she has nice legs but i find her face to be nothing special really… never quite understood what made her such a ‘beauty’

I ve never gotten the big deal about her! IMO her face is really nothing special -wouldn’t call it ugly in real life but for a model it’s quite bad.
are you kidding me? for a models? have you seen some models faces? some of them are ugly! they just over photoshop them in ads so they look like completely different people.
I think you’re thinking about high fashion models whose faces are more striking/unusual than beautiful (Olga Scherrer) but sometimes are photoshopped to a more “mainstream” look.
However Brooklyn is definitely not a high fashion model but a mainstream model -she’s famous for being in Sports Illustrated. And SI models ARE pretty: Laetitia Casta, Ana Beatriz Barros, May Andersen, Elsa Benitez, Josie Maran, Petra Nemcova, Bar Refaeli etc
And anyway I think that saying that models have particularly unattractive faces is a strange statement to make
yeah but if olga sherer was tan and blonde she’d look commercial, i wouldn’t say she has high fashion striking features, someone like karlie kloss does
lots of high fashion models look commercial or are at least “pretty” (frida gustavsson, monika jagaciak, sigrid agren, karmen pedaru, edita vilkeviciute etc), there are some weird looking ones out there but most of them would probably be normal pretty without all the weird make up, lighting, editing.
but more on topic, brooklyn decker is naturally pretty (not stunningly drop dead gorgeous) i mean she doesnt seem to be wearing any make up here and she’s better looking than probably a majority of every day people, but yeah, even for a commercial model she is a bit average. she has an amazing body though so that could be why she is so successful (even before andy)
very cute couple!! I think she’s the average blond girl in America, never fully understood the big deal about her. I’m Brazilian and yet I finde her quite average (even though we don’t get to see so many blonds as in u.s). Her hubby is super cute, and I have a thing for tennis players! =D

When people say she is “average” what exactly do they mean? Do they mean she is average as in she’s what the majority look like? Because she definately is not, she’s taller, thinner, body in better shape, and cuter face (no make up in these pics) than the majority of people.
Or is is that when people call her average they mean she is average compared to a model?? I mean I can understand that it would not be shocking to see someone looking exactly like her walking down the street, but if I did see her on the street, I would definately not think of her as average I’d think of her as a hot girl.
yeah, i think about that too when i read comments here. i tell myself that they are referring to average in terms of celebrity, not the entirety of america. if they are referring to the latter, then i’m just flabbergasted!
i know….people on here must have some seriously high standards if this is average…i wonder what is good looking to them…probably nobody makes the cut
i agree her body is by no means average, but as for her face, I’m not going to runit down but i think you are running down the average person. I see gorgeous people all around. If she were among my friends I would not say that facially she would stand out. Thats not to run her down, just to defend the average person. there are some people (and i guess that is open to personal opinion as to who)that are just stunning- but to be honest most celebrities are just like you and I only with better make up artists, more money for cosmetic enhancement and higher motivation for maintaining a good figure.

And Andy…mmm mmm mmm. I’ve been crushing on him since we were playing the juniors circuit. He’s definitely gotten better looking with time. I’m glad he ended up with someone like Brooklyn.

dont really love her face (that sounds harsh!) but i have to say she looks better facially in candids than she does in shoots imo
