Megan Fox Shares Some Tips
January 4, 2010 in Megan Fox by Versus

On why she uses balsamic vinegar to clear her system and maintain her figure:
“It just cleanses out your system entirely. It will get rid of, for women who retain water weight from your menstrual cycle and all that, it gets rid of it really fast.”
“I’m not one for dieting or exercising, ’cause I’m lazy and I have a really big sweet tooth, so I have to do cleanses every once in a while ’cause of the amount of sugar I take in.”
… says Megan.

WOW this quote is so old. And she most likely does not take in a large amount of sugar (anymore). She has definitely leaned out a lot from when she was in ‘Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen’, it just doesn’t happen magically.
Gosh she is SO hot. I really like her body, it reminds me of my own!
LOL! WOW you’re sooo modest too!
There is nothing wrong with working hard and taking care of your body, and being proud of it. All I said is hers remind me of my own – which it does. You have some sort of problem?
I was just giving you a hard time. Relax. I’m proud of my body too btw, I just don’t announce it.
stating her body reminds me of my own = announcing it (?)
The sarcasm doesn’t help, it just exposes the fact that you are bothered because I relate my body to hers. Why else comment?
Maybe is more woman announced it others would start to feel good about themselves too.
We live in a society where it’s looked down upon to believe you are attractive, even gorgeous celebrity have to say they hate their flaws in order to be ‘one of us’.
Keira Knightley saying she had a bi
Sorry – got cut off.
Anywho – when celebs they hate their thighs or tummy it doesn’t make anyone else feel better about themselves.
Actually, you pretty much said, She is so hot, she looks just like me! That’s a pretty conceited thing to say so don’t get all pissy when someone calls you out on it.
Agreed.
Wow no need to jump all over me. I have seen other posters say just what I have said about other celebs figure – how they are hot and remind them of their own body. But when it’s “Megan Fox” all of a sudden I am conceited?
Now reading over my comment I see how people could take it as conceited, but I in no way meant it to be that way, “calling myself SO hot”. Not at all! I was merely relating my body with hers as I have the exact same proportions and tiny waste. Nothing more nothing less.
if one celebs has HOT body and you claimed her body like yours, then almost no one happy to hear that . But if one celeb has like fat, chunky body then you claim yourself has the same fat body like that,i bet no body here will hurt ,LOL;D
*sorry,im not native english speaker*
Agree. And some people here will turn blue claiming about how they’re not insecure or jealous. I see nothing offensive in Alias’ comment, and that kind of comment has been made many times without anyone attacking the commentor’s modesty, so I don’t know why it’s different here other than the fact that Megan Fox is very attractive and people percieve that as threatening.
well and some people turn blue claiming about how modest they are
nobody doubts that alias’ bod is beautiful, but the first comment was just laughing at her nonexistent modesty.
I totally disagree.
I hate it when someone says a celebrity has a chunky/fat body and it reminds them of themselves. It just reminds me what high standards girls have and that the commenter would probably think I was chunky too.
I agree. She’s got an awesome body. But the girl in your avatar reminds me more of my body (Alessandra Ambrosio) than Megan. And I’m proud and don’t give a crap if people think I’m conceited. I’ve worked REALLY hard to feel this awesome about myself! And I’m allowed to feel good about it! No one should have insecurities.
I’m glad no one else thinks my comment was conceited! :]
susie you must have a sexy body, Ale is hot
why thank you
I bet yours is pretty sexy too. ha
I never think anyone should feel bad about themselves and I hope women feel good about the body their in. It wasn’t about that. Sorry. I just was giving you a hard time about the comment and didn’t mean to start controversy. My girlfriends and I tease each other all the time and I guess it doesn’t translate in writting.
You shouldn’t have insecurites, I agree. I never said that anyone should.
um. the insecure ones are the ones who feel the need to post on silly forums about how their bodies look just like those of celebrities.
seriously, i dont know why in US we have to say we are ugly to not be pronounced egoistical. i know im pretty(with things to work on like lose few more lbs, i’m real about it) and i dont see why i need to deny it
:/ why cant we just love ourselves! alias cool that you look like her
i would too but im more of an apple
Nobody has to say he/she is ugly. On the other hand it’s ridiculous to say I’m so hot and gorgeous and even if you are, people will just laugh at you.
Leave the others to comment on your looks, because modesty is a great quality of someone’s character.
And who on this post said “I’m so hot and gorgeous”?
Why is it that when people say, “Oh Britney’s body reminds me of my own” or “America Ferrara’s body reminds me of my own” or “Rihanna’s body reminds me of my own,” no one brings up modesty or bragging?
But when the comparison is to Megan Fox, all of a sudden, modesty is in question?
Weird considering how many people complain about Megan Fox’s looks, and how many people say that Britney/America/Rihanna are attractive.
It’s not bad that she compared her body to Megan Fox. It’s the fact that she preceded that comment with, gosh she is SO hot! I don’t think it was intentional, but saying you think someone is hot then saying you look just like them definitely doesn’t sound very humble.
Just to be clear, Megan was speaking in reference to “apple cider vinegar” NOT “balsamic vinegar” as a means of detox and cleanse. They are very different. But she is right, I drink ACV in water all the time and it does wonders for bloat and a million other things that ail you.
I always wondered if it worked, but was too grossed out to try it myself. Do you know what other benefits it has? I heard it also suppresses the appetite.
It’s actually very good for managing stomach acid.
What about weight loss? I just read that online. Do you or anyone else have personal experience?
I drink ACV Honey and water every morning since I often retained a lot of water and my grandma adviced me to try it. It basically got rid of my swollen ankles and helped me a lot to get rid of cellulite too. But then again that might be just me, don’t know If it could apply to anyone.
I never noticed it surpressed the appetite or helped me to loose weight but it’s good to clean out your system and my blood circulation got better too. But I guess it’s no weight loss miracle ^^.
Oh and what’s with all the Megan Fox headlines recently ? If this keeps going we’ll soon need a “Megan Fox free day” as well
I don’t know. I’ve never had serious issues losing weight once I cut back a bit on what i was eating. I couldn’t say really because i’ve never used it for anything like that. i do retain water but I just give it a good week and it does away. I have IBS too so I’ve given up on having a stomach worth looking at.
Nor do i care about that sort of thing. I don’t like pools or public places where people can look at me.
Thanks everyone. I gained way too much weight over the holidays and need every help I can get to lose the extra weight (in addition to eating right etc).
Thanks for clearing that up! When i read this I thought, “Wow- she really IS stupid!”. Balsamic is loaded with sugar and sodium but ACV is great for so many things, including fat loss and detoxing.
Know what will work? Expending more than you consume. Other then that you’re out of luck.
ACV may be good for you, but it won’t make you loose weight. Not really. There is nothing to sustain it.
And, really? Think about it. If ACV was really such a great cure for puffiness and cellulite don’t you think it’d be marketed to death and cost a lot more than it does now?
One word: Placebo.
i totally agree. jesus its not that hard to lose weight. do it the right way – i.e eat properly and exercise regularly – and it will happen. all these diets and so called ‘tricks’ are pathetic.
I didn’t say I want to use ACV as the only weight loss tool. I wanted to know if it would be a boost to losing weight in addition to eating healthy etc. I mentioned this in one of my above posts.
I asked a question and people answered to the best of their knowledge. There’s nothing to get bent out of shape about.
I never said it’s a wonder cure either … all I wanted to point out is that it can be a great addition to a healthy livestyle and helps you get rid of all the rubbish your body has accumulated during the years. It doesn’t help you lose fat – but it get’s rid of toxins. And that’s all I want from it.
Use it in combination with a healthy balanced diet and regular sports activities as well as some dry brushing or something. Drinking it everymorning and hoping that the fat will melt away will of course clearly not work.
I HATE how no one can right something on here without having to defend everything they said. People need to chill out and stop taking out their issues on strangers.
*write not right.
I think she’s one of the most beautiful people out there. The stuff she says is always hilarious, but I think she only says it for shock value.
I agree! She is one of the only people who can make Plastic look FANTASTIC.
I’ve never tried ACV, but heard it’s really good.
Her thumbbbb hahahahahahaha I’m sorry makes me laugh everytime.
She is beautiful though
I didn’t even notice it. I’d settle for that thumb if it meant I’ll look like that
Yeah I think everyone else would.. She’s perfection, even with a weird looking thumb.
agree haha
What’s wrong with her thumb? will someone please tell me I’ve read before people’s comments where they make fun of her thumb and I keep staring at it and I don’t see anything wrong, is it because its to the side, short and chubby? idk LOL someone tell me
she has like really stubby, short thumbs. google it there are articles about it. how i know that? i don’t know. but yeah, who really cares about her thumbs, she’s gorgeous!!!
Yeah her thumb ends at the middle of a regular fingernail.. So it looks weird but with a face and body like hers who cares?
ill try it
I have heard ACV is good for you and I have always wanted to give it a go. Megan must have a good metabolism to stay slim, because I definitely agree with her about the lack of exercise thing. Unretouched photos show that her body is quite soft. It’s one of the two things that I like about Megan actually- that that she embraces her fair skin and feminine softness.
http://www.megansafox.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=362&pos=36
I do think that she can only pull off the lack of tone thing though because she is slim and well proportioned. For most women, a little tone looks best
Even without the photoshop she still looks wow. I think the whole squinty eye thing is silly though
I would not recommend ACV to anyone. I had never had a cavity before in my life until I started drinking a few tbsp every day for a few months. In the end my teeth were nearly rotting out of my head. It’s WAY too acidic.
Hm, I thought it was only recommended to take “One” tablespoon a day mixed with one glass of water. I do that since half a year and so far n problems.
I agree , more than that could probably be fatal. I’m sorry that you had to go through that. Did it get better with time ?
I have a read that it’s a tablespoon with water before each meal? Who knows with all this “health” stuff- every website says something different. I think all we can do is try out something for ourselves and see if our body likes it or not. What might not work for one person, might work for another and vice versa…
True
You never know what to go along with. I used the advice on the ACV bottle and quite honestly … it’s nasty to drink it once a day let alone 3 or 4 times *yuck* But you are right what works for ne doesn’t have to work for another.
She’s so beautiful! PERFECT face and body!
Oh- and you can find ACV in tablet form- you can take 1 or 2 with each meal.
I’m going to have to look for it. I don’t think I can do the ACV and water.
I love you Megan you are the best =)))
Vinegar is not a diuretic therefore it couldn’t possibly remove retained water. It’s not in its chemical properties. If you want to treat water retention, use caffeine, it’s a natural diuretic.
Also, the only way to remove sugar from the body is via insulin. Vinegar couldn’t possibly remove sugar from anything. Again, it is not one of its properties.
Drinking vinegar may have other benefits, but I hope no one choses to consume it for the above reasons.
I hate when celebrities spread pseudoscience and folk remedies. Such bs, but it’s even worse that people chose to blindly believe it instead of looking it up on scientific journals before trying it.
Ha. Great comment. Megan Fox should know what she’s talking about before she talks! I just poured myself a glass of water w/ 2 tbsp of raw ACV. I’ll let you know if it kicks in anytime soon
We’re having a little experiment here?
Yes- I love experiments and I am certainly holding extra water weight! So far, no results. I’ll keep you all posted
I just tried it. I had to force it down, and I still couldn’t drink the whole thing. I think I’ll stick with my old methods.
Dr. Truth let us know your results! I’m curious!
ACV is great for heartburn though. It neutralizes the acid in the stomach, thus reducing bloat that is caused from stomach gas.
ACV is an acid. it wouldn’t make sense that an acid reduces an acid. Bases (alkaline) reduce acidity. This is why most antacids are in fact Alkaline. What makes more sense is that most people have low stomach acid.
I don’t remember my chemistry *too* well, but a weak acid in the presence of a strong acid acts as a weak base.
So vinegar (weak acid) in the presence of stomach acid (strong acid) would cause the creation of the conjugate base of vinegar, which would be a strong base, and that would neutralize surrounding stomach acid to form a salt.
I haven’t looked this up so I don’t know if it happens in reality, but in theory it does.
I agree. I work in supplements and one of the best selling products for acid reflux and heartburn is Betain Hcl- or Hydrocholoric ACID!!
I looked it up, you are correct to a certain degree. From what i’ve read this wouldn’t be true for all acid-acid combos. I was mainly asking a question more than anything. I just forgot to use the right punctuation.
Amen.
Bout time we had some science up in here.
Not exactly a scientific journal, but interesting nonetheless. http://www.webmd.com/diet/apple-cider-vinegar?page=2
1995 science study by Benini:
“The results suggest that oral acetic acid and acetate might have a different effect on acetataemia and that a limited dose of vinegar, in the form of salad dressing, is sufficient to influence significantly the glycaemic response to a mixed meal in normal subjects by a mechanism related to acidity but not to gastric emptying.”
Translation: It increases the acidity of the blood which temporarily makes glucose levels decrease. However, it doesn’t actually get rid of the sugar, by “detox.”
Other studies show no difference from placebo.
I do think vinegar in moderation can offer many health benefits. Lowering blood sugar is just not one of them.
She looks great! With or without makeup, with or without plastic.
Haha she doesn’t exercise or diet? Goes against so many celebs, but that’s cool haha. :]
Is ACV readily available at supermarkets?
its so funny that the girl who played Precious got some much crap on this board because she said she loved her body even though she is obese, yet Megan who is clearly unhealthy is lauded for being so beautiful and perfect. Just because someone is not overweigt doesn’t mean they are healthy. This girl eats crap, doesn’t exercise and then starves herself using cleanses….and this is what we aspire to…sad.
I agree with you that the girl form Precious shouldn’t have gotten crap for being proud of her successes, but how can you conclude that Megan is “clearly” unhealthy?
All she said was that she likes sweets. Sugar is found in many food aside from “crap.” And it is a necessary part of every diet, not something to be feared. Cutting sugar out of your diet is as unhealthy as overconsuming it.
And as for excercize…looking at her body, she probably does exercize. I think she was just saying she doesn’t do it religiously and is not strict about it.
She may not be the perfect example of health, but I don’t think she’s unhealthy either.
Good point. I believe that obese and high fashion model body types receive the most negative criticism because they do not fit the dominant desire for a person to be ‘average’ in all aspects. I’ve said before that it is so stupid for us to stress that beauty comes in all shapes and forms when we knock down those who are obese and ultra-thin.
There is no way Megan is unhealthy, health is attributed to many factors, not just exercise. I would say the fact that she is at the size she is says she eats right amounts of foods and does enough movement to maintain her size.
agreed!
You can’t know that. Darryl Hannah looked great when she was young. She’s had MS since she was teenager. You can be thin and have serious health issues. I have a friend who is thin as can be. People fawn over her. The woman has Crohn’s Disease. It’s the old human assumption-if it looks good it must be good. It get’s people in trouble all the time.
Well she is a healthy size.
Extra weight puts terrible weight on your joints, increases the risk of diabetes and leads to heart disease. Being underweight puts you at risk of osteoporisis and heart disease.
We can’t decide if someone healthy by looking at them but a part of being healthy is being the right size.
I didn’t contest that Sophie. I simply stated one cannot infer complete health from size alone.
thats stupid… vinegar won’t do anything to maintain a slim figure.
I still don’t like Megan Fox. Whatever people say about her being attractive, and me being jealous of it, she’s not, and I’m not. I don’t think I would like to wake up one day looking like Megan Fox. I expect then I’d spout the same sort of rubbish that shes does too. But anyway, I’ve just never found her attractive, and especially now, because she looks so ‘fake’. She does have good proportions though. I just really don’t like her face…
She says really ridiculous things and I’m not a fan of several of her quotes, but she is super gorgeous with an amazing body, slim, toned, proportionate. and she has fabulous eyes
this article is a) old.
b) wrong.
She drinks shots of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR not Balsamic.
… yeah right. I’m so bored with her.
I love the eyes. I wish I had amazing makeup and people to take care of me like that! LOL.
She’s great! And very beautiful!
