Victoria’s Secret Angels Made a New Video Ad… and Transformer’s Michael Bay directed it.
Obviously, there’s lots of lacey lingerie in it, all the Angels, sexy poses, explosions, undressing and power music to go with it all.

Hahaha explosions and action to sell underwear – just to bring it back down to reality, just because you buy the lingerie doesn’t mean your gonna look like the VS angels! You could make a really good skit of this ad…
I actually think this is one of the best Christmas VS commercials…except for that one with Adriana Lima/Bob Dylan. This is VS style…excessively, surreal-y sexy.
Alessandra, Doutzen and Rosie really stood out. Gorgeous girls!

Definitely made by men, for men, in an attempt to get guys to buy their ladies sexy underthings…. Not that I’m knocking it, because it was kinda sexy and fun in a delightfully over-the-top sort of way. =) I would personally prefer all the girls about 10 pounds heavier, but that aside…they looked pretty fantastic.

Alessandra..well..I always thought she was gorgeous but in this pic along with another one when she was laughing as well..she looks weird and not pretty at all..this proves that some VS models are made to look stunning in lengerie..but in real life with normal clothes,they do not look anything special..my god..why did I have to get so disappointed about Alessandra? the first time I saw a bikini pic of her, I thought..wow gorgeous
I think it might just be a bad photo. To be honest none of their faces look good in that picture, when in reality all of them are beautiful. I don’t think you should be disappointed with Ale just yet; I’ve heard she’s gorgeous in real life.
I totally agree with you on Candice though, she has “the look.” Hard to describe but it’s like an effortless sexy face.
Know what you mean about the photo, they all look kinda weird except Doutzen… The best photo chosen is with the thickest girl looking the best facial position/expression…coincidence?
Versus I know this is totally off subject but how much do you think Doutzen/Bar Rafaeli/Daniella Sarahyba weigh I don’t know if your familiar with her. Maybe if you want to and have time you should post some pics of her.

It’s very hard to estimate their weight, I might be off, but I will give my best shot:
Doutzen is 5’10” – so maybe around 135-145 lbs (because she is very toned).
Bar’s weight oscillates a little – she is 5’8.5”, so maybe around 130 these days (she was skinnier though)?
I will keep Daniella in mind!

To me, even Doutzen’s face doesn’t look that good. It’s like the bottom half of her face is round and too big for the top half. I know she doesn’t look like that, it’s just a bad photo.
I wonder if VS is going to renew her contract. A lot of people who work for VS/know people in VS say that Miranda and Doutzen’s contracts are in jeopardy.
Really Doutzen and Miranda? I wonder why? It seems so strange for Miranda to be cut because it seemed she was one of the main “Angels”.
I have to admit I am not a huge Doutzen fan. I think she is pretty but I like the skinny-toned models more – Alessandra, Marissa, Izabel ect. But I think it is great she is an Angel, it’s good to have models of different sizes for other people.

No I don’t. I was shocked as well, to be honest. I thought they both had a strong fan base and sold well.
I got the info on The Fashion Spot. You have to be part of the fashion industry to be a member on that forum, so I’m sure it’s somewhat credible. The VS workers have said the following:
1 Angel will definitely be leaving soon (I’m guessing Heidi). Other Angels’ contracts are in jeopardy. Since Ale and Adriana resigned their contracts for 5 years, and Marisa for 3 years, it leaves Doutzen and Miranda, especially since their contracts are about to expire.
I also think there’s truth to it because Doutzen and Miranda haven’t been asked to do many promotions lately. The same thing happened with Izabel, Selita and Karolina when they left.
I hope it’s all just rumors though, or at least, I hope VS decides to renew their contracts. I personally like Ale the best, but I like Miranda and Doutzen as well and don’t want them to leave just yet. I do want to see Heidi go, I think it’s time for her to leave gracefully.

But anyway, they might be cutting one girl to make room for the new VS Angel Kylie Bisutti. I mean, it make sense I guess… I have a feeling that Heidi will probably be the next one to leave for sure. Haha can you imagine if Heidi ended up staying AGAIN while Miranda and Doutzen were the one’s let go hahaha at the rate she going it’s like she is never going to leave!
I’m with you on Ale being your fav, same with me. She is captivating! And hopefully Miranda and Doutzen can stick around for a while longer, I actually hope Doutzen stays over Miranda. I just think she adds more variety to the Angels. Guess we will just have to wait and see…at least we have Ale for 5 more years

I hope they’re not cutting any of the Angels for Kylie. Aside from the fact that I didn’t like the Model Search, I REALLY didn’t like Kylie as the winner. She looks too Playboy for me to appreciate her as a VS model. I’d much rather have Candice/Rosie/etc as a new Angel over her anyday.
But amen to your Ale comment. No matter who leaves or stays or what happens, we’ll still have Ale for another 5 years!
Oh and you’re right about Heidi. Tyra did it the right way: she left at the peak of her career so her post-modeling endeavors were successful. If Heidi continues to stay, by the time she leaves she’ll already be washed up and then she’ll be another one of those outdated supermodels. I think she should leave while she still has VS fame supporting her. Every year people talk about her less and less unless she’s having babies or Project Runway is airing a new season.
Besides, she’s already a millionaire! Give another girl a chance, Heidi!

They actually do look like a child’s legs. And please, before anyone starts patronizing me, i am not saying she looks like a child, but that her tinnie tiny legs look like a child’s one, when wearing jeans.
