Hotties Kelly Brook and Shakira walked the purple carpet at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2010 in Madrid last night – the 2 beauties chose to show off their legs in black platform pumps and golden toned mini-dresses.

Shakiraa’s skin is perfect! She’s so lucky! Kelly brook has an AMAZING body, but her face seems a bit awkward to me. Not ugly by any mean but also no stunner.
Kelly reminds me a lot of Angelina Jolie here, facewise that is! She does look thinner though, in her body and face. Shakira looks quite thin and shrunken though. Maybe her dress is just too big. But also, her makeup is quite bad too.
Kelly’s starting to look a bit generic – too much tan (though it’s miles better here than the last time I saw her), too much make-up and stripper shoes! She looks like she has lost a little weight and she definitely didn’t need to. The dress doesn’t really show off her assets and makes her look bottom heavy thanks to the bunching of fabric. I don’t like the hair either – makes her look older, for some reason.
Shakira looks a bit better. This dress is great on her slim pear shape and I really like the fabric. I think her hair could be better though – it’s looking a bit overworked and dry. Her make-up washes her out – a little more colour would be good. Still looks better than Kelly though!

i think it’s just a not great fitting dress on Shakira, if you look at her arms and legs she looks perfectly healthy

yeah i agree shakira used to be toned but quite volumptious and curvy. she has definitely lost weight as her career has progressed and her waist to hip ratio has completely changed if you look back to pics from around 2001.
looking at their makeup styles they are such opposites. Shakira wins hands down for being so lovely and natural. i wish celebs would stop wearing such ridiculous false lashes. i remember an african girl on tv saying she thought the way us westerners do our eyes up makes them look like spiders legs. lol. i see her point with those things kelly brooke is wearing!
Kelly didn’t need to lose any weight because it goes off her face and she looses her beauty and looks older I like when it is a bit fuller. Also she is one of the luckiest girls out there who look fabulous with +/- 10 pounds equally.
The same for Shakira – looks younger and fresher when she is bigger. I like her body at this weight though.
I think that’s true of so many people who lose weight – it ages them. When Nicole Richie lost all the weight and was stick thin she looked like an old woman! She looks way better now that she has levelled out a bit – but still older than when she was chubby. Fat fills out the face and makes you look younger – that’s just a fact!

I thought Kelly was Katherine Heigl! They really look alike. Shakira has been getting thinner and it’s starting make her age more apparent.

don’t get the hoopla with kelly at all. just average to me. shakira is very cute, i love her petite hourglassy shape. she also looked good when she was slightly bigger which i preferred personally on her.

GORGEOUS DRESSES. they really picked the right color and style for each of them. the dresses work with their coloring and their body type. people with more olive skin tones and darker eyes look fantastic with these kinds of dresses. anne hathaway, for example, wouldn’t look as striking, and sticks to brighter colors. great choices girls.

it’s very interesting how shakira is back to her normal size so quickly… i mean, a few posts ago she was so much tinier. and she said it was because she was intensely dieting and exersizing for her new video… that can’t be too healthy. she looks gorgeous either way, even though i prefer thinness.
If I remember correctly, someone posted a link on that very thread showing the video had been stretched vertically so it made her look much slimmer. The photos of her making the video show her at her usual size.
I dont think she has to much make up, just over use of false lashes. I prefer kellys figure but shikria looks better.

I dislike both dresses, especially Kelly’s. The material just reminds me of a high school formal in the 90′s. I actually think Kelly looked better with lighter hair. Shakira is beautiful, as always but her hair looks a bit cheap?

Curvy isn’t really my favorite body type, (unless it’s on Candice Swanepoel), but I have to say that Kelly’s body is an exception. She manages to look very slim and only slightly curvy in dresses, yet very curvy in bikinis. That’s quite an achievement. And she manages to have slim legs, despite her curvy hips.

I prefer Kelly much better! She’s a natural beauty and can pull off everything. Besides i love her new hairstyle: this color is more like her natural and makes her intelligent and sofisticated and great lenth!
I normally adore Kelly because she has the one of the best bodies I’ve ever seen but that dress is doing nothing for her fantastic figure. And her makeup is terrible.
Shakira looks good but that hair color is awful on her. I think a light shade of brown would suit her better.

shakira has better ‘presence’ than kelly despite being much shorter…I know kelly has the ‘better body’ but kelly’s body seems like it’s only meant to be seen in bikinis, lingerie, or with as little clothing as possible, nothing else about her stands out other then the curves of her body…she’s doesn’t have much of a ‘presence’ or wow -factor when she’s fully dressed, and her face is uninteresting and only regular pretty…she could put on a pair of jeans and a plain top and go out in the streets, and look like a regular woman without anyone noticing her… anyways, I’m not crazy about shakira’s hair, but she’s really rocking that dress here, her body is looking its best and her face is radiant.
