Ugh, why is it totally ok to slam the thin girls but not the “curvy” ones. Analynne is small for sure but that’s here body type. Even if she gained weight she wouldn’t magically become curvy and have big boobs. She would just look like a thicker column. That’s just her body type. It doesn’t make her any less womanly.

She’s short, and curvy a great figure, and she isn’t trying to conform like almost every other women in hollywood, to be a size 0. I know some women are naturally skinny, like Annalynee, and thats okay. But you do NOT need to insult curvy women, to prove that Annalyne looks good too.

She could be a size 2 in women’s clothes. 1/2, 3/4 and 5/7 are juniors sizes. I wear a 0 in most womens/misses places but in Jrs.(i.e. Mandees) I wear a 3/4. Plus the size women give is dress size. She is pretty small on top and her dress bottoms are stretched within and inch of their life. So in a stretchy, skin tight dress she could be a 2. Definitely not jeans.

What proves nothing is that sizes vary way too much. I fit in sizes 25-30 jeans at H&M – on the same day! It’s ridiculous…
I find that extremely hard to believe. I am a size 26 and a consistent size 2 (designer sizes, not typical vanity sizes). When I was 24, I was 00 and when I was 25, I was 0. I think that’s the way jeans size usually works.

The dress does not flatter her figure. It makes her look wide and short plus.

She is slightly pear shaped due to her dainty upper body (minus the breasts) versus her broader hips and of course the infamous BUTT. That said she does not have excess weight to lose, she’s not flabby or wobbly, just very curvacious and shapely.

she could lose weight from her arms and thighs. She has been thinner in the past and has looked better. This outfit prob has spanx underneath to keep the ‘curves’ in control.
Breasts don’t delign a body shape, it’s the bone structure which does it. Assuming she hasn’t any padding in her hips (but spandex on her waist), she’s definetly a pear because her shoulders are much smaller than her hipbones.
She is definately an hourglass! She has equal width shoulders and hips, full breasts and hips, a noticably sinched in waist, plump thighs and bum and she seems to gain weight everwhere else before her waist and gains it quite easily. She is a perfect hourglass. If she had wider shoulders she would look strange and wouldn’t be an hourglass. People just have misconceptions about what an hourglass is these days. Something like only 8% of women have an hourglass figure, the rest just think they do because their waist is smaller than their hips. Lol. It has a lot more to do with that. Especially with todays media people seem to think models have hourglass figures becaus their waists are small but that doesn’t make them hourglass. Most women will have a pear shape. You can’t say that you see a lot of people walking around with Kim’s figure. You may not like her and she may have a vulger personality but this is definately an hourglass.
I think people just see hourglass as ‘attractive’ therefore want to try and find some ‘flaw’ in her because she is not as thin as other celebs and they don’t like her.

i don’t find a pure hourglass to be the most attractive. I think that hybrid body shapes are much better. A pure hourglass looks dumpy and matronly at times.
But I think she is a pear simply because if you got a sharpie and outlined her body it would not resemble an hourglass, but a pear. She gains weight more on her butt and thighs and lower stomach so that makes her a pear.
Her hips are much wider than her shoulders, her hips (and ass) is several sizes larger than her chest (and breasts), she’s a pear! (maybe a cello?).
Oh god Guru- I never said everyone find it the most attractive! I like pears and hourglasses myself which can be entirely different. I like Kim K and also Olivia Wilde and Mena Suvari. All entirely different. The “ideal” will be an hourglass for a lot of people. Not necessarily the hourglass body but the “idea ” of an “hourglass”. How many women go “Oh I’m an hourglass!” when really they aren’t. They have a slight curve in their waist as most women do. But to them, the term ‘hourglass’ sounds ‘perfect.’ I’m not stating the hourglass is perfect as a fact. It’s hard to dispute that many people see that as an ideal in the way of definition (not necessarily the way it looks). Just because you say ‘i think hybird bodies are the best’ doesnt mean everyone agrees. Nor did I say everyone agrees with the hourglass ideal. I also said many people on here especially seem to think models are hourglasses. They tout how perfect a model is being an hourglass (when they clearly aren’t) just because they have in their head that ‘hourglass’ is perfect. However they don’t have the actual view of what an hourglass will be. Again, I’m talking about the term hourglass and idea of an hourglass. Look at Candice. Everyone on here says she is an hourglass and adores her figure because she is ‘the ideal thin hourglass’. I’m not saying hourglass is more attractive. I can see why some people dont like it. BUT the TERM hourglass sounds good to a lot of people.
It’s hard to categorise some shapes. Kim’s shoulders do look as wide as her hips to me; she also has big boobs and that gives her an hourglass shape. But, her hips are very wide and ‘low’ somehow – saddlebags, I guess – and that is more classic for pears. Everyone would call Raquel Welch an hourglass – but her shoulders are a lot wider than her hips – so she doesn’t fit the mould perfectly. I would still call Kim an hourglass – but maybe a hybrid pear/hourglass is more accurate.

if boobs could determine a body shape than having breast implants would make a pear transform into an hourglass. that is impossible. breasts have nothing to do with body shape.

I don’t think she is pear. Pear can have big boobs, (ie Jennifer Love Hewitt) anyway hasn’t Kim K purchased her set?? Pears usually have ‘thick’ knees’ and slim upper body ribcage, and arms.
Anyway Kim does look really good eek! And AnnaLynne has a great body and you can tell she works for it, perhaps a different dress would be more flattering, however she still look great in this dress.

I like curves too as much as I like other body types equally (i,e. ruler/ athletic, top-heavy, bottom-heavy, petite, lean, thick, toned, voluptuous, tall, short etc. etc) but I agree with you Elle, Kim’s curves kinda scared me when I saw that pic lol. Her body seems almost cartoonish to me, I wouldn’t pity her if I saw her on the street but I would most certainly stare because it seems almost unreal to me. I’ve seen other bikini pics of her on this site yes she’s undeniably curvy but her proportions are nowhere near as pronounced as they are here, maybe she’s wearing padding or her dress has a built in corset or something…

I have a curvier body shape myself and like Kim I carry more weight in the lower half of my body. In my opinion her bottom and hips are much larger than her top half. And there isn’t anything wrong with that. That is just the way that she is built naturally.

Moderate curves, yes. Do you have European background or do you still live here? Because I was mainly talking about what guys in Europe like (in my experience). But from what I’ve seen it applies to American guys too though

Culture and race are connected though, maybe a little less in the US but in places like Europe or Asia that are not as heavily mixed it definitely is.
My boyfriend is white and her loves crazy hourglass figures like this and a biiig butt. I am quite curvy (not as much as kim) and my butt is smaller (though still big really). However my bf always says that my bitt could be bigger lol! I dont want him to see Kim because he would love her! Lol. Actually, he is an arse so I dont mind if he leaves me.
Anyway, my ex was white and didnt like big butts (like mine), my other exes were butt men (who said mine was not big, and perfect) and then currentlt he loves big butts (and thinks mine is quite small). Moral of the story- you can’t speak on behalf of a race or gender about preferences for beauty.

Def agree that not all men have the same tastes. I’m going to use my boyfriend as an example. His preference is definitely for curvy girls, the curvier the better(he especially loves a girl in a corset with a perfectly sculpted hourglass figure), loves large boobs, a small waist and a good sized, round bum. He does not care for athletic or skinny figures and finds many of the models out there today unattractive. My ex on the other hand prefers slimmer figures with less exaggerated curves. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.

Agree! I can appreciate curves to a certain extent (like with Sophia Vergara or Halle Berry, I think they look great even if I wouldn’t personally trade bodies), but Kim’s are just so over the top it looks kind of ridiculous in a bad way, especially because she’s so short.

Strangely enough, I think the thin one pulls off a lot better the dress, even if I prefer the fabric on the curvy one – but her body is so exagerrate! And at this point she doesn’t look curvy, she just looks stumpy and short.

Kim is without a doubt very curvy in the true sense of the word. If she looks ‘short and stumpy’ compared to Anna Lynne, that is because she is about 5 inches shorter and much wider in the pelvis.
It’s not just that (I’ve googled her, it’s written she’s about 5’2”). There’s a point in being curvy when you simply are TOO curvy and your curves just make you look like disproportionated: she’s like swallowed by her breasts and ass here, and her limbs looks really short. Also, if you consider that she probably has some kind of spanedx/padding under her dress (she HAS to, experience taught me that even the best hourglass need some “support” in order to enlight your body lines in a dress)…yeah, her WHR isn’t so insane in RL, and she’s more like a blob.
Hourglasses are supposed to be extreme, that’s why only 8% of women can claim to be one! If the curves were less extreme she’d be a vase. I don’t know about the spanx, guess we will have to wait for new bikini pics lol. But looking at her in this particular outfit, she does look very curvy. She told us her waist was 26 inches and hips were 39-40 inches so that is a pretty insane WHR spanx or not spanx!

The reason I don’t find kim’s face that pretty is because she doesn’t have an incredible bone structure. All she has going for her are high cheekbones. Her cheeks are too wide and big and her face is not slender. I like slender faces that are full yet you are still able to make out the bone structure on their face. She would look better if she lost weight, it would make her face look more defined.
and even her nose, brows and lips aren’t my favorite. Nope, can’t find her pretty too. The only thing i could possibly consider attractive would be her hair.

This will sound odd to people but I think she would look better if her thighs were a bit thicker in proportion to her body. Kelly Brook have relatively slim thighs as well but it works a bit better for her because she’s taller and she doesn’t have much of a booty. Kim on the other hand has even bigger hips and a huge butt. However, because her thighs are so slim in these bikini pics her torso looks as though it is bigger than it is because of the proportions. I think of Serena Williams who also has a huge butt, but her bigger thighs give her better proportions.

The term “skinny” here is pretty subjective to the subject. They’re not skinny themselves, but on her body and attached to that butt they are.

This is basically my worst kind of body. It’s useless in terms of sport and physical activity. I find it hard to look at her and see the appeal. I like athletic bodies. Tall, long-limbed, leanish, yet still feminine in a more subtle way. She is OTT like a cartoon character imo. Anna is very very straight in the body, but still preferable because she looks like she can run and jump and do everything physical she chooses, which to me is what life is about. Exessive fat or curves make the body impractical, but it’s good that they are celebrated too so different women feel good about their looks and fgure. Every type of figure has it’s own advantages I guess. The way we judge others depends on what the norm is for us in our families and society, as well as our lifestyle.

Believe me I was always on the curvy side, with both muscle and a proper fat percentage, and on the very short side being 1.50 meters but always had better athletic performance in any sport compared to my always taller and thinner classmates did. Being tall and lean doesn’t necessarily make you a good athlete. Having a low centre of gravity- short people do- is an asset to many sports. I’m short and yet I play volleyball and basketball better than most people taller than me.

LOL! These are professionals, my size allows me to play with women 1.70 meters tall. I don’t know any professional basketball player shorter than 1,85 meters BUT that doesn’t mean there aren’t any short people talented at it. They would be crashed by the tall guys, that’s the reason I stopped going on the basketball team when I was 13. I reached the height I have today when I was 10 but everyone else kept growing (sigh) a lot… And anyway back in my high school the average height of the girls I guess was around 1.65, we weren’t on WNBA or seeking a basketball career.There’s a big difference playing with women taller than 1.75 m and playing with women around 1.65 m.
Ah pretty sure her body can still walk, sit, jump, and just basically live…it can also procreate especially with those hips ;o). I was always short as a teen (still am but i grew a bit) and I was great at Latin American dancing. I was curvaceous and short and muscular and won lots of competitions. Many o the tall girls didnt do well in dancing because their legs weren’t so strong and they didnt seem to have the same sexy movement. Not all though.There were a few good tall ones. Most top latin dancers were small though. Tall girls were great at ballroom though. so elegant.
