I think her bod looks awesome! Considering her hips are quite narrow, I’d say she was a little on the broad side but she probably works out a lot. Anyone know how tall she is? She looks like she is quite short with a very long torso and I imagine her legs to be super short.
She’s 5ft5 so average height.
bodywise, she looks good (although not breathtaking), facewise not so much….. looks older than 33.
shes super fit and looks awesome, but she is a “ruler” shape, no visible hips. seeing as the pear shape is the most common body type, most of us will NEVER have hips that look like that (you decide whether thats a good thing or bad thing lol).
p.s. versus and commenters, sorry this is a diversion from the original post, but do you find difficulty distinguishing between body shapes? i especially find it hard to see the difference between “hourglass” and “pear”; i feel like i describe myself as either, given the definitions i have seen on both. anyway, just thought i would bring up the topic!
re p.s. I don’t think there’s much deifference between pear shapes and hourglass in the waist/hip department, I think the only difference lies in the bust area, pear shapes tend to have a smaller bust (in relation to their hips) whereas hourglass have fuller bust. That’s how I’ve always interpreted it……. I’ll just sit here now and wait for everyone to shoot me down with their corrections!!
Yeah basically pears and hourglass shapes have similar waist/hip ratios but pears are narrower on the chest and shoulders. Sometimes if a pear is big busted it’s hard to distinguish the difference, but you can always tell by the bone structure.
yes this is where i was having the problem! my shoulders don’t slope downward like the “pear” shape, im not as curvacious as they define “hourglass” figures, but im going to attribute that to my working out a lot

Actually the most common shape is the ruler. The problem is that the average women is much heavier than she is.
I think the most common body type used to be pear back in the 1960′s. Average woman had measurements 35-27-38. These days a lot of women are apple shaped with average measurements 39-33-41.
I agree with everybody saying that hourglasses and pears have similar waist-hip ratios. But there’s also the bust-hip ratio and bone structure which differentiate the two.
Usually, pears and hourglasses have waists that measure 70% of the hip circumference (or less, 65, 68%). Basically, a woman with a waist circumference that represents 70% of the hip circumference and 70% of the bust circumference will most likely be an hourglass. Let’s talk in cm cause it’s easier: measurements 100-70-100 cm. A woman with the measurements 100-65-100 (+ or – 1,2 cm) will also be an hourglass, an even curvier one (most likely). Usually, women who are pears have waists that measure 75%-80% of the bust circumference – measurements like 88-70-100 (+ or – 1,2 cm) usually indicate pear shapes.
But of course, we can’t tell one’s body type solely based on their measurements, since the bone structure is very relevant as well. In most cases, hourglasses have slightly broader shoulders than pears – the shoulders should optically be the same size as the hips in order to be considered an hourglass (pears usually have a narrower upper body).
Moreover, there are some women who have 100 cm hips and a 70 cm waist, but they don’t look very curvy – some simply have the so called “bubble butts” and narrower hips, so they won’t look like pears or hourglasses from the front.

Maybe i will help you too. My measurements were 90 66 94 and i was kind of convinced i was an hourglass. I sure looked like one. But than i lost weight, 10 kg aprox, and now my measurements are 86-59-88; and even though my breasts are not small (c cup) i am definitely a pear shape. Because my upper body is much skinnier: i mean my collar bones and my ribs are quite visible, and from certain angles you can tell my chestbones as well; but my lower body is not so small, my legs are still not skinny, and never will be. And i stil have an ass. So not only the measurements tell you, but as versus noticed as well, it is the body shape too and most importantly, where exactly you carry your weight or where you lose weight first.

This woman has done the best she can with her body. I prefer more of a waist to hip ratio, but like I said she’s done the best she can.
