The annual British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTA) took place yesterday at the Royal Opera House in London… and Kristen Stewart made the red carpet walk in a sleeveless ivory dress and golden platforms.
How do you like Kristen in this dress? She’s definitely not one of the celebs that always do the “hands-on-hip + big smile” poses in front of the cameras.

Yes she did. I won’t be surprised if people start yelling “baby bump!” because this dress doesn’t flatter her at all. And can’t she do something about that hair?
she’s very awkward at posing for pictures if you watch the show (which could explainw why she looks like she’s gained because of bad angles and posture)
i watched the show on TV and somehow she looks alot bigger in pictures than she does on camera. she has very skinny legs and just abit bigger arms for her frame… probably a fast metabolism and not much exercise – not so good later on when she gets older. i do really like her tho !
I dont think the dress is the most flattering, but the shoes are gorgeous! She hasnt really gained weight in my opinion, well not much at all. Would love to see Kristen crack a big natural smile from time to time also

And yes, she a weird body, very teeny legs but bigger arms; i bet if she lost more weight she would look ridiculous with stick legs. She is just herself, doesn’t seem to care much about hollywood standards and so on. That makes her cute, actually.

I never thought I’d say this about Kristen Stewart, but she’s going to have some Jillian Michaels workout tapes in her fan mail P.O. box specifically for me.
And now that I’ve been mean, I’m going to say something nice. Her skin is really beautiful and she really is a cutie. I’m not sure about her acting. I’ve only seen one of those Twilight movies and that little blip of her in Into the Wild, so I can’t be so sure yet. She seemed like a tolerable actress (which is a compliment considering how bad some of them are *cough* Taylor Lautner *cough*) in that Twilight movie.
What I don’t understand here is: Her dress is pretty, her shoes are pretty, but her hair looks like holy shizz. In my personal opinion, I think that she should go one way or the other. Why bother with the outfit and makeup if you’re going to skip the hair? Might as well be grungy all over.

I think she’s pretty, not my favorite kind of beauty but I can see pretty things in her. But she’s starting to look quite a mess. She definetely gained weight, and they go directly to her arms. She doesn’t know how to pose and her hair is looking oily. Her legs are nice and specially long for her frame, but she always seems like she’s high on the red carpet and she always acts the SAME roles… Like, in almo ofst all her filmes (at least Twilight, Into the Wild, that one with adam brody, Adventureland and Speek) she acts the same girl… Which is making me thing that’s the way she is and then she isn’t a good actress and her personality is very boring.

i completetey agree. the only character she can play is herself. i never really got her appeal since i think shes just a terrible actress
what i like about her is that she is not fake. she looks like a real human being – she has a bit of a belly (and you know having a little belly is normal and natural) and doesn’t spend the whole day at gym and isn’t neurotic about everything she eats. which is ok! she isn’t even 20 yet. why should she kill herself on a treadmill and try to fit in sample dresses?
she looks good anyway, although exercising is essential for everyone and she could gain a bit of muscle, but i like it that she isn’t so obsessed as many people in hollywood seem to be. and it’s lovely and refreshing to see someone who doesn’t pull off that stupid way too white fake smile on their orange tanned faces.

She has perma-bitchface and I’m also convinced that she has social anxiety. Plus she’s very very awkward. She nearly has a panic attack almost everytime she does an interview.
how can you be an actress if you have social anxiety??? she is awkward in front of the camera, but i think she milks it slightly some wierd kind of method acting. Its like she IS bella. not into clothes, not into superficial girlie things, trying to be deep and interesting..

You CAN be an actress and have social anxiety. They don’t cancel each other out, aka Kim Catrall, Donny Osmond (actor) who has been vocal about his struggle, and so too Barbara Streisand. That aside, she’s definitely an “awkward” girl. She probably is insecure and “shy”. She hates promoting things, as I learned during the first twilight movie. Every interview was so dull it looked like she would’ve rather been watching paint dry. That was what initially turned me off from the movies. Either way, I like the dress. I just wish she’d smile jut a bit.
I think Bella character is definitely not girly but I dont see her as a deep or interesting person,she is kinda boring.

Yes, she is definitely V-shaped. She has very long and thin legs and gains more weight on her upper body (arms, shoulders, midsection).

Typically, yes (like Jessica Simpson), but not always. Trinny and Susannah identified the “cornet” shape, which, unlike other top “heavy” shapes (goblet, lollipop) actually has small boobs.

I’m not a fan of either the dress or the shoes, but perhaps that’s just because she looks awkward in them. The sour expression on her face doesn’t do much to help either. Could just be a batch of bad photos though.
I can’t help but dislike this girl. Never understood her appeal, personality-wise, look-wise, and acting-wise. To me, she’s everything that people say Megan Fox is: ungrateful and untalented.

I totally agree with you. She has this I don’t give a sh!t personality, but yet she’s in a business where you’re image is everything. I feel like she needs to get over herself or something, she just rubs me the wrong way. I think her shyness and awkwardness can be cute sometimes, but jeez her publicist never taught her how to smile? Where’s Tyra Banks she can teach her to smile with her eyes, lol.

Totally the wrong dress for her figure, awful hair, dreadful makeup, badly chosen underpinnings (you can see the boning of either the dress or the shapewear under it buckling in some pictures) and a terrible attitude. If you have no curves, either fake them or wear something which doesn’t highlight the lack of them. The detailing on the bottom of the skirt is pretty and the shoes are alright, but she could look so much better.
That said, I think Robert Pattinson turned up with equally scruffy hair, so perhaps they had better things to think about during the afternoon…

Love her face and shoes, but that dress fits so poorly around the waist (see how in the 1st pic it’s almost making it look like she has love handles) and someone really needs to teach her posture. If she just had kept her shoulders back more everything would be helped. (and smiling doesn’t hurt either)
Don´t know what ppl find on her. She looks terrible, don´t have a pretty face and stand there like she don´t know what to do. Totally uncomfortable… Wonder how somebody can find her attractive. Cause she isn´t.
I remember reading an article once where she called herself “skinny fat” and admitted that she doesn’t exercise!
Everyone gets irate with her for not playing the fame game, yet get annoyed at people with no real claim to fmale lapping it up. So maybe we need someone who is middle ground. Its not hurting anyone and she is doing her job. Maybe she is a bit like me, I dont enjoy wearing girly dresses and feel awkward doing so, they don’t make me feel like myself so i stray away from them and heels. She gets jabbed at for dressing down, so she dresses up and clearly aint feeling it. I dunno…

To be completely honest I don’t think she’s ugly and I wish she would let her hair grow out. At least to me she is this generations Jodie Foster only she’s prettier and very socially awkward and gawky. She’s ambivalent towards the fame. I think for the most part she has her head on straight I just think she needs pr or media training I’m not saying she has to be a bubbly person but she has to learn how to give a good interview.Robert Pattinson is very much like her but when it comes to a one on one interview he’s fascinating. Nevertheless not a fan of what she’s wearing!
The dress is pretty, but it’s not made for her figure. She should have gone with a more flattering dress, and probably something other than white. Although it is nice to see her in something other than black. I think she also could have put a little more effort into her hair, or you know, smiling for that matter. I think the “I’m a rebel and I’m tough shit” look on her face is played out and makes her seem unapproachable. As far as her body goes, she is what I call “skinny fat” she is thin, but lacks muscle tone and/or definition. Honestly I think she looks unhealthy and unhappy. So full of angst, but not original.

I have no idea what fast metabolism she was bragging about, she’s gained like 20 pounds in the past year and a half and she’s not skinny at all minus some thinner legs. Her hair looks like she played with sissors and greased it! Her arms look awful, the first picture she has cellulite in them. Very odd.
Is that all people like you can point out on this site? You seem to enjoy stating other womens flaws and whether they are skinny or fat. I think you people are sad. You are just insecure about your own bodies and have nothin else to say. I think that you care way to much about the outside of a person. You dont even know these actresses and women you talk crap about. Did you ever think that real beauty is on the inside? Flaws can be hot and sexy if that person has a good heart and a soul. As much as I try, I can’t find anything attractive about her.
She did gain some weight and doesn’t look toned at all. If she worked out some and got down to her prior weight, she’d look great.

I’m dying over her hair. She used to have such gorgeous hair. I mean, I know she cut/died it for a role, but that’s no reason to stop taking care of it.
I can’t decide whether she looks better at this weight or her thinner one. And, despite the bad camera angles, she definitely has gained a little bit (you can see in some other photos of her.)

Honestly, her weight doesn’t really bother me, though if she keeps going like this she is going to be overweight in a few years, gaining what looks to me as at least 10lbs over the past 1-2 years isn’t healthy. But what really bugs me is here attitude. There are so many girls who would KILL to be her. It’s not the horrific hair, or the unflattering dress, or anything like that. It’s the horrible bratty-looking scowl on her face. Jeez, what about a smile to show that she gets how lucky she is to be here?
