From what i understand (but i could be wrong) she is the daughter of a high-powered, very wealthy lawyer. It is very unlikely this girl had to bust her butt for what she has beyond her figure. Daddy probably paid for most of what she has. I don’t think it’s wrong. It’s just that if I were in the same position I would not make such proclamations. It is hypocritical and demeaning to those who are not in that position.
Seriously, this is ALL so ridiculous! Just because you grow up with money, doesn’t mean you had everything handed to you. Personally, my parents have money, I drive a really nice car. But I work and pay my own bills, car payments…etc. Yes, I grew up privileged, and my parents could afford to buy me nice things, and I went to a great school. People misinterpret having MONEY with everything in life is a cake walk. YES, financially it is not nearly as demanding as most people, but like everything else, it has its perk and down sides. The downside being, the people like you, make these comments above assuming she’s basically a rich brat who doesn’t work hard. People seem to be envious of people with money, and ESPECIALLY people with money and good looks. You never know exactly what someone has gone through until you have walked a mile in their shoes. You may think there are a lot of rich people who are snobs…well there are just as many people with less money who are snobs for automatically assuming the worst of people who grew up more fortunate, and I resent that assumption.
Lol, Why do you believe people are envious of her? Good looks are better for women to get by in life but in the end one must be adjusted to being overlooked as they grow older. The younger, hotter thing comes and then your time is over. If you are born ugly and poor then you have no expectations to live up to. It’s quite freeing in some ways.
What does the girl do? She doesn’t act, she doesn’t sing. She’s essentially famous for being a rich, pretty girl. That’s not exactly hard work.

Money gives more opportunities, no doubt, but when you choose to take an opportunity, money doesn’t make anything easier.
It’s like running a marathon. Whether your rich or poor doesn’t make it any easier…the difficulty is the same. The only difference is if you’re rich, more “marathons” are available to you.
But anyway, Kim has done a lot for herself. She’s quite a businesswoman and I think at this point, she is most likely self-sustaining and doesn’t live off of “daddy’s money.”
Also, she never said that SHE works hard. She just said people should work hard to get ahead. I think she realizes that she is privileged to some extent, but that doesn’t mean she just sat on her a** all day mooching off of her dad.
The point is, surely, she is famous because she was in a sex-tape. That’s just horrible, vapid, and cheap.

Doesn’t seem bad compared to families with no money, food, house, clothes, trying to get by week to week and living in fear.

I too agree with Ann! Although I grew up like Casey and Laura, and now i too work and pay my own bills and all that, money gives you more/different opportunities and EVERYTHING is a LOT easier to achieve when you’re financially backed up. My bf and my bestie had no money growing up and they’re doing fairly well now but it takes longer and you actually have to work HARD to get there!!!

her name what be what made her famous, but it’s not what keeps her famous. there are plenty children of rich famous parents who we never hear about. One of the things that keeps her so relevant is people like you saying negative comments about her. you’re still giving her attention

i went to school with rumer willis and her parents went out of their way to protect her privacy. we know about her (sort of) now because she chose to hang out with lindsay lohan and be in that sorority row movie.
Honey it’s not negative, it’s true! And hey, I like Kim, I think she’s gorgeous and her family IS entertaining. But she doesn’t actually DO anything to render her famous, doesn’t have a fame-worthy talent or anything . . . I’m not saying she’s bad.

This interview also proves that she doesn’t have some insane, crazy desire to talk about her weight all the time…it’s what they ask her (I really didn’t think she deserved the, “she only cares about her weight!!!” bashing).
The thing is that, all magazines wants to know about regarding her is her weight, so she gives them what they want. It’s nice for a magazine to ask her some other questions once in a while.

I think that if she is asked other questions by the media, she has more to offer than banter about her weight.
What else could they possibly ask her about? It isn’t like she gives them much to work with! She is the one who posts endlessly about her body and almost nothing else. She has little substance, so any interviewer would be forced to keep the variety of questions to a minimum.
What can they ask her about?
Her family, her boutique, her boyfriend, her fitness DVDs, her styling tips, her foundation…The media should be able to come up with more than just the 2-3 recycled questions they ask her.
Give the girl a break. Lots of Kim haters on here!
I don’t hate Kim, I just think she is extremely vapid and boring. She is not witty or endearing. And I maintain that there is a very limited array of questions you can ask her.

Melissa, in this interview, she shows that she has a lot to talk about besides her weight.
This loving-then-hating cycle with celebrities seems to happen all the time. People LOVE a celebrity (e.g. Britney, Miley, Kim, Lady Gaga) and then when they become popular, everyone gets bored with them and they become hated.
Remember this: you all criticize her for being famous only for having a sex tape and talking about her weight.
But who were the people clicking on the sex tape video or on the articles about Kim Kardashian? Who were the people saying how Kim Kardashian was a great example in Hollywood because she wasn’t a size 0 and how she should be in more magazines?
And now she is. YOU made her what she is. Stop complaining about it. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Yes, they can ask her about her boyfriend, her makeup tips, her “fitness” dvd’s, but is it interesting? No. She has nothing of INTEREST to say. I can ask my friends about their boyfriends and makeup tips. Big deal. I agree w/ Melissa.
I think those things about her are as interesting as any celebrity’s (which to me = boring, that’s why I’m on this site and not on a celebrity hobbies site).
I don’t see why her talking about her boyfriend, her hobbies and her fitness DVD’s are any different than any other celebrity talking about their boyfriend, their hobbies, or their DVD’s. What makes it more boring? (I’m actually asking , not rhetorical). Her comments are about as insightful as any other interview I’ve read.
Well, to Casey, I don’t find it interesting when other celebrities say those things either. I don’t care if ten other celebrities talk about their makeup or boyfriends, VERY few have anything of interest or intellect to say; her being one of them. I agree that her comments are as insightful as most stars’. That’s why I said if I wanted to ask about boyfriends or makeup I’d talk to my FRIENDS. But truly, to me, she is particularly boring.
She still looks like she’s wearing about a pound of makeup.

I think kim is a really beautiful girl, but she talks about weight/fitness so much that it makes her seem really insecure. She’s constantly defending herself– you’re beautiful, let people say what they will!!
Do people find her beautiful because she is different from the norm? In some way exotic? (I hate using that term to describe people!!!)
Because without makeup she looks pretty average and I’m from a culture where people looking like her isn’t a big deal.

HELLO PEOPLE… She talks about her weight so much because the media is ASKING about her weight so much. She’s beautiful and I think her body looks hot now. Yes she was born with money but she does have her own boutique and she markets herself, so that is work to get the attention and the money she wants to have. Can’t we just be happy for the girl?
I think she looks the same here as in any other photos – surely it’s hardly a makeunder if she’s still got make-up on? And I think she looks good, she has a great figure she should be proud of but I’m getting sick of seeing posts about her where she appears to change her values all the time – if you’re so proud of being curvy why should you feel the need to prove you’re skinny all the time?
And also, out of sheer ignorance, why is she famous? It’s pretty obvious you don’t have to do anything or be anybody to be famous now but why is she so well-known?

besides you all get on her about the makeup, she looks the exact same makeupless. so chill.
1) She has a very pretty Armenian face that has been altered with plastic surgery. Personally, from looking at pictures of her youth, I don’t think she needed plastic surgery.
2) In the pictures she is wearing a lot of makeup! We have seen pictures of her without makeup before…I think she looks best with a little bit of mascara and blush.
3) Everyone has their own opinion, but I like her current body and her previously larger frame. I think it’d look better if she didn’t always go for “wam! blam! sexxxxy!”
4) She and her family are marketing geniuses. They may not be intellectually curious, creative, or helping humanity in any way….but they don’t pretend to, either. Think about it…they are famous for DOING NOTHING. And get paid to basically DO NOTHING (whoever says they run that boutique….come on). I currently choose to work my ass off in a doctoral program. Just because I’ve picked a hard route to success does not mean that it’s my place to make fun of this girl for making a buck.
5) She has no credentials in terms of fitness or nutrition. So why get so huffy about her ridiculous quotes? She talks about this topic because people ask about it and she is being paid by QuikTrim (probably in the contract). Combine that with an average intelligence, lack of interesting hobbies, maybe some insecurities, and you get Kim running her mouth about her body. People who are influenced by celebrities in magazines need to find real life role models. Let her make money from inane photo shoots and interviews…lord knows she won’t be on any covers in a couple of years (society’s not very kind to aging women).
Good post. I personally don’t care one way or the other about Kim, but I’m bored/studying and just like to see how quickly I can elicit “you are such a jealous hater” comments from others. They give me quite chuckle.
I think the website owner just likes Kin posts because she is very polarizing and they get lots of posts, but if she wasn’t featured, I wouldn’t bat an eyelash over it.
The different comments and responses are the best part about this website! When everyone agrees, it’s so boring I fall asleep (e.g. Carrie Underwood in a bikini before someone called her pancake-a** lol). I’m totally cool with Kim’s choice of lifestyle and “career”, I just think she comes off as completely full of it most of the time

I think her sex tape and the family obsession with fame is gross, but I am not going to lie, she is a gorgeous woman. And for those who say she is wearing makeup, who cares, she still looks better than me and any other girl i see at a party, with makeup or without.

Umm how is this a makeunder? I could scoop that foundation off her face with a spoon… Also, these pictures have been highly edited. You can tell they tried to slim a bunch of pounds off her hips in the second photo… you can see the white shine from where they edited it but her hips actually still look big!
She’s defently not the 109lbs she claims. I have a tiny asian friend who is 5’2 and 108lbs and she is half of kims size… she doesn’t have the big fake boobs or the big ass… she’s only kidding herself by lying to everyone.

I think she is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, but I agree that she has little to talk about aside from her body. But she’s the one with millions of dollars and we’re not, so I guess you doesn’t really have to be interesting when you look like her.
It is annoying that she vacillates between “loving her curves” and then turning around and trying to prove to the world that she’s a certain size, a certain weight, etc. She has a great body but with that T&A there is no way she weighs 109 even with her recent slim-down. well actually she’s famous for having a sex tape, so still the point stands, that she doesn’t have a specific talent, making a sex tape is not working hard to achieve something. Even if she didn’t everything handed to her by her father, she got to where she is by objectifying herself and selling herself as a ‘sex symbol’.
