We’ve been dealing with a Megan Fox overload these days – she’s in men’s magazines (Esquire), she’s in women’s magazines (Elle), she’s everywhere.
Here’s an interesting part from the Elle interview:
On getting down to 99 pounds while shooting Jennifer’s Body (at a 5’6” frame):
“I decided I would turn myself into a zombie. I got super, super skinny, stayed out of the sun for four months, and got to where I was losing my eyelashes and my eyebrows.”
And on a non-related issue:
On giving male writers an amped-up version of her past:
“They’re boys; they’re easily toyed with. I tell stories and have them eating out of my hand.”
Megan recently confessed that “Transformers is the fattest she’s ever been” – The Sun says:
MEGAN FOX piled on the pounds before shooting Transformers 2 – because the film’s director is “traumatised” by skinny women.
Stunning Megan admits her weight fluctuates thanks to her unhealthy lifestyle, but she makes a concerted effort to chub up before working with MICHAEL BAY.
She said: “Mike doesn’t like really skinny actresses.”
“He’s been traumatised by them for some reason in the past.”
“So I always try to put on eight to ten pounds before, and I’m always the fattest I’ve ever been when making a Transformers movie.”
She added: “Anyway, my weight fluctuates constantly – I don’t really take good care of myself. I just sort of exist and survive.”
Well, you’re doing a pretty good job of it, Megan…

She’s beautiful – if a bit overexposed….
Agreed. I think she’s gorgeous, but her attitude turns me off. It’s like she knows she’s sexy and it’s gone to her head, and that really makes her less beautiful. It’s also annoying that she makes everything about sex, it makes her seem really trashy and trailer park-y. You can be sexy without talking about your sexiness all the time, we know that you give guys stiffys. We know that you have a great body. No need to bring it up in every interview.
Still, I like her, she just annoys me.
yea, I agree. I think that she is really pretty and hot, but she def. has that whole “I know I’m hot” kind of attitude which is a turn offf
I completely agree. She’s very good looking, but I hate her attitude. I literally JUST saw Jennifer’s Body, and there is NO way that she is 99 pounds in it. She is actually curvy in that movie, curvier than she is now. I don’t see why she has to lie to reporters… she is just setting a bad example for young women, making them think that they need to be at a very low weight to “be like Megan” when in fact she was healthy in that movie.
I’m sorry, but there’s something I don’t like about this girl. And it’s not jealousy, get over it. I like Angelina, Charlize, Rachel B, Keira K, Sienna M etc, but I’m really not digging her. I can’t say she’s not beautiful or smthg, but… I just don’t like her.
Is it because something about her face makes it look like she’s mean? Not that she would be mean, but it LOOKS like she would be mean. You know, one of those kinds of girls who would stop you in the hallway in school and pretend to invite you to something ‘cool’ only to trick you into walking into a trap. At least, that is one thing that puts me off even though she is a pretty woman.
Yeah she seems like she could be a total bitch. She just seems to act like she can do no wrong because of how she looks. I also feel like she is fake. It seems like ever sense people compared her to Angelina Jolie she started trying to play that role. She seems to be trying to hard to become Angelina.
i agree-when i was looking at these pictures it struck me that there is something off about her–something that doesn’t quite allow me to look at her and think “omg she’s gorgeous.”
if you look at pictures of her from a few years ago, she looks COMPLETELY different. she has tons of freckles, lips are much smaller, body is fuller, etc. in these pics she looks like a plasticized version of a real person.

There is absolutely nothing attractive about this woman. She is classless, bad actress and knows that the only place where she can get attention is by doing magazines. Especially mens magazines. How sad.
I think she is pretty but there are ALOT of other hollywood woman out there that are prettier then her, classier then her, and better actresses then her.

my thoughts exactly! Her sexiness is ALL she has going for herself, the only reason she’s relevant is because she’s hot. When someone younger and sexier comes along she’ll be irrelevant, unless she starts trying to build a real acting career based on talent.

I remember reading the tabloids, the gossip blogs, the magazines…they all talked about how she was the look alike younger version of Angelina Jolie and ever sense then she seemed to play on it. After that she started saying that she was bisexual…she got all the tattoos…just like angelina. I never said she wasn’t pretty just not the best looking in my opinion.

its interesting that she’s basically admitting to having unhealthy eating patterns….she’s basically saying she is capable of gaining weight, but she chooses to maintain an unhealthy lifestyle so she could stay underweight. at least she’s honest about it. im sick of actresses who claim to be “naturally skinny”. its also a little disturbing that she uses the word “fat” to describe her body in transformers….

If you look at the old pictures from back when she was dating that kid from ’7th Heaven’ you can clearly see that Transformers was not the “fattest” she has ever been nor is what she looks like now completely natural. I used to like her before she became sooooo fake and trashy. and for all those who say she looks like a bitch, its because she is. my friend worked on the set of transformers for a few days and says she was a bitchy, conceited piece of trash. she cant act so and the whole ‘sex symbol’ thing is fleeting. if she doesnt work on her acting skills and become better at handling her fame (as in more humble), she will end up like lindsay lohan. but less memorable.

Ditto. Some women get so envious when they see another woman that is not oppressed to the point that she fears to express her sexual nature.
I have no problem giving another woman a compliment and I think it is so important that we do give eachother compliments and I know how happy you get when you get compliment. But as it is a site were we discuss and give our opinions about other people, its just not always that we agree.
I know when I see a gorgeous woman and there are tons of women I think are absolutely stunning but if there is people who we don’t find attractive then I don’t think we should lie or say something we don’t mean as it is a site were we give our opinions.

why are we glorifying this woman for having an eating disorder? she obviously has a very unhealthy relationship with food/body image, and she doesn’t seem to see it as such. she’s so matter-of-fact with her statements, it’s pretty shocking.
exactly Betsy! She seems proud of the message she is sending to kids all around the world. Kellie…Why would anyone be envious of someone who admits that they are unhealthy and does not take care of their bodies? Yeah she has a pretty face…but If I was envious It would be of people like Kate Hudson, Charleze Theron, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Biel…Woman Who have healthy looking bodies.

Good point Kellie…Marilyn did abuse her body with drugs and alcohol. I can’t argue with that. I just don’t like the attitude that Megan has…like what she is doing to her body is ok and the example that sets to young kids.

Yeah, in half the interviews and stuff I read about her she’s almost bragging about the crazy stuff she does to stay thin.
I find it a bit sad that she refers to her weight for the “Transformers” movies as “fat”, “pile on the pounds” and “chubbing up”
She looked really good at the weight she was in the first one, and it’s astounding she thinks of it so negatively.
We must remember that she’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. Judging by her comments, she does not have the gift of an expansive vocabulary, nor does she have the healthiest view of her body. Beautiful woman though…I would love to look like her.

I think she is gorgeous with a fantastic figure, but I agree she does look like the ultimate mean girl. Also, 99lbs in Jennifer’s body? I just googled some images from the film and I can’t believe she was 99lbs?

I sense a certain arrogance from her. I think she is beyond beautiful, but it seems as though she has an ugly side. Too bad. She looks amazing.
to me, she is the exact difference between being pretty and beautiful. imo, looks=pretty. and i will happily say that i envy her looks, albeit plastic ones, but looks regardless. but she lacks that spark, the compassion, that makes beautiful women….beautiful.
there is something so repulsive about her to me. the whole “men eating out of my hand” thing, for example – of COURSE guys are hanging on her every word, so why does she feel the need to boast about it to the world? she seems cold and manipulative, and above all, she acts as though her fame is a given. she’s “hot,” so therefore she is obviously going to be famous too.

Let me preface my comment by saying that I think she’s a beautiful woman. That said, this is obviously someone who is dealing with extreme insecurities about her appearance. This is not the same Megan Fox from “Trasformers” She looks completely different. At the tender age of 22 this young woman has had a nose job, lip fillers, photo rejuvenation and who knows what else. I personally think this whole over confident, overtly sexual persona is a defense mechanism she’s using to deal with her insecurities. If you’ve ever listened to an interview with her she’s really self deprecating. Anyway, at the very least she’s lucky she found a plastic surgeon with some skill otherwise she would end up looking like that Wildenstein woman. Hope this doesn’t become an addiction for her.

I think there’s a lack of personality behind her looks. Other sex symbols are known for being outrageous (Ang Jolie), Straight talking (Scar Johansson), or funny (Marilyn Monroe).
She doesn’t really bring anything else but sex appeal so she doesn’t grab your interest as much.

Megan fox is super sexy. I find her personality entertaining and that is what celebrities are expected to provide. She is very clever and manipulative, I’m mainly just impressed by how she controls the media. I like her because she stays at home. Regardless of how unhealthy she is physically or mentally, she spends time at home and isn’t party crazy, which is very different from the other recent super hot young female celebrities, who have whored themselves out in attempts to be seen as sex symbols. Although her vocabulary is far from ivy league, that is to be expected. She never attended college so it is unfair to expect too much from her mind. With this said, I see intelligence in her through her manipulation and sadistic humor. Even at the expense of being the fat ugly friend in comparison only, I would love to hang out with Megan. She seems like a hell of a lot of fun! The only real thing I have against her is that my boyfriend once randomly asked me who out of all Hollywood I would date. I thought about it and after five minutes said Johnny Depp. Then I asked him and he abruptly said Megan Fox. At this time I did not know, who she was and started to look into her. It really bothers me that he did that because I think he just wanted to tell me that he thought she was super hot. Its not her fault at all, but sometimes I feel jealous or something, but only because my boyfriend made a point to tell me how he felt about her. Any opinions on how I should handle this turn in my relationship?
