Demi Lovato recently got bored of her dark red locks and went for a much lighter look – here’s the shot that she posted on Twitter while saying:

…I think anything from a light brown to dark blonde suits her best, makes her complexion have a nice look to it

Makeover for sure, cause she was too “dark” looking with her too black eyes, black hair and light brown skin. Now she has a little brightness in her.

Bear in mind if she wore that same haircut again now she would look very different – I assume that photo was taken during her bulimia because her face has become much rounder and fuller since she went to rehab (which, even if she gained a few, I think is more her natural genetic make-up).
I think the golden blonde is very soft on her features and striking with her dark brown eyes, I like it.

yeah, i’d love to know what anyone thinks about caramel hair coloring. my mom who is a natural blonde thinks it’s awful. it’s more orange-y than blonde. i don’t mind it (like on emma watson for instance), but do you think going either blonde or brown is better?

She would look gorgeous if she chopped her hair to chin length. That length does nothing to flatter her face whatsoever, and is another example of a woman wearing long hair simply because she believes that it’s fashionable.

I hate both. Both hair colors are unnatural for her skin tone and certainly not flattering. She should try a nice chocolate brown with essential highlights for depth. Not some Jennifer Lopez impersonation with all over bleach blond.

Actually, it looks really good on her. Not a fan of brunettes going blonde for the most part but it suits her very well. Whoever the hairdresser or colorist is she/he did a great job!

Ugly? Wow… Are you serious? She might not be your type which is fine because everyone has different “types” and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But to call her ugly is extremely harsh, a bit rude and very exaggerated. You don’t have to like her, but still. I actually think Demi has the nicest face out of all the recent Disney stars. I don’t think Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez are attractive, but I would never call them “ugly.”

I do not care about this child’s hair color. She is still sick and her people keep pulling her out of rehab early because SHE is their money-maker. Where are her parents??? When will they get her the help she needs???
Oh, if only I had the luxury of changing my hair color every month. I mean I can do it with boxed dye, but it wouldn’t nearly as nice as Demi’s hair. They both look nice, i don’t know!

hair should never be lighter than the skin IMO. (unnatural) tan blondes gross me out. i have a naturally tan friend who has white blonde hair and she is gorgeous but it looks totally different when it’s natural.
i wish demi the best but i’d rather see so many other celebs on here. i love anna paquin and she’s never on here! i would even prefer a rosie/miranda/adriana/zoe/karlie post over this one! i know those posts are really common but i like seeing their candids and their day to day outfits.

Demi has a beautiful face, she is the most attractive recent Disney girl. I think she is more attractive than Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus. The blonde hair actually suits her. I just hope she doesn’t start fake tanning too much again, her naturally paler skin tone looks nice.

the middle split cut and long bangs is weird on her she should have bangs of some sort her face is so square and her cheeks are rather full im not digging this blonde color maybe some highlights or a nice brown even though it would be boring it would fit her imo

She almost pulls it off but the color is too chemical-looking. And I don’t call it blonde, I call it “the color olive-skinned chicks pretend is blonde”.

She looks prettier I wish I could do such a dramatic change but if I asked my hairdresser to do something like that I would turn orange
I like the blonde.
Demi has really pale skin a lot of the time, which is fine, but then she wears REALLY harsh makeup, which mixed with pale skin and dark hair I think looks a little weird. I think she’ll be able to pull that off better as a blonde (but who knows, it might look worse…)
