Lindsay Lohan Is the New Face (But Not the Body) for Marc Ecko

Lindsay Lohan is the star of Marc Ecko’s new ad campaign for his new Cut & Sew line – but wait: where are her freckles and is that her waist? Answer: Not really – according to many newspapers and online magazines and somewhat confirmed by the designer, Lindsay’s head was actually attached to another model’s body (well, this has happened before).
Why would the designer hire an expensive Lindsay then? Marc Ecko explains:
“A muse has the ability to inspire the artist to create in ways they wouldn’t otherwise contemplate. For better, or worse, they make you feel something, emotionally. I cast Lindsay because people are fascinated with her – they can either feel good or bad things, but they are feeling some type of emotion. She’s a pop culture icon.”

Maybe i’m crazy but i could’ve believed that’s just Lindsay’s body, especially since all ad photos are photoshopped to a degree anyways. Silly as it is, i get where he’s coming from. Everyone can still see it’s Linds etc, only thing i’m not so sure about is would’ve it been so crazy to use her body.. The pics are ok, and i like the tacky blonde look with the dark brwos, only i’d like the brows if they were a tad lighter and didn’t look so colored-in.
The first pic is from the photoshoot. It is not the pic that was published! The photo that was published had a girl with lindsay’s face (without the mask) and a body of a pear shaped hottie (and lindsay is not even close to a pear)

I’d be so offended if I was employed for this and then they were like “soooo.. gonna use someone else’s body actually” :/. I’m not sure if this is better or worse than over-using photoshop on her body? I suppose it’s worst, because I expect they photoshopped the models body as well.
Versus, I thought you were going to the Demi scenario as a past example.
Well of course he’s right; that’s how advertising works, however, I think it’s pretty lame how we as a society buy into these methods and techniques.

Well I think they only used her face in the picture where you can actually see it.. in the last picture the model’s eyes and eyebrows’ shape and colour are different.. I think they only used lilo’s name and permission to do this ad..
LOL! People are fascinated about her? Man this dude must be high 24/7 or something. People aren’t fascinated, people think what we all thought a while ago ‘this is a trainwreck, drug user and party animal, she doesn’t listen, she doesn’t work, she is acting like a spoiled little ho, not long until she hits rock bottom and crashes’ and she did. That’s all. Her acting skills ain’t that good in fact other than parent trap and mean girls haven’t even heard of her being in other movies, i know she has been but i just haven’t seen it advertised! she ain’t pretty if you’ve ever seen her without make up and she has a meager body not to mention fake boobs. She’s like 99% of the girls in hollywood, what’s so fascinating about that?
Her boobs are fake? I think her boobs has always been big, from a very young age.
They actually had to use CGI in Herbie to reduce them, because it was a Disney movie.
I don’t think her boobs are fake either. They have always been quite large, and whenever she loses weight they disappear…which would indicate that they are real. However, I do agree with all the other negative things you had to say about her
she has breast implants more than once, because at first they were too big, she was never flat chested but no one goes from having medium boobs to massive huge, super round boobs in a few days, like she did in the past. I dunno why people deny celeb surgery, they all do it, for better or for worse.
Anyhoo I think lindsay is gross she makes me feel dirty just looking at her, no idea how she still gets hired for any kind of modelling.
I think her breast are real. They have always been fairly large. In nudes she looks very natural…if they are fake the plastic surgeon did a DAMN GOOD job.
While Lindsey getting breast implants isn’t something that would shock me, I really don’t think she did.
She does have natural big breasts. Most natural redheads do. As for fluctuation, you have to remember that it all depends on what’s going on underneath the clothes…what kind of bra is being worn, how much push up action is happening…etc. Not to mention monthly hormonal cycles play a role as well.

The redhead thing, really? Sounds kinda crazy to think hair colour and boob size are related, I never would have thought about it, do you have an article or something you could link? My sister is a natural redhead and she has huge boobs, but everyone else in the family has small ones, so its interesting what you said

You are feeling bad things. Therefore, he was right, you feel a negative emotion. Wether the people on this site wanna admit or not, people are fascinated by her, they just dont realize it.
I could care less. IDGAF about Lindsay Lohan I only come on these posts to laugh at all the negative things people say about her. And I always think to myself “why are people so obsessed with her?” Hmmm…..
I agree, pretty sure her breasts are real. And if that really is a body double, then it’s a very close representation of her body. I like the photos, but again i am a little biased becuz i like Lindsay, no matter all the bad she does, i think she’s just lost and needs the help that she is getting.
I am almost sure her boobs are not fake.. And I really wonder what is in her so much that she is still being regarded as an icon?? All she does is screwing up over and over again..What makes people think she is inspiring?I really don’t know,I never watched a movie of her,but up to now I didn’t really hear a nice news about her all the time it was telling how she failed “this time”.sorry for,she seems kinda lost just like Britney,i wonder if they’ll find a right way to go..
Facination is not the same thing as inspiration, worship…etc.
People like gossip and drama, and Lindsey’s life has plenty of that. I think people are curious to see how she will end up.
I don’t think most people apire to be like her or think she’s a great role model.

I saw the finished product of Marc Ecko’s “geniousness” and it looked horrible. The head of Lindsay on this model, ugh, it looked like a character from Britney Spears’ “Break the Ice” music video.
You know what, given the whole situation, I can understand why the designer chose to use another model’s body.
Let’s face it, Lindsey’s lifestyle isn’t kind to the body. While she was hot and a great body in her younger days, the same might not be true now. Most recent pictures we’ve seen of her in a bikini have already passed the photoshop team.
Perhaps this designer didn’t feel like hiring photoshoppers. It is a lot easier and cheaper to just use a body double. And I really feel this is true just because the other model has a VERY similar body to Lindsey.
I’m pretty sure she also knew about it advance and probably doesn’t care. Money is money, especially for people out of work like her.
i stillcan’t believe when people assert that her bobbs are real. they aren’t. us weekly broke the story in 2004 when 17 yr old linds started sporting some obv. bolt ons. the years of not wearing a bra has really taken a toll on the implants and made them looks real b/c they sag a little now. when she lost all that weight, there were rumors that it was b/c she had an implant leak and had lost “20 lbs” during the weekend to cover up the loss of her breasts. don’t you think her eating disorder was short lived? within a month she was back to her old self with no treatment. then she later recanted the story of having had an eating disorder.
anyway, i was thinking that didn’t exactly look like lindsay b/c she has a rather boyish figure aside from her chest. that’s a hot body but isn’t hers…odd.

She used to have a beautiful face, I hate what she did to herself with all the drugs and overall excess of sun/booze/starvation/legal problems etc.
But yeah, I agree that she’s the kind of person who provokes either a deep hate or admiration with the result that massive amounts of people will talk about her (in a good or bad way)
It’s kind of weird they did this, is her body not good enough? She’s fluctated a ton in the past few months that’s for sure. Also her breasts are 100% FAKE! Sure they were naturally large to begin with, and yes the first time she went anorexic/bulimic/on drugs/whatever she lost them, however she got implants along the line, probably one of the many “rehab” trips:

i actually dont think that using some other body is that bad, i mean, in every photoshoot we see maasive photoshop in celebrities that change them completley the only diference here is that this guy is actually being honest in what he is doing…taking about Lilo…mhm IMO her boobs are real but i couldnt care less, and she well she makes me feel sad, and somehow mad, i mean the jail thing was bull sh… just 2 weeks, i guess money and fame are more powerful than laws, but in the other side she is a young girl turning his life into a mess in front of everyone her career is based upon what everyone thinks of her…and that cant be easy

He is so right and I agree with everything the designer guy said. Let’s face it, Lindsay is pretty effed up. And her body isnt the best one. But she is very famous and people love hearing about her and seeing her, wether they like her or not. So they hired her and just dropped her face on someone elses body. The result…. lots of publicity. I applaud him
People can lecture about photoshop and not lying to the public and blah blah blah but honestly, who cares. Photoshopping isnt gonna stop so accept it and move on.
LL did a revealing photo shoot a couple of years ago and yes, one could tell her breasts were not fake. She is a young woman with big breasts. In fact, she has never really been skinny until she managed to get involved with drugs and partying.
I like this model because she appears to have an athletic body.
