Jessica Alba Won’t Let Her Family Eat White Foods
April 2, 2009 in Jessica Alba by Versus

Jessica Alba keeps her post-baby body slim by avoiding processed foods — and implementing a “white no bite” diet, meaning she eats no white flour or sugar, reports Life & Style.
Alba, who quickly shed the 35 to 40 pounds she gained while pregnant with daughter Honor Marie, now 9 months, is making her whole family follow her strict diet.
“In order for her to stay thin, she needs everyone to be eating how she is,” an insider told Life & Style. “Even at restaurants, Jess will tell her mom to stay away from something.”

Wow love her outfit here! Insanely cute
I must say I don’t really take all these supposed diets seriously. I bet she just works out like crazy and doesn’t eat more than 1500 cals a day so stay at that weight.
I would not want to be her family. I love my cheesburgers and bread and sweets, and I loook very healthy.
You can still have all that stuff with out eating white/processed flours and sugars. Just eat whole grain breads, and raw sugar or honey. Or sweets/snacks found in the “natural food” sections of stores. IMO, they taste better than the overly processed stuff, and I feel loads better since I made the small changes to whole wheat breads, and making sure a good portion of what I eat isn’t full of artificial sweeteners or HFCS. I even switched to honey in my morning cup of coffee, and to me the coffee tastes better, the honey helps to cut through the bitterness of the coffee
Hmmm, kinda rambly, sorry about that
IMO, though, I don’t think her switch to unprocessed flour and sugar is the secret to her losing the baby weight. Wish they would quit trying to fool us with that tripe.
Ditto! Cutting out processed foods/flours/sugars is the best thing you can do. Never felt better in my life! It won’t really help you lose the weight by itself though, you will need to cut or burn calories too.
If I had junk food in my house, I would eat it. Junk calls my name, that’s why I don’t buy it. I would do the same if I were her.
I can understand her trying to resist any junk food in her way, but to have your EXTENDED family on the same diet is just a little too much.
Maybe she exagerates twards her husband and mom, but she should deffenetly apply this diet to her daughter (off course when she’ll be able to ask for food
And since when eating healhy food is considered to be a “strict diet”?
That is retarded and selfish. Did she have the “white no bite” diet before her pregnancy? Probably not. It’s call portion control and exercise, really it’s not that difficult.

this is the LAMEST thing Ive ever read…
That sounds very healthy to not have refined foods, since they’re disasterous. I hope she doesn’t tell her mom not to eat them at restaurants. That’d be going a bit overboard.
Switching to whole grains did not make her loose weight as others have pointed out. Like she said earlier, she put herself through hell to loose the weight. Hopefully she’s not too crazy with the exercising and eating. She’s always had an awesome curvy, yet sporty body and I hope she doesn’t go overboard.
By eating healthy and exercising she should be setting a good example for her daughter unless she does goes overboard and crazy.
don’t believe everything you read…
….for those of you that think this story is true (or NOT exaggerated at all) then you are naive. i’m sure she’s strict with her diet, but stronly encourages her family to eat a healthy diet too. there’s nothing extreme about cutting crap food out anyway.
jessica alba looks great right now, and im sure most girls wud kill for her bodyy, its slim yet cute thighs/hips and ofcourse that famous booty!! she looks soo cute and that haircut cut like 10 years off, she looks like a teenager mom.
Yea, girls would kill for that body, namely themselves. Her body isn’t perfect, she’s keeping herself slimmer than she should be, IMO.
First of all she hasn’t lost all the weight she gained during her pregnancy she used to be so slim the same tabloid ran a story about her weighing 110lbs. its ok to diet and follow a strict rule but it aint fair to make everyone around you do it.Dieting is miserable and i wouldnt inflict misery on people i love just because i want to be skinny.
Cutting all the crap off IS good an healthy and I wish my family lots of hapiness
Anyway, I never belive stuff like that. They’re always exagerated.

i gained at least 40 lbs during my own pregnancy. after i gave birth in march, i changed my diet (i.e., what i eat, the word “diet” doesn’t necessarily mean restricting calories, etc.) i went semi-vegetarian. i stopped eating pork, then red meat, then slowly started cutting out chicken, and got my protein from beans and lentils (but i still continued to eat eggs and cheese). i started eating whole wheat pasta and rice (i’ve been eating whole wheat bread for years already, i LOVE bread). more fruits, more veggies, none of that processed stuff because really, there is nothing good in it for you. it only wreaks havoc on your body. i stopped drinking so much juice, and drank more water (200 calories for a glass of apple juice? i’d rather eat an apple and drink plain water, at least i’d get the fibre to fill my stomach).
i lost every single bit of those 40 lbs in 4 months. i didn’t go overboard with exercising at all. i hate exercising, but i stuck with a 30 min cardio 2-3 times a week.
it’s dumb to think that cutting out white flour and sugar out of your diet is insane. what’s more insane is to keep stuffing yourself with unhealthy junk and claim that people who actually think and care about what they put into their body are being extreme. come on. sure some people can eat like pigs with nothing to show for it, but for the majority of us, you are what you eat.
