Why are celebrity perfume ads so notorious for being so scarily photoshopped? Generally they are always over the top.

It’s named “Fancy Nights” because her first perfume was called “Fancy” and I guess it was for daytime, now this one is for nights…I think perfume ads for celebrities should be just on their face. Like Jessica’s first ad, it looked great! This reminds me of one of Paris Hilton’s perfume ad.
I don’t usually even bother trying the celebrity perfumes. I always find them to look/smell tacky and cheap. Britney Spears, Kat Von D, Kim Kardashian, and others just all smell so blah/yuck to me. I haven’t tried SJP, that’s the only one I can think of off the top of my head. Anyway, her waist is obviously made a lot thinner. The bottle is truelly tacky, but it’s a Jessica Simpson perfume what do you expect.
I agree with you. Celebrities perfumes smell very unusual. That is because those perfumes are made especially (!!!) for them. Celin Dione tell in an interview(when she launch her perfume) how it is start. They give her a questionnaire with many-many pages containing questions about her habbits, skin tipe, har colour, alimentation and so on. That is the reason for stars scents do not match to anyone. But … it is sells well.

I’m inclined to agree… except with the Victoria Beckham one — can’t remember which — but I really, really like that one.

it doesnt really look like her body was photoshopped though her face does look a little thinner, idk, but it does remind me of the vampire craze that is going on right now dark kind-of romanticism. i dont like celebrity perfumes either, my cousin had britney spears curious and after 3 mos it like spoiled or something because it smelled horrible!
