A fit and toned Kate Hudson in tiny black outfits posed for Elle Magazine this month and she brought 2 interesting quotes in the mix:
On why she loves being a woman:
I love being a girl. I love clothes and I love the rituals of facials and body treatments, all the stuff girls get, make-up, scarves, hats. And we’re like a tribe. That’s just our nature. You get a group of women together and, somehow, we keep it together. I love that we can be that powerful, as a group. Men, you know, it’s survival of the fittest.
On why she loves Botox:
Everyone’s so obsessed with who gets Botox, but it’s great! Are you kidding? The fact that women can avoid going under the knife and get a little Botox treat and not have to worry about it? I’m glad it’s there for when it’s time.

Her “girl- quote” really gets on my nerves. Seriously, she’s a grown up woman with a son, not a “girl”. She should have a little more to say, than “nail polish is cool” and “being a woman is great for shopping”. I know it’s Elle, but come on! And the botox thing with “I’m glad it’s there for when it’s time.”. Like she wouldn’t do it already. If you wanna be honest, be it 100%.

She looks super fit but I disagree about her comment about women being like a tribe.
I think there is and will always be women-women competition and men-men competition. Women will always compete against each other to be the prettiest, the youngest…etc…things that are important for our gender to be able to reproduce. Men will always compete with each other to be the strongest, to have the more resources, which are things that are imporant for them to reproduce.
And in both genders, you will find friendships and groups being formed where people help each other and enjoy each other’s company. I don’t think that’s a solely women’s trait and I think it’s ignorant to think so. It’s always survival of the fittest for everyone, and it’s always about forming tribes…because tribes help people to survive by giving resources and emotional support.
I agree. I find it annoying when celebrity females say that women are just catty and jealous towards each other (esp. if u’re sexy/powerful, aka “threatening”) OR that it’s a world wide sisterhood, when you’re gonna find friends and enemies of your own gender man or woman, rest is up to your persona.
She looks so photoshoped…she is hot amazing…fabulous…she is fit toned skinny…and beautiful but why photoshop?the world seeks for perfection…beauty isnt enough these days.
She looks great…natural not cropped and distorted. I like her comments because they are “her.” Just because you may no agree with her outlook or view on somethings, at least respect the fact that she is willing to put herself out there and have an opinion.
The first two photos look pretty awesome. The last one is kind of blah.

I think my hsoulder look like hers but im bigger at the bottom.
Is it a bad th have broad shoulders?
I don’t think so. I wish my shoulders were broader to balance out my (wider) hips. I’m really thin, so the top half of me looks like a child’s but the bottom half looks like a woman’s. I wish both halves looked like a woman’s.
O cause sometimes i get comments from boys & men saying my shoulders are broad etc.
i have a curvier shape though. Only thing is the top of me has more bone structure then bam you see a big bottom and thighs….so im obviously pear shaped. Trynna tone down my bottom though so it matches more.
It doesn’t even look like her. These Elle people are really taking it too far… Jeez
