminist magazine Jane magazine- really thoughtful stuff. She’s also a huge proponent of animal rights, so I gotta love her for that. Plus, I have a weakness for rock ‘n’ roll guys, so I really sympathize with her there!

I’m getting pretty tired of celebrities who dress minimally,
and say ”Oh I’m really not confident at all, I hate my body… Did you get a good picture of my boobs?”
Sure, there are two ‘extremes’; those who cover up, and those who dress like this.
But if you hate it, start dressing in a way that will flatter your body and make you feel better,
instead of dressing like a certain way and just talking about it.
I’m sure she has more than enough money to hire a stylist.

oh i love gok! I love the way he approaches things. He never tells women ‘look this is what you should hide’…he says ‘well i know your not happy withyour tummy so we can hide that and show off your fab legs/ boobs/ hips’ or whatever. Like, he never confirms what women hate about their body! he never says ‘yeah your right, you should hide that tummy’. like Trinny and Susanna do. i used to love them now i feel they have lost it
When I feel insecure about my body I layer it like a Superbowl bean dip.
