I love her I think she is one of the most beautiful women in hollywood. I think she always looks better in film or real life than in photographs due to her longer face shape, same with people with round faces doesnt photograph as easy. But man, she is beautiful! Dont like the hair style tho :S

I’m actually pretty sure she’s a smoker, there are a lot of candids that show her with a cig. I also once read an interview in which she said she used to be a heavy smoker, but has cut down the number of cigarettes a day, due to her son.
Um, yeah, I thiknk so, too. Also, her teeth don’t always look very healthy.
LOTR is when I basicly fell in love with this woman
(in a heterosexual way lol) she was so beautiful I wanted to look just like her her. Even years later she seems she hasn’t aged at all, her skin is still so perfect. Great genes I guess. I also dislike the pictures wit cigarettes, I’m a smoker myself but I know its a bad habit and I dont like to see it glamourized.
i think it’s mostly the distinctive impact that cig smoke has on film, it’s really like no other. i’m not saying it’s a good thing, just ya know I tend to think it “looks neat” and “makes for a cool effect”
I couldn’t agree more. I can’t get over how she and her half sister Mia are so beautiful and look so much alike, yet the common link (Steven Tyler) is so, well…………yuck.
Their moms are pretty enough, but no where as stunning as these women..

I quite like the shoot, really; sultry without being racy, mysterious without sombre, and intense without being overdone. While Live Tyler isn’t my favourite celebrity out there, I must admit that she has a unique face and an enviable body!

I love liv! Not sure about the smoking photos, and the hair isn’t the best, but the 60′s theme is awesome, and her legs look amazing in some of those shots!! She definitely knows how to work her best assets!

I know that she started out as a model. I remember her being the face of Bongo jeans for awhile back in the nineties.

She’s 5′ 10″ (1,78 m). She used to be a model, but that was a long time ago. She gained quite a lot of weight and said she had to diet like crazy to be thin.
Heres hoping that with more models like Bar Refaeli, Liv might get a look in again!

She is sooo beautiful. I really love her. I loved her in LotR, as probably my favorite movies. She is truly one of the most uniquely beautiful, classy, poised and admirable women in holywood.
The smoking looks sexy but I really hope she doesn’t actually smoke.
I can’t believe we spend so much time discussing which celebs look “healthy” or not based on how thin or toned they are, when so many of them smoke!

I totally agree! Just for comparison look at the articles on Nikki Blonsky and see how many people criticise her for being unhealthy and gross and whatever. There is nowhere near that amount of criticism for this picture (and nowhere near as hate-filled). And this picture actively glamorises smoking.
Smoking is MUCH more unhealthy than being overweight, which means that the comments about Nikki Blonsky areonly be fat-ist and cruel (they are not an attempt “to encouage healthier role models” as the commenters usually claim).
Furthermore, smoking harms other people around you, whereas being overweight only hurts yourself. It should be much more important to stigmatise smoking than to make fat people feel bad about themselves.
I dont know about that, smoking kills but weight-related health problems and a leading cause of premature death. Neither is healthy nor should they be promoted.
People tend to pass on bad eating habits to their children too, so to say weight issues don’t harm others isn’t really true.
Your statistic is misleading. Obesity is only the leading cause of premature death in America because more people are overweight (over 50% of population). Taking into account the smaller number of people that smoke (approx 20% of population), it is MUCH more poisonous and unhealthy and responsible for MANY more fatalities.
Also, there is a lot of research to show that smoking is actually passed down to children too. If you have one parent who smokes you are twice as likely to start smoking yourself. Not to mention the health effects on your children if you smoke (i.e. asthma, SIDS, etc, etc).

Actually, the top three causes of premature death are heart disease, cancer and stroke. Obesity and smoking are both serious risk factors that contribute to the incidence and prevalence of these diseases and conditions.
I don’t know of any research which shows that obesity causes cancer…? Would be interested to see some.
But, yes, I see your point. My original comment was more an observation that both are very unhealthy and yet obesity is the only one that is so socially despised and shunned (as evidenced by the sheer number of comments on the Nikki Blonsky article versus this one).
Of course I know that people are much more likely to smoke if their parents do (I am an example of this) and I have friends who are examples of having overweight parents meant they grew up overweight themselves and are still overweight. Both things are bad but since more people are battling weight problems than smoking, it’s still a bigger problem in society than smoking, which seems to be dying out. I didnt say one thing is worse for the health than the other – you just assumed that.

One of my absolute favorite actresses. She gorgeous and very talented as well , has a common sense and doesn’t sell herself short. Great shoot, even though I’m not the a fan of smoking , still I understand they were trying to imitate the glam of the 70′s
After looking at the pictures again I have to say that hairdo is not one of her better choices.
