Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Mega Gallery Plus Video

Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue is out and it is, as expected, loaded with gorgeous, tanned models wearing nothing but bikinis on dreamy beaches. Who’s part of this year’s bikini cast?
Anne V, Bar Refaeli, Christine Teigen, Cintia Dicker, Damaris Lewis, Daniella Saraiba, Dominique Piek, Esti Ginzburg, Genevieve Morton, Hilary Rhoda, Irina Sheik, Jessica Gomez, Jessica White, Julie Henderson, Julie Ordon, Sonia Dara, Zoe Duchesne and. of course, Brooklyn Decker on the cover – they all get one line of pictures and one video fragment… and I’m having a really hard time deciding who’s my favorite! I’m very pleased to see a diverse bunch, with girls of different body shapes and sizes, ethnicities and skin tones!

I don’t know the girls(except Bar), cause they’re not famous in my country, Greece. I love pic 41! Amazing facial beauty and amazing posture. Impressed! I also like the variety of body types and I personally prefer not the stick thin bodies here, but the curvier ones( I don’t mean fat or anything, just with lovely curves-according to mine opinion.)

Most ordinary people aren’t going to know who any of these girls are. Models aren’t exactly celebrities in the true sense of the word. Most of them can be seen for about 2 to 5 years and then just drop off the face of the planet. People who follow modeling can tell you who these girls are but most people on the street really don’t care. It’s not a country thing cause trust me most people in the U.S. would not be able to identify 80% of these women.
Yeah ann, I agree with yor point. I mentioned it not as a negative comment or something, but because I was trying to say that this is the first time I ever see them, so I’m forming a spontaneous opinion from what I see here.
Oh i know you meant nothing negative by it. I just wanted to say that. Don’t feel in the least bit weird that you don’t know these women cause they really aren’t that important. Now if I showed you Greek politicians and you couldn’t figure out who they were i might get worried.

I agree with you girls, the only models I know out of them is Irina Sheik and Bar lol. Oh man Irina in 41, 42 and 43 is jaw dropping.

i am very impressed with the variety of bodies in this issue, not everyone is stick thin which is nice. I still think Bar has the best body of the bunch though, she has the best proportions and smoothest curves.
I love Cintia, Irina, Hilary, Esti, and Sonia.
They are all so beautiful.

like this issue and very surprised to see such a variety of faces and body shapes. And its really nice to see that most of models have real hips, so feminine. And there were 2 or 3 girls without tan that is refreshing to see esp in swimsuit edition.
Great to see some variety in body shape and ethnicity. Not just white women, but also black, Eurasian (pity there aren’t any 100% East Asians) and South Asian. I think Sonia Dara is the first South Asian model to be in Sports Illustrated!
No she isn’t if memory serves me right a couple of South East Asians have been in the issues you just have to keep you eye out.
i love cintia dicker but her pics with the wine bottle and glass looks like she’s about to get drunk. lol. and jessica gomes! she looked like she’s a tad bit thicker than the previous issues but she’s still a major major hottie. really like her.
overall, i think this year’s issue has more variety in shape as everyone else had said. some of this girls are very slender while others are very curvy or a bit more thicker than your ordinary models. but in a good way. something i suppose most guys would like. but as a girl, i think they all look gorgeous too.

Very nice…a lot of these women have what I consider to be really beautiful bodies. I’m even more surprised that they chose Brooklyn Decker for the cover. Could it be that she’s Andy Roddick’s wife?!
I agree, I totally love the diverse faces,,bodies, and ethnicities. I just hope the guys do too..

irina sheik is gorgeous as always!she’s been my “body ideal” since i saw her 3 years ago on the intimissimi ads..but i was shocked to hear her voice!i was sure it was maybe the male photographer..and then the camera zoomed on her!LOL
btw hillary ronda is amazing too
and like everyone else already said..they did a great job portraying different body shapes/faces/ethicities..i’ve never seen such variety before!!
VS should take note: THIS is what curvy is. And variety in general.

I’d like to see these women ALONGSIDE the current VS models. After all, why can’t both be considered sexy? There’s no rule against it.
i agree…Casey i agree too, as long as they are meant to be as thin as they are and are not marketed as ‘curvy’ then I agree. Only thing that annoys me with VS is people say they are curvy when they are not…except for when they are airbrushed and padded right up
Well that depends on the definition of curvy I guess, since there is no set definition. To me curvy is bone structure (hourglass figure), to others its T&A. I’d say someone like Candice Swanepoel is as curvy as Kim Kardashian, others would disagree. But there are some VS models that I don’t think are curvy in either sense. However, I still think that they should be walking the runway because girls with those body types have a right to see someone who looks like them being considered sexy.
Definitely disagree that Candice Swanepool is AS curvy AS Kim K. You can opine that she is curvy, as you said it isn’t a set thing and everyone has their own idea of what constitutes curvy, but I dont’ see how Candice can be equal to Kim K. for curviness, considering you can take something objective like their measurments(hip/waist ratio, underbust/bust/cup size) and see that Kim K.’s are probably a bigger ratio than Candice’s. Hope that makes sense
You’d be surprised. In magazine spreads they typically make either her hips smaller, or her waist bigger to give her a more normal look, but in candids, Candice has a freakish WHR. It’s definetly smaller than even Marilyn Monroe’s.

That is a freakish seeming WHR, but it still doesn’t equal Kim K.’s, IMO
I can why she can be called “curvy”, but I don’t think she is on par with ladies like Kim K. I know, I’m just being nit-picky, but I haven’t really been able to post on here for a bit, just want to get my opinion out there before my comp acts up again

Only a few are pretty in the face but their bodies are great and healthy
i cant believe how short that Esti girl is…or how short she looks anyway…her legs arent tiny skinny either! yay! i like these girls better than VS…they are more closer to curvy (tho still skinny)

To be honest i dont really see a variety in ethnicity’s, i more so see a variety in tan “tones” and hair color lol! But maybe i didnt look at all of the pictures.
Sonia Dara(Indian girl) is gorgeous, not rly a stereotypical “Pretty”! And i LOVE the variety in body shapes, this is what you call curvy & healthy! Vicy Secrets need more models like this! Also Cintia Dicker is very beautiful!
And is it me or do A LOT of these models have very short torsos??
It is certainly true that the vast majority are white, but typically all models are white with one token black/East Asian/South Asian girl tossed in. (I’m referring to all media in which models would appear, not just Sports Illustrated.) I am pleasantly surprised that there is more than one AND that they are from different backgrounds. i.e. Not just a few black women, for example, but women of multiple ethnicities.
It’s probably obvious to most that Damaris Lewis and Jessica White are black, and that Sonia Dara is South Asian. Though it might not be obvious to everyone that Christine Teigen and Jessica Gomes are half East Asian, half white. I only see it because I am one, but we often get mistaken for Mexicans. Christine is Thai/Norwegian, Jessica is Singaporean/Portuguese.
WoW I think this is the best issue yet! And it’s probably because besides going to the Maldives they didn’t traditionally go to “pretty” places they were very in touch with nature which is great and also can seed out the bad models because they have to bring it as far as poses go. My top picks Bar Rafaeli,Julie Ordon,Daniella Sarahyba, Irina Shayk (OMG),Cintia Dicker and Julie Henderson and Anne V. Esti and Brooklyn were not on point this year. Also I think Genevieve and Sonia as their careers blossom will get better!!! Besides that the rest of the girls were blew!Especially Jessica White who pretty much needs to hang it up because her career is OVER!!!! THAT WEAVE LOOKS A HOT MESS!!!

Irina, Jessica White, and Bar look amazing. They just stand out and look like supermodels to me rather than just random girls in bikinis.
Hilary Rhoda really surprised me, I think she should have been on the cover. But I really want to take a tweezer and pluck her eyebrows.
I like that they definetly tried to have variety. In some ways they are still similar (kind of hourglassy shape), but in other ways, they are completely different too (skin color, hair, size, breast size, facial characteristics).

I like the variety of bodies here. There are many not so skinny girls which may not be stars on the catwalk but rock their bikinis.
Bar R., Jessica Gomes, Damaris Lewis, and Genevieve Morton look the best to me. All the ladies look good
I would like to see a couple of ladies with fuller bodies(I don’t mean just bigger boobs and butts, I mean fuller arms, and legs too, more rounded hips, a softer body with a little less muscle tone) doing some swimsuit spreads though.
In all honesty I think Daniella Sarahyba is the biggest they’ll ever hire and she’s not even extremely curvy like say Kim Kardashian. I get what your trying to say but even the girls they hire for SI issue are so far and plenty because they are not that stereotypical thin models that it would be very hard just go look at 2 or 3 model managements websites and you can probably count on both hands the girls who’s dress size is bigger than a size 4. IMO this is the best issue yet. As far as bodies go there is really no girl who I wouldn’t want to trade bodies with because I feel like they are curvy in their own right.
I’ve always loved Bar, but I’ve also been a really big fan of Hilary Rhoda for the past couple of years

I think she is a column shape, with a proportionate figure, long limbs, not top-heavy, nor bottom-heavy.
