Lady Gaga & Lily Allen went for dramatic white and black looks at the Brit Awards last night – Lady Gaga overwhelmed herself with giant hair and 3 giant ruffles and Lily opted for shiny black and smokey eyes.

okay like seriously, can everyone get their own style now please??? the lady gaga thing is really starting to annoy me. okay, she is a style icon-let HER hold that role and everyone else can decide for THEMSELVES what they want to wear. I hate that people might not think Im cool enough if I dont dress like a freak. JEEZZ!!
Really? Lilly Allen was allready famous and working with Chanel long before Lady Gaga realease her first album. And there is a many singers who are fahion icons before Lady gaga appear : Bjork, Bowie, Cher, Goldfrapp, Tina Turner, Marilyn Manson…

Im saying that ever since lady gaga got popular everyone started copying her crazy, rediculous over the top style, and nobody would have if he never blew up like she did, everyone would have still known her as the crazy bitch with rediculous outfits.

btw i usualy don’t like the over-the-top gaga outfits but i like this one, it reminds me of venetian masks and since yesterday was mardi gras i think it was appropriate!

I don’t like the dresses-at all! Gaga’s overall look is totally unflattering, she looks like she’s dressed in a huge tent and her hair do resemble cotton candy.
I like Lilly’s hair do-she look very cute with this hairstyle but her dress is not ok – tha’s just my opinion. also, she seems to have a tiny waist- maybe she lost weight:)
I like Lilly’s hair up close, but from a distance it looks like she’s wearing a black motorcycle helmet.
Why do people buy into Lady Gaga’s ‘I’m so alternative; look at me’ image?
I hear she’s quite a genius behind the scenes and is talented etc but I think the real money is in her ludicrous outfits

I love Lily’s Chanel dress and hair, but hate her make-up.
I love that Gaga is looking fresh-off-the-runway crazy and that Lily looks enchanting in an unusual dress. Much better than the sea of poorly-chosen Hèrvé Legère or whomever it is this month that no doubt surrounded them, IMO.
It looks like they are just competing to see who can look more ridiculous… if course Lady Gaga wins again, it’s just impossible to look weirder.

I don’t like Lily’s dress, she looks so stiff and awkward in it. Clearly the chest part is restrictive, I hope she can breathe okay. I do think her makeup/hair is kinda cool and different.

I think Lady Gaga is very unique, i love that about her. Her outfits are really unique and stunning. But this is probably the only one that i absolutely dislike.

@ Aimdawg-I think people were making the point that you can’t “copy” outrageous-ness. Entertainers having been doing it for centuries and will continue to do so even when Lady Gaga is in a feather-and-sequined wheelchair. No idea why it bothers people so much when Gaga dresses crazy. I think she’s so fun…

My 4 old cousin’s costume was a snow flake this year and this reminds me alot of little Allison in her hyper white dress with the cotton candy hair.
Then again it’s Gaga and at least she went through with it and looks … well like that was exactly what she wanted to look like. Love the mask she wears.
Lily looks like she’s trying to audition for the next twilight movie tingy – maybe we should worry that she’ll get thirsty and slaughter the unsuspecting towns folk. Anyway,thats just a no go in my eyes. Vampire gone biker bride – since the hair really does look like a helmet …. the close shot is very pretty though.

GaGa looks like a big hand puppet, dontcha think? Lily looks kind of.. Star Wars. Both have their merits as well as both being kinda horrible. +1 for stef’s hair and masquarade-esque theme, she wins.

LADY GAGA. What is that? People talk all the time of this woman’s (?) individuality. Derp. Maybe do some more research before you start worshiping this new “icon”. She is not worthy of that title. Watch Madonna’s “Vogue” – let me remind you that it’s from the early 90s – I dare you to miss the similarities. Individuality my butt, Lady Gaga! The pirates from Davy Jones’ Locker had pearls on their face, and no one WOWED at that! Then Gaga rocks up at some place wearing pearls on her face then BAM its front page puppet news!
There are endless fashion “statements” that she has made that actually date back to the 60′s, 70′s, 80′s and 90′s. She is nothing but a copy cat trying to create an illusion of individually and creativity.
Now onto the her performances. I have heard from many sheeple that her live performances are “mindbogglingly shocking and creepy”. You want shocking? Watch a horror movie.
People are being cheated out of seeing REAL individuality that existed decades ago (many of which she copied) due to the hysteria of today’s terrible pop culture. Poor sheeple, when will you learn to free yourself from today’s mind control.

So what? Lily Allen wears an “extravagant” dress, therefore she is copying Lady Gaga? No, I don’t think so. The only thing strange about that dress is the fact that has a red collar that hasn’t been seen before. New crazy dresses are always on the red carpet.
On no! Would you look at that?! Lily Allen is wearing dark makeup too! But I thought only Lady Gaga wore dark makeup!!! I’m joking, of course. Plenty of people have discovered the use of eyeliner and has been used for thousands of years.
