I don’t think she’s fat and while i think she’s got a great face and relationship with the camera that most models nowadays lack… they dressed her up in some very dark clothing against some dark backgrounds thus making her look a lot slimmer than what she really is. What’s the point in being a “plus” size model if the girls that read these magazine are still going to see very slim person?
Well maybe they weren’t trying to make some sort of statement about plus size women or send any kind of message to young girls. Maybe they just thought she was a beautiful woman and wanted her to model their clothes.

This girl is stunning. She doesn’t look fat to me, but then again, what the wonders of photoshop can do to you. I’ve heard she is comfortable with the weight that she’s at. Any girl who feels that way should be proud. I wonder what Renn is doing recently because lately she’s been in the spotlight a lot more.

Crystal only has one facial expression — the on-the-verge-of-orgasm one. Maybe that’s the fault of the photographers and art directors; maybe that’s not her fault. But perhaps she’s also limited by her figure and face (could she pull off ethereal and fragile, for example?). At any rate, I don’t like most of her pictures, and these are no different.

Crystal Renn is Crystal Renn. Who cares if she’s plus size or or 0 size or somewhere in between. She’s a healthy, beautiful woman with fantastic bone structure and great proportions. She’s the only good and/or interesting thing about this shoot. I for one hope to continue seeing more of her being a healthy, beautiful woman and hopefully in future the photographer does her justice.
