Jessica Simpson Hired a “Food Cop” to Help Her Lose Weight

Various sources say that Jessica Simpson just hired coach Mike Alexander to help her lose weight - A Star Magazine insider says…
“She just can’t resist junk food. She literally needs to be watched 24/7. Jessica has a problem with binge eating, which is usually triggered by stress… The snitch adds, “Jessica’s most recent violation was indulging in the terrible trio of chicken wings, nachos, and booze at the Great Dane Pub in Madison Wisconsin.”
This is not the first time Jessica hired a “food cop” - Mike also helped her to get in shape for her Daisy Dukes role:
Alexander lived in a house with Simpson during the three months she was in Baton Rouge last fall shooting Dukes. “I ate every meal with her so I could tell her what to order,” says Alexander, who encouraged Simpson to eat grilled chicken, seared fish, broccoli and asparagus. She avoided bread baskets brought to the table and declined extra sugar for her iced tea. Free desserts brought to the table were refused.
How much will Jessica be allowed to eat every day? No more than 1250 calories!
Who’s disappointed and who’s happy that she intends to lose weight?










Ridiculous. That is why her weight will always fluctuate. Maintaining weight means adopting a lifestyle. 1250 calories is not even healthy for MOST (not all) people. For most people it takes a minimum of 1200 calories to meet the minimum nutrient requirements.
She needs to find a diet (not as in “on a diet,” but a lifestyle) and workout regime that she can keep long term.
I agree with that. She needs something than she can hold on too more than two months. That coach won’t live with her all year long. It’s just the proof that Jessica is not naturally skinny, and when she is skinny (as in her Daisy Dukes days) she really have to work for it and that it is not sustainable in the long run.
THANK YOU RUNNER GIRL! Finally someone acknowledges that a 1200 calorie diet is a crash diet, not a lifestyle change. And yes, the rule of thumb for women is multiply your weight by 10, and this gives you your basal metabolism… i.e. the number of calories it takes JUST for your body to do its regular functions, breathing, etc. Why not just eat healthy, get all of the servings of each food group, get your whole grains, and work out? Your metabolism will sky-rocket if you eat healthy ever two-three hours. People are so stupid and lazy. UGH.

This is so sad… Weeks ago, she was saying how she loved being curvy. Yes, she’s a celebrity and the public expects stick-thin women, but she still looked beautiful at that weight. Did the media get to her or is this all one big publicity op?
With this one, its ALWAYS about the publicity… anything to stay in the spotlight. I used to feel sorry for her, but now I just wish she’d SHUT UP and go away. She’s pretty, got a nice boyfriend who puts up with her stupidity and insecurities, she’s rich- WHY MUST SHE ALWAYS HAVE ATTENTION!? Just live your life, already!

It’s good to hear she’s trying to eat better, but awful to hear how she’s doing it. Restrictive eating almost always leads to the binge eating like she is said to do. I would be telling that guy to *beep* off, let me eat some real food, and show me how to maintain better eating that way with out overly depriving myself.

I think it’s great if she is intent on getting HEALTHY and making lifestyle changes she can stick to FOR LIFE. I just don’t want to see “Jessica packs on the pounds” headlines in a few months…again. She is the worst yo-yoing celeb I’ve ever seen.
All these ‘insiders’ and ‘sources’ or ‘close friends’ from these trashy magazines like Star or whatever are always for certain bullsh*****. Especially when they write out a whole story about what the celebrity is doing, how their doing it and even more crazier..how they feel. Fair enough: the celebrity, if very desperate could be using their agent or manager to send a story secretly to the magazine so they can publish it, thinking that it comes from an inside source or whatever. But i know anyone close to her would probably not do any of this without her consent. I just think it’s all ridiculous and it sounds to fake and cheesy. I get so angry at articles like this. They have ones about Jennifer and Brad and Angelina every week or so, and it’s always like “ANGIE KICKS BRAD OUT” and then in the article says stuff like “she’s just sick of the way he treats her”. I’m sorry but it is all a load of rubbish in my opnion. Jessica may be hiring a food cop or whatever crazy sh** that is, but i doubt this is fully accurate.
i just saw the alexander thing. Okay so maybe they got him to say it, because it has his name and if it wrote his name w/o consent he could sue…but the first one i bet is totally a lie.
i agree, i think most things tabloids publish are so absurd they aren’t even rumors, just something someone makes up on a whim. No one really knows anything about celelbrities anyways, it is all just a portrayed image/personality. I believe that thing about alexander is likely true though, because she was seriously small for her daisy dukes roll!! I think its fine if she wants to eat healthier and work out but whatever. Oh and i can’t say i wouldnt want a food coach around sometimes when im tempted by sweets!
I don’t think she’s that big. I think she just needs to exercise, tone up and choose better outfits. Cutting back on junk food is not a bad idea but I don’t really like dieting where you count calories.

Honestly, enough is a enough! People need to eat to live and Jess just chooses to eat junk. As much as I just love reading about celebrity diets… this Jess “is fat” story is getting out of hand. But… perhaps she is putting this upon herself because I remember when she and Nick Lachey were married, they were in the tabloids WEEKLY for no apparent reason until they got divorced.
Its funny how Jessica Simpson was being praised a few weeks ago for being healthy who has an unhealthy habit of eating poorly (who obviously didn’t look healthy at all) and people like Mischa Barton is criticized only for being healthy.
Ummm, Mischa isn’t healthy either.
