Kate Hudson Talks Being “Imperfect”
May 17, 2010 in Celebrity Quotes, Kate Hudson by Versus

Kate Hudson was in the celebrity body gossip this month, as tabloids were claiming that Kate got a boob job – see the post here. From The Telegraph:
“I’m pretty comfortable with my body. I’m imperfect. The imperfections are there. People are going to see them, but I take the view you only live once.”
But…
I don’t like watching myself on the big screen at the best of times. I hardly recognized myself in [The Killer Inside Me]. I’d gained a little weight. I wasn’t working out.”
… says Kate.

A lot of actors don’t like watching themselves. And just bc she’s pretty comfortable with her body, doesn’t mean she’s not a tad bit uncomfortable as well, especially when she’s watching it on the big screen, when she’s also portraying another person. Meh, i think what she’s saying sounds pretty common.
“I’m comfortable with my body”…yeaaah coming from the woman who just got a boob job. Or maybe she means now she’s comfortable with her body. I know how it is to get of schedule with diet and workout, hard getting back to routine, but Kate looks great here.
You know what I really like about Kate? The fact she had never done anything to her ears. As long as they stay where they are I’m cool with her
she has a chubby round face. that could be why she hates seeing herself on flim, specially in closeups. i have a chubby face and neck and it sucks cause from neck up i look fat and neck down im thin. i hate my headshots cause they make me look like a cow when i wear size 2 jeans. meh. most days i would trade my sculpted thin claves for thick pear shape ones just to have a thin face
p.s. being an apple shape sucks! lol
haha i agree. but we will never look gaunt and sick when we’re older:) my mum is 57, petite, 5’3, 110 pounds but her face looks so young because of the full cheeks. everybody thinks she’s atleast 10 years younger! plus that she’s very stylish and has never worn frumpy clothes:)
thank you for the positivie outlook you gave me hope lol
Having a chubby face doesn’t have anything to do with your body type. I have an hourglass shape, am lean overall and I have a fairly chubby face. It’s mostly the bone structure of the face I think.
true, also ethnicity. im eastern earopean and we are known for round chubby faces. think anna kournikova http://patrishka.wordpress.com/2009/04/12/without/anna-kournikova-nomakeup/
I think it does a little bit, girls who are v shaped (broad shoulders, big boobs, narrow hips & thin legs) tend to carry more weight in their faces. I agree that its *mostly* bone structure and genetics, but I don’t think its fair to entirely discount body type.
