Here’s Jessica Alba’s photo shoot for June’s Elle Korea – it’s got lots of fabulous clothes and outfits, edgy platform shoes, lots of accessories, big hair and a thin and smooth-skinned Jessica.
How do you guys Jessica as a model? Is she more talented as an actress?

The “first”...
Gorgeous! She looks great. Her ears look huge in the first pic tho..
Haha this made me laugh though it’s so true! She looks lovely in the last pic.
I call elongated photoshop legs in the first one… and I’m not really feeling the “aloof”/no smile face thing… Lost her character! At the same time she does look a decade younger. Hard to believe she has a kid!!
She obviously looks gorgeous. But I think her look is more mainstream than high fashion so some of the pieces (the Alexander McQueen in particular) look like they’re wearing her rather than the other way around. Her body looks really great though.
i was thinking the same thing! her face is too “plain” for this type of modeling, but she would be perfect for commercial modeling (or even TV commercials).
While I am not a big fan of her’s (her acting abilities are lacking, and she hardly ever smiles), she looks phenomenal in these photos! Photoshop or not.
I really like all the pairs of shoes!

Well… they made her look korean alright (except for the photoshopped legs that is).

Haha that made me laugh..In all her recent shoots she looks a little oriental because of the amount of eye makeup. I don’t like this shoot at all.
Is she more talented as an actress?Haha, no way..!
And I don’t know why people like those legs..I have very thin legs too (short legs though ) and I would prefer shaplier and full legs anyday over skinny legs

Barbie legs were the first thing I thought. They seriously look like they’re made of plastic.

She looks so much better with dark hair.
Hispanic women look better with their natural hair colour imo.
Is it just me or does that first image look like they’ve Photoshopped her face to look more Asian? And I think they’ve lightened her skin slightly too.

I don’t think they’ve done anything. She doesn’t look Asian to me. She just looks like a white person with their eyes half closed.
I do think they did something though because it looks like she has enormous bat ears, which I don’t see in the other photos and have never seen in candids.
Why can’t my legs look like her?
Oh yeah, I’m a dancer. I actually do things with them. Unfortunate.

(I’m sure her legs ARE photoshopped to look longer, there’s a tendency to do that in Korean fashion magazines – it’s not like she asked them to, it’s just common practice.)

I would have preferred smokier makeup but I think the neutral/pastel thing is more on trend at the moment.

I looove the clothes, can’t even choose a favorite. For a fashion shoot, she’s doing well imo, she has the body for the clothes (and a pretty face) but my focus doesn’t go on her.

She is a much better mode. I saw her present at the mtv movie awards and she seemed so bitchy when giving her award to Rob Pattinson, she was soo standoffish..

The shoes are to die for. There’s the average amounts of photoshop, but I think she’s beautiful. So she doesn’t smile a lot, the paparazzi harasses her when she’s out with her kid, I’d love to see any of you be like ‘o how pleasant for you to interrupt my lunch with your cameras! Charming! Lovely! Thankyou tthank you! I have cellulite, stray hairs, and black heads today but please take my picture!’ Seriously. They want a response from the celebrities. Its the paps job. Anyway, she look lovely, and has a fab body.

The paps have shouted have shouted racial slurs at her on TMZ. I can see why she doesn’t look too pleased to see them.
You know there are tons of celebrities who do smile politely for the cameras, even when they are out with their kids. She’s obviouly just a bitch.

I think she has on huge earrings in the first photo, which is why her ears look so big. Even though she has a modelesque figure, her face and expressions are too conventionally pretty for modelling.

Photoshopped legs + lame facial expressions = every photo shoot Jessica Alba’s ever done. Her stanky attitude makes her gross and she is no model!
Meh, all these shoots look the same. The ridiculously elongated legs and plastic barbie doll photoshop job. Not impressed.
They seem that they try to strech her legs to make them look taller.In the last picture her face looks just perfect,really beautiful.Love the outfits

i don’t think they photoshopped her to look more asian. jessica alba just has a versatile look. in asia, rounded features like soft jaw, small nose, less defined features are considered “asian” and a strong jaw, defined nose, prominent features are considered “white”. here jessica would have a small nose, but in asia she has a bigger nose – but thats not a bad thing! its interesting to compare beauty standards because in eastern asia people want to keep their skin light and make their noses higher while people in the US reduce their nose size and want tanner skin!

She still has depth to her eye sockets, big double eyelids, high nose bridge, longer nose, etc. It’s kind of sad how little people recognise Asian features because they are so rare in western media.

The reason she is feature on elles korea mag is because an asian girl’s boyfriend broke up with her cause he was obssessed with jessica alba. Well the girl got plastic surgery to look more like miss alba to win him back….true story…google it
The Asian girl was Chinese, not Korean.
Jessica’s also been in Korean Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan and she’s done some Korean adverts a lot of these precede the story about the Chinese woman wanting surgery.
The reason she’s doing the shoot is because she’s popular in Korea and has a fan presence there. Much like Daniel Henney does.

I don’t understand her appeal–she’s pretty, but average. Maybe I’m just used to this look. If everyone is so into her look, then more Hispanic girls, like the ones I grew up with (and the one I am), should just become public figures of some sort.
I don’t particularly like the outfits, but her body is literally perfection, like its the image in all women’s minds when they diet and want to lose weight
