Here’s the latest addition to the Hollywood Blonde Club: 22 year-old actress Emma Stone, who gave up her red locks to embrace a light blonde shade.

definitely makeunder! her skin tone is too light for this blonde.. at first i thought she has a wig!
shes lost a lot of weight since staring in superbad, but i guess thats what the industry does to you… cute hair though

she’s actually a natural blond, i guess she got tired of keeping up with the red.
apparently (via ohnotheydidnt) it’s for her role in that revamp of some comic movie (spiderman or superman?)? anyway, best thing she did for her career was to dye her hair dark red/brown – as a blonde she is kind of average and unnoticeable – auburn makes her stand out and features pop!

I think she looked better before. The red hair made her light eyes stand out and she looked sort of quirky and interesting. Now with being blonde and thinner she just seems kind of generic to me.

i’m pretty sure that she is a natural blonde and has been dying her hair since becoming an actress… so techinically this is going back to her roots.
she is a natural blonde. i red an interview with her in either glamour or marie claire and she said how the first director she worked with had her dye her hair red and she kept it. i think the red looks cuter, makes her more unique looking, but i think its insulting say she looks worse with her natural hair color. she still looks really cute.
i sincerely doubt this her natural shade, I’m a natural blonde but its nothing like this! you still have to get the right tone, or it can look really bad. She doesn’t look terrible but I did like her red hair.

I actually think the blonde looks somewhat natural on her! I can’t believe I didnt notice how..unnatural her darker hair looked…it looks like she’s one of those girls thats naturally blonde and dyes her hair brown for no reason lol…I like it

me too…but i actually suit darker hair a lot better. It makes my eyes stand out more and my complexion (sp?) overall looks better too… I personally preferred her darker with the red…it just made her look more striking and glowing imo. Maybe she would suit blonde but this shade just doesnt look quite right to me.
I prefer the red, definitely. And hopefully she doesn’t lose any more weight!

makeover – I never liked her fake red hair, this suits her much better. The blonde is a little brassy but its will be because she went through such a dramatic change of colour – it will only look better in time with tonors and such to make it more natural looking ^^
I like the hair color change; I don’t like the eye makeup. The large dark wings with dramatic heavy bangs are too much. I looks like eyemakeup meant for someone with darker hair. I hope she lost weigh healthfully. Emma looked great before

Funny, I thought she looked like a young Rebecca DeMornay in the first picture. For Emma the color, but especially the make-up is a make-under unless as commented above the brassiness goes away and a more natural blonde shows through

I loved her red hair plus she was an antidote and what Lindsay Lohan would be like if she had talent and came off drugs. Although she does look striking as a blonde I think the fringe (that’s bangs to you guys in the US) is too heavy/long and unnecessary she has lovely face and gorgeous skin.

She does look a little sick and tired here, not vibrant and fresh. She looks great with bags, auburn and bangs would look amazing on her. She dyed her hair blonde to play Gwen Stacy in Spiderman, she can’t look like Mary Jane!

Emma is a stunning girl. Her features are absolutely perfect. However, the blonde hair doesn’t suit her. She has very pale skin, which does not go with golden blonde tones. She should have chosen a cooler tone like ash blonde. The reddish brown looked great on her.

I think both colors suit her very well. She has the kind of face to pull off both. I think people prefer her as a redhead just because we don’t have that many redheads to admire, and not everybody can pull off red hair.

She is like Leighton Meester–doesn’t matter what your natural color is, the darker looked better.
I would say makeunder. The blonde isn’t completely horrible, but it does wash her out, it’s not very flattering. She looks great with the auburn hair. But, if it is for a movie role, maybe it won’t stay blonde too long.

Makeunder! I think her old color was a lot better. She would probably look good with dark brown or at least honey blond, not light blond, hair as well.

Is it me or do all under-30 actresses look the same?? Same body, same style. If I were in the business, I’d go for a more unique look! The most successful actresses have something special and unique about them.

I don’t dislike her as a blonde, but I would rather see her going back to the red hair (mainly, because red hair is hot).
What I dislike, though, is that makeup… what’s up with that?
EEEK! I loved her red hair! She was so different, it was refreshing. What is with the bangs? ah…and the makeup? It makes her age.
She’s natural. I’m a natural blond, green eyes, fair skin, freckles and share similar genetics with her. I can assure you the red was out of a bottle. Perhaps her natural color has been lightened a tad but I have the same hair color as her so I know this shade can occur naturally. It’s almost an insult when people call natural blondes generic just because they share the same hair color with fakes.
