Celebs at the Weinstein Company and Montblanc Cocktail: Kate, Emmy and Malin

The Weinstein Company and Montblanc International hosted a cocktail event to honor UNICEF at The Soho House West Hollywood yesterday and lots of celebs showed up – here’s a bunch:
1. Kate Bosworth (27) looking skinny in pointy golden heels and an interesting kinda looks dirty dress.
2. Emmy Rossum (23) looking slim in a double-layer black number.
3. Malin Akerman (31) looking slim as well in a purple / burgundy dress.

Not feeling any of these dresses that much but I adore Malin and if her dress was less structured and more fit in the middle like where her waist is it would look a lot better.

don’t like these dresses… but if i’d have to wear one of them, i think i’d wear Malin’s. but at least they do what they want, so i’m not shocked. it’s just there are prettier dresses, especially when you’ve got money !

the color is awful, the tissue looks like a carpet and seems really rigid, nothing really fits, like if the designer didn’t know exactly what he wanted the dress to look like. there is the folded cross on her chess, then the two black rectangles on her sides (wtf!?), and the skirt really doesnt work AT ALL it is just so sadly falling without fluidity nor volume, and the cut is really messed up because it gets under her stomach and then goes up to her wait; UH? I mean, whaaaaat? Can someone really look at this and say : Wow this is cute.
I don’t like any of the dresses, but the girls are all beautiful so i don’t mind it, i can kinda get past the atrocious outfits. Something positive: i love the color of Malin’s dress, the shape of Kate’s outfit is nice and Emily’s black piece is quite neutral which makes it ok in my eyes, not as ugly as the other two.
I really like Kate’s dress, it suits her well. Emmy has SUCH a pretty face. The colours of Malin’s dress look great with her skin/hair.

I like Malin’s Dress ,just not her body shape.I wish she had slightly more proportionate calves and a smaller waist. However she can’t control that. She looks very nice though:)

That’s because I have the exact same measurements, although 4″ shorter, @_@ and can’t seem to fit into any of their categories. Even among the most basic shapes, I can’t decide. =(

I use Trinny and Susannah’s categories when nothing else fits (from the 5 basic shapes).
It’s hard to tell Emmy’s shape, because I’ve never seen her in a bikini and she doesn’t wear super-tight dresses.
My best guess is… a thin skittle – she is just a tiny bit “bigger” on the bottom, she has a nice waist/hip curve and she’s quite proportionate. She is close to a vase also, although she doesn’t have a particularly big bust.

It actually looks like her ribcage is narrow, but her shoulders are in good proportion with her hips. And I think her thighs should be thicker if she were a skittle. =/ But I don’t know.
