I’m sorry, but I don’t think she looks good. She’s too thin, doesn’t have any curves, like a really tall 12-year old. And her arm and elbow in the first picture- scary! Gaining weight would be smart- or dressing better, I don’t know.

She already has really long slender legs so those insanely high shoes actually make her legs a bit shapeless and too skinny; otherwise, looking good and awesome outfit.

you dont have to have huge boobs or hips to model lingerie. they have models with different proportions so on average girls can relate. with the except of plus size girls.
Sorry but I disagree yes some girls are thinner than other but she’s too thin then again this is my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own. And I never said lingerie models have to have huge boobs you can have b cups boobs like Irina Shayk and still look faboulous you can have practically no hips like Giselle. At the end of the day skinny girls who have no curves like her should just stick to high fashion! I’m not hating on them because I have love for alot of body types but when I see girls like this model for VS I get mad because it’s not fair that high fashion models who look like coat hangers are now ideal models for lingerie companies. Sorry on to the next one!
Natasha O- you are right she is no more healthy looking! she is the smallest of the vs models, or at least one of the smallest, but has a rounded face so people dont think she is scrawny. Sure some ppl are naturally skinny and models should be different shapes and sizes imo. BUT what gets me, is this is deemed ‘perfect’ aaand…curvy?! no no no! i mean, i get that you can be thin and curvy with your waist to hip ratio and thighs, bum, boobs and hips but Miranda has NONE of these! The only time when she does have them is in photoshoots! Someone has a slight curve in the waist and they are now seen as ‘curvy and hourglass’ whereas people like beyonce, kim k, halle berry are all seen as ‘bigger’ wtf is this world cominh to

She looks beautiful, and those legs are so sweet! I have never been too fond of Miranda’s face, she is pretty of course, but nothing to write home about. She has a smokin’ bod though!!
Wow. She really is gorgeous. She may be thin but judging from pictures of her when she was a teenager, it’s natural. She appears healthy to me, and she has said in interviews that she leads a very healthy lifestyle.
I think we need to be consider the fact that women come in different shapes and sizes, and by calling someone a ‘prebuscent’ boy is in fact very hurtful.
Just because someone doesn’t have an hour glass shape or the typical pear shape does not mean they are any less of a woman than someone who does possess one. I think we should be celebrating the fact women differ and are born different.
One thing we have to remember is the reason the fashion industry also like to use women with uncommon/ intriguing body shapes is because not only does that body type look good in any type of clothing, but as it is out of the norm it catches the eye….if the fashion world didn’t celebrate ‘uniqueness’ then noone else would, because lets face it apparently very slim women with small hips and small boobs are not women.
Oh and the reason i’m trying to defend slim women is because actually i am a 6’0 girl who happens to have the exact same body shape….these comments would hurt any very slim woman too imo…lets try to be a little less harsh.
Don’t worry, whatever people say, Miranda looks hot. I don’t think she is perfect, but she is far from looking bad.

I totally agree with mimi, everyone is a different shape. I think she looks lovely, she always has a smile on her face and has great legs! Not too sure about the dress though.
Well if you have a similar body type to her you should feel very lucky. When people comment you just have to remember people have different preferences skinny, curvy ct. I love skinny fit bodies that resemble those from the VS models. Also I know plenty of very thin girls with no hips and very small T & A and they get lots of guys whistling their way. It’s just a preference you see and if you are healthy and love yourself it will shine through and that can make anyone attractive. Anyway I hope I made you feel better.

I too am the same as Miranda, 5’8″ and skinnnny. I am naturally this thin and to tell some people to gain 5-10 pounds isn’t always feasible. I know I cant. I think however she can, because she never used to be this thin and her face shape better suits a slightly higher weight.
Sorry I don’t mean to be hurtful but the difference between some of you and Miranda is that you don’t model for VS and aren’t in the spotlight. Also trust me I’m way less harsh in real life. But in my opinion she doesn’t fit the brand like I’ve said before I have love for alot of body types and not every one looks like Tyra back in the day but come on. I’ve seen VS from the late 90′s till the early 2000′s change their image a bit as far as the models they are hiring and it’s taken a turn for the worst. Also I don’t really see what uniqueness is being celebrated in the fashion world nowadays with minority models struggling to get jobs until recently like Liu Wen,Chanel Iman, Jourdan Dunn and the list goes on and it’s still not enough. What’s unique and uncommon about a fashion show that probably only has four or five size 4 models and on top of that they are being called fat (i.e. Lara Stone). I’m, not saying she has an eating disorder and I’m also not saying that I don’t appreciate smaller tiny body types because I do. I love Erin Wasson,Kate Moss,Erin Heatherson,Freja Baja, Gemma Ward I just don’t think she fits the VS look anymore. I’ve always said on this site she looked her best in the 2006 show and it all went downhill especially when she did that Gievenchy or whatever High fashion show she did recently! It’s almost like her skinniness is kind of feigned because she naturally not this thin!
i agree with what you say. only thing that gets to me is that she is deemed as’curvy’ when she is not. as i said in my comment above i know women can be thin and curvy and have a curvy WHR and boobs and bum and hips but Miranda doesnt. which is fine. but i wish people would stop telling us she is curvy! i agree ppl shouldnt be too harsh with skinny but on average…especially on here…people are much more kind to tall skinny figures than they are curvy. Just look at any kim k or beyonce post. now those girls are no where near fat or big but they are ridiculed a lot

actually no i’m not, if you re-read what i put i’m actually saying the hour glass figure and pear shape is celebrated, without actually saying that…it’s in my first sentence….i’m not referring to celebrities all the way through the post because lets face it, we’re considered ‘real’ people so i was kinda taking miranda kerr’s body as inspiration to talk about it applied to everyday life.
What i was trying to say is that pear and hour glass shapes, which are common shapes are ok because they’re common and womanly, yet an uncommon ‘thin/slender’ shape is not ….. i don’t think i’ve bashed anyone…
Hourglass can be thin!!! That’s my point; I am an hourglass and i fing weigh 102 lbs. So stop saying hourglass and thin are different stuff. Hourglass is shape thin is size. You actually just proved me right instead of arguing your point.
Btw, less than 10% of women are hourglasses. That is NOT common.
i was referring to her being called ‘thin/slender’ as i didnt really want to say she lacks curves, as she does have a butt, yes hourglass is shape but as i dont really know what to classify kerr as i just said thin…pear shape is the most common body shape..

I’m one of the ones who don’t find her attractive at all, sorry…when she weighed a little more she looked better, but that elbow/arm thing going on in the 1st pic just looks SICK. And not in a good way.
Meh. She looks fine and looks healthy to me. I’m skinny, so when people immediately say to someone, “You’re so thin! You MUST have an eating disorder,” I just look at myself, remember I actually DO eat, and say, meh, it’s where your metab drops you and how healthy you keep yourself. Plain and simple. I had my days of feeling self-conscious for being too skinny, but Lord, you just have to find a comfortable place and say you love yourself. Certainly her body isn’t the “ideal” for everyone. My ideal body is any body that’s on a God’s food friendly diet and works out. ^_^

in NY, girls like her a dime/dozen. Her legs look normal, healthy, long, thin. Her arms are just really untoned. Overall….. she is waaay too thin. She is looking boxy. Maybe its the dress.
