“My trainer told me to stick pics of myself the way I like to look on my fridge and in my car… I am looking for those today. Good idea!”
“YEEEHAA WOOHOO… LOST 6 POUNDS since Jan.1 Yay yay… so 6 pounds in 11 days… I’ll take it!!! FEELS GREAT to be ON TRACK… hear that ENQUIRER?
“SALSA SALSA SALSA…..ARRRIBBAAA… now THIS is my kinda workout!!! love love love!! (sic)”
… says Kirstie on Twitter.

Good for her! And so smart of her to profit from her weight loss with endorsment deals and 2 shows. I love her bubbily personality. She has ao much charisma, I can’t change the channel whenever she’s on.
Oh Lord, not again. She tried this once with Jenny Craig. I think it’s sad when most of the play you get is just being a fat girl trying to lose weight. It’s her fault though since she keeps playing that game.
holy crackers, is that picture real? did she eat, like, her entire family?
er, that sounded somewhat harsh. sorry ’bout that. it’s just because the last time i saw her, she was just a little chubby, and now – man, pretty big difference.
I just read an article about her. The doc told her that she has to loose weight, or she’ll die very soon. (Don’t know how reliable the source of the article is)
I really wish the best for her, that she manages to loose enough way on a healthy way AND to keep a healthy weight.
How can she yo-yo so much? There’s so much weight involved in such a fast period of time. Like the poster above said, one day she’s just a little chubby, and the next day she’s fat (and I don’t mean that rudely, she IS actually fat and I don’t feel like calling her curvy).
Is she on the slimmer side, overeats, and becomes overweight, or is she on the bigger side, diets, and becomes slimmer?
I know what you mean, the yo-yo dieting is terrible for her health. She has said that when she was on Cheers that she had to work really hard for that body. That tells me that she struggles to be slender. I feel bad for all the negative press that she gets. She’s an admitted emotional eater and I’m sure the negative press makes it worse.
I wish her the best. I hope she can finally gain control of the bad habits and get healthy.
I read Kirsty’s book, she was a model/aspiring actress before cheers, was on coke at her thinnest which is when everyone told her her wonderful she looked and he also wrote about all the crazy diets she did in her prime,
I think she is naturally a little on the heavier side, not huge, but like she was in veronica’s closet, hopefully she can settle on something hse can maintan.
she is overweight yet trying to sell weight loss products..knowing her yoyo-ing habits and how frequently her weight goes up and down drastically, i dont think shes the best role model for weight loss or should be selling anything
her face is scary
I actually love her, heavy or not. She seems to have a joyous personality and it sucks that she gained that much to where it threatens her health. I have to say at least she’s trying and at least she has some spunk about it. I wish her all the best. Good luck, Kirstie!!!
I think she’s actually a really beautiful woman… but the yoyo- ing is terrible. I mean, we’re not talking about a few pounds here, she’s got a really serious eating disorder, I guess. Her whole life must be about weight-gain or -loss. She seems to feed herself until she almost bursts (I assume she’s got periods where she sort of loathes her body, her life, or whatever, cause nobody gains so much weight only because they like to eat) and then it’s all about dieting again… puh…. poor Kirstie… life should be about so much more… I really hope she’ll be able to reach her (weight)goals.
oh my gosh.. she’s huge!! The good thing about it is that makes me remember why I diet and work out.. lol
what a terrible photo. . . I think if she were dressed better and in better lighting, she’d look a little better. don’t know why this photo was used. . . She is still really big though, albeit a beautiful lady still. Love her!
i agree – plus some spanx, a good bra & a flattering outfit would probably drop 15-20lbs in appearance!
I admire this enthusiasm and motivation
Go Kirstie >>> !!!
(agree with the picture, not what one could call flattering
)
No matter what her weight, Kirstie will always be a cracker to me. I know nobody will really agree, but I just feel there is just something about her. Even at her heaviest, I always thought she looked great.
The problem with people like Kirstie is that they never actually get to the root of the problem.
She go’s on a diet every so often and everyone tells her she looks great. But what she needs to do is change her lifestyle not exercise like a dog for weeks and starve herself. Then pile on the pounds a few weeks latter when she starts living “normally”.
When will people like Kirstie learn that losing weight is about your mind set and your attitude to food and exercise changing and not your size changing.
I respect her for who she is and best wishes go out to her, but she is very unhealthy and is a terrible role model, especially overweight people trying to lose weight. It is very difficult for the average overweight person to get that overweight, which makes me wonder about her power of self control.
It is too bad that she went from a great career to sort of a comedian on being overweight. I do feel for her..
