Katherine Heigl – 1 Girl, 2 Dresses
March 19, 2010 in 1 Girl 2 Outfits, Katherine Heigl by Versus

Katherine Heigl was spotted at 2 different events this week – and she chose one red dress and golden pumps for one of them and a plain black dress and interesting (Wow or Eww??) boots for the second one.
How do you guys find these dresses on her figure?
And since we get to see her new and much darker hair color better, I’ll ask you again: Makeover or Makeunder?

it’s the ugliest boots I have ever seen!
so in this case, I prefer the red one. cute.
oh the hair.. makeunder. she is nothing special as a brunette, blonde suited her better imo.
She looks really nice in the first dress, it emphasises her curves and makes her waist look tiny. She looks uncomfortable in the second dress, it doesnt do much for her shape and the boots are just yucky….
not a fan of her, not a fan of her fashion sense..
She’s a lovely girl (I actually like the black hair)…The second outfit is horrible:
- the hair is messy (and the dye job is amateuristic)
- the dress does NOTHING for her, in fact, CREATES lumps and bumps, and makes her arms look huge
- the boots make her knees look flabby and thick, and the fabric is ugly
the first dress is okay (not a fan of he fabric, but nice shape)
the second dress makes her look bigger than she is
and I hate the haircolor and the boots
No. 1: wow
No. 2 eeewww…
the hair is o. k. but I think she should turn back to blond.
Her body looks very strange in the black dress, and she’s clearly uncomfortable in it – dare I say it makes her look lumpy…
She looks great with the dark hair and I really wish she would do another Judd Apatow movie had she not inserted her foot in her mouth …..maybe all the way down her throat ….she has comedic timing.Nevertheless like the first outfit not the second …..plus those missioni meets emilio pucci boots are fugly.
wow.. i get sick when I look at those boots
of course i’m of a different opinion than everyone else:
1. pink dress – ugly cheap prom like dress; would wear it if i was 15
2. lbd, looking great, making her slim and AMAZING boots
I agree with you…
I love the boots!
And the red dress had a malfunction: one of the straps broke while she was on stage.
oh yes, i saw that; another minus for the dress.
- not in love with the 1st dress, but its a lot better than the 2nd.
- second dress itself is just blah, but i hate the boots, i think she looks like an awkward preteen in the photo and the way she is standing makes her look…well, not heavy at all…just sort of puffy or something. when she is clearly not.
- she is such a beautiful woman with an absolutely amazing figure. yet, she doesn’t really ever seem to dress well…it always looks a bit frumpy and not well styled. its like she lets her mother style her or something – its always a little blah, a little too old for her, not completely figure flattering, and never brings anything new to the table in terms of new trends or styles. she actually looks better in casual wear, because for formal, she seems to go for the 50′s housewife look, like she did here. which, as someone else said, just reads as cheap prom dress.
-and finally. the hair. its not bad. its cute. looks sort of ‘old hollywood,’ she she seems to like, but it looks more costume-y old hollywood than glamour. ScarJo does that look well (and they have a similar natural look – curvy but trim bodies, usually blonde hair, full lips, but i actually think katherine is not only prettier but i like her figure slightly better) – she takes it far enough so we see what she is doing, with red lips, retro dresses, waves in her hair, but keeps the patterns fresh and shows enough skin and has things fit properly so they look modern not costume-y. its like katherine tries too had for it. anyways, back to the hair – i just prefer her as a blonde. she looks good dark, but i like blonde better. maybe cause her eyebrows are still pretty light, it looks a little cheap to me…but in that movie with gerard butler, her blonde also looked cheap…so, maybe katherine is on some budget for hair/clothes/styling that we are unaware of. lol.
I actually really like the haircolor on her.
makeover!
*screams and covers face* aaaahhhhhhhhhh!!
not the worst I’ve seen on her though.
The amazing thing is that she’s clearly a very attractive, slim lady, but everytime I see her I have to remind myself of this.
Not keen on the pink dress, although it is more flattering.
The black dress would look better if she didn’t look so lumpy.
And those boots should be burned.
I always find her wardrobe choices to be a little off. I’m not a fan of the pink dress but it flatters her more than the black one. I agree with other posters that it makes her more lumpy and she’s got a great figure.
I think she looks great in these pics, not a huge fan of either dress but i think she rocks the dark hair! looks good.
I think that I do prefer her as a blonde, but this is a nice change, I recently went dark after years of being a blonde myself and I understand that sometimes you just want to do something different and also give your hair a break
if you’re gonna go that dark fix those eyebrows
When I looked at the picture on the right I didn’t even recognize her!
That hair colour looks amazing on her. She is so gorgeous.
Oh, HEIDI! Take it from a girl who knows all about saddlebags- you do NOT wear a tight, body hugging dress like that if you want to look hot!
Yikes…
She looks like Fran Drescher w/ the dark hair. I liked her blonde better
she’s so cute!
