Nikki Reed on ‘Eclipse’ Training: ‘We literally felt like athletes’

Twilight actress Nikki Reed recently opened up about the hard training regimen the cast had to follow in order to get in perfect shape for ‘Eclipse’:
“It was very physically demanding – I remember getting off the airplane and getting my schedule and on my schedule it said, ‘I hope the cast brought sneakers and tomorrow you will be picked up for training’, and no one told us about this, we weren’t prepared for this.
“Every single day if we weren’t shooting, we were in fight training for two or three hours a day and then we were in personal training. We literally felt like athletes. It was like sleep, train, eat and sleep again – that was the day.”

I could care less about her comments but she has a beautiful skin tone. That dress color really suits her but if only it didn’t look shredded at the bottom.

me too! i don’t think she suits to play rosalie. she looks SO weird as a blonde
agreed, plus she doesn’t have that hotness factor that Rosalie was described as having in the book. Actually, this would have the been the one role well suited for an actual super model, because there is hardly any talking involved. it literally requires sitting around looking pretty (and angry).
She is definitely different from the appearance described in the book, however her firey temper is right on, for me anyways.
i wish they’d only cast supermodels for all the roles. i don’t find a single one of the chosen actors pretty (or to be good actors), and it’s simply laughable to compare them to the vampires described in the books.

I think nikki is pretty when she looks like herself, but think
she looks awkward in twilight as Rosalie. Some people just don’t look right blonde. I think she only got cast because Catherine hardwicke also directed thirteen and was probably pulling for her. I second they should have just hired some hot model. Rosalie has like 8 lines. Anyone could pull it off. The whole thing about Rosalie’s character is her extreme blonde gorgeousness.
Nikki looks really pretty here though. I love her dress with that bronzed skin.

In addition to the 13 connection (which Nikki and Catherine cowrote), Nikki’s dad is Catherine Hardwicke’s ex-boyfriend.
The colour of the dress is amazing and suits her tanned skin really well!
She looks great as Rosalie. i think the pale skin with blonde hair is hot. A vapid super model would have just ruined the movie.

The dress does nothing for her uppr body, makes her shoulders look wider and isn’t making her boobs look like much of anything.
well not necessarily shoulders but the area above her waist looks oddly wider. but like I said it’s just the dress.

She was sooo beautiful to me in ‘Thirteen’ but granted she was alot younger. Here she’s still pretty but not as WOW.
I haven’t seen much of Nikki’s work, but personally I think she’s absolutely gorgeous. I find her to be the prettiest female out of the “Twilight” girls. Though to me they are all attractive.
I don’t know what it is, but there is just something about her. When I see her, though she doesn’t really look like her she reminds me of Kate Winslet. Something about her personality. I like her.
And yes, I find her pretty enough to be Rosalie.
P.S. “Thirteen” was actually a memior Nikki wrote about her own life. Rachel Evan Wood’s character was actually her. Just a tid bit.
If you read interviews that Nikki gave, she actually said that it wasn’t really about her, but about what was happening at her school. She said she would be more of Evan Rachel Wood’s character.

She was also handed the role in Lords Of Dogtown because Catherine directed that one. I really don’t like her as Rosalie, especially since she said she had to bleach both her skin and hair to play the role. That’s just going too far.
Nikki Reed needs to do more acting, she was great in 13 and as far as her Twilight role goes the role is what it is. Even in the book shes not a lead role which is why people don’t remember her and I do think she suits it because she has a classical beauty and grace about her. Besides none of the women look like themselves when in character especially Esme and the other one…cannot remember her name. I hope we see more of her, shes got a beautiful face and body. And she’s been training so hard thats why shes more toned….
