Jennifer Lopez and Victoria Beckham Are the Same Size, Says Posh

That’s right – let’s find out the details from Us Weekly:
They’re both multi-tasking moms and wives, fashion icons, and pop music veterans, but Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez share one more thing in common, believe it or not: dress sizes!
Although Lopez as is famous for her curves as Beckham is for her rail-thin frame, Beckham tells 10 magazine (via The Cut) that they actually fit into the same dresses.
Discussing her fashion line to the magazine, Beckham, 34, says, “My dresses are for women of all different shapes and sizes. Actually, the one I tried on yesterday was the one Jennifer wore.”
Posh herself sounds as surprised as anyone, adding, “Who’d have thought I’d be the same size as Jennifer Lopez!”
The British star doesn’t note what that exact dress size is.
Even with three sons underfoot, Beckham has said frequently that she still hits the gym seven days a week. “I run so quick after a double espresso, my [sneakers] are on fire! They have sparks!” she says.
Ryan Seacrest, who worked alongside Beckham when she was a guest judge on American Idol, observed that she eats “perfectly… [she says], ‘I’m getting the steamed this, the steamed that.’”

J lo would be a uk size 10. Victoria would be a uk size four.
They are not even near the same dress size lol!

I doubt Victoria Beckham would say such a stupid thing. She’s one of the few celebrities that is aware of how thin they are. This is either being exaggerated out of context, or made up.
Yep, I really admire that VB admits she works damn hard to stay in shape. And she is actually in shape, from the sounds of it she does HIIT which is extremely difficult to do, only someone who is majorly fit can do the workouts she does.

If they found one dress that fits them both it does not mean they are actually the same size. This sounds just too stupid to be true, most probably Victoria said something and then the person writing the article took it out of context or whatever to make it more ‘dramatic’.
I agree. I think she did say it, they tried on the same dress and it was really elastic or something and that’s it. I’ve seen it happen before. And she was obviously JOKING about being the same size as Jennifer, like “who would of thought that possible?”
Whatever other people’s opinion is, I don’t think Victoria would want Jennifer’s body, she’s always trying to look thinner than she is.

As for the size thing, it is possible they have the same size waist, but Posh’s legs are much thinner than J-Lo! so there is no way those two are fitting into the same jeans!
The do NOT have the same waist size. Just look at the pictures, it is clear. Victoria’s waist is definitely no bigger than 23″ while J.Lo is probably around 27″

I recall her stating in many of her interviews that she hates working out and never does. Funny how it changes all the time.
It’s also hard to imagine her in a pair of sneakers … unless they have heels glued to them.
I really don’t see the point of her comment and what she is trying to prove by it. She is not even close to JLO’s body type.

I can believe it. My sister is 5ft7 and 120lbs, and I am a guy who is 5ft9 and 150lbs, and we share many pairs of skinny jeans.
Don’t forget that you, as a guy, have a proportionally thinner lower body than most women. She’s probably pear-shaped and you probably have a masculine v-shape.
She and I have the same body shape.. think we’re apples (thinner legs, can carry weight more easily on our stomachs, both have broader shoulders than hips)
However, I do have a lower body fat percentage than her, which may have something to do with this

In some part i agree with you. It is known V.B. love her figure.
You know … time is ticking away.
And some point, some of people, realize something about them self it isn’t satisfactory/sufficient.
Ususaly they not saying: ok! I exagerated or I not obtain what I want in my life to be like thet. I am not plesed with myself.
So when realize this, they compare the situation: what if … (was like that or do that in the past …). They not saying directly theyr regrets. So they descend desired image to they level by comparing. In her case: image.
Because Victoria it is a very smart woman, calculated.
And if she want to say something, you must read between the lines. She’s not a spoke person, not have the talent of speech. (I’m not saying it is wrong … just some people not have this speciality; the mother-nature not endowed her with that. And she know it!) She love attention. But, compared with other public persons, she know how to make an image. She knowingg herself very well, all her assets and trying to do not mistakes. That is the reason she using to speak by image, aspects.
I think she and her husbend have problems like other people on this Earth. But in theyr case, the media have an eye on them. I bet! All the care for the image and problem solving about they lifes, family, estates, money, bussines are in she’s hand. I’m not saying that to disgrace or to offend. I just want to point something: in a world which the image is an important form of communication, a person who have the talent to “make” images it is very strong, inventive, ingenious.
So when she want something, or realizes something … she do it by image and comparing images.
In this case I think she desire the confident of J.Lo. about her body. Not desire the body type but the confident of J.Lo. And why she do that. I think V.B. is careful with her’s images (her power) and it improves herself.

Now I’ve heard everything. It’s quite possible she found, maybe an, um, one-size fits most dress or something, lol, but it’s pretty obvious these two chicas are different enough in size for Vicki to know better than to make such a statement.
