although i wouldn’t put her anywhere near the plus size model category she has definitely gained – so not your perception…and it’s not just the pictures here where it is noticeable.
I can’t say if she has gained or not, but I think the baggy top that hangs off her boobs is hiding her small waist and making her look as if she is bigger.

oh, same here.. she is a ‘bigger’ model, and plus size models like Cyrstal getting smaller does not help either. still Bar is not fat, chubby or anything like that, but she is pretty normal/ordinary looking, like every other ‘hot’ girl on the street..
this just makes you realize how photoshopped even the “sexiest” women are. she’s by no means fat but her model pics make her look waaayy thinner

Looks sexy and healthy, though I did expect her legs to be a bit more toned that this – not that I think there is anything wrong with them, they are lovely, its just we’re used to seeing VS models with super toned bods.
she is gorgeous, of course, but as a model I’d expect more. She makes tons of money with her body, and she is looking average here! Not skinny, but I truly believe her shirt is creating an ilusion also.

her legs have always looked like this. i dont think id call her a supermodel. they do it ALL. gisele is a supermodel. no wonder her stomach is so great, she has a long waist. girls with long waists always have perfect stomachs and not so perfect lower bodies. her legs could use some toning.

Honestly, whoever doesn’t think she looks great to be a supermodel is delusional. She has a very cute face, great hair and a smoking body. She’s slim but curvy in the right places. That’s why she’s a sports illustrated model, not runway. She’s totally guy hot.

She is GORGEOUS. Her body in a bikini is pure perfection. I don´t give a damn if her legs are little shorter than most models have, Alessandra´s legs are short for her height too.
I really like her and I think she’s going to be my fitness inspiration! Seems attainable but still something worth striving for. I can’t help but think how silly Photoshop can be after seeing these pictures though. She actually looks, well, human here not some fantasy doll version of a woman!
I noticed her legs aren’t very long either. I think the shorts are kind of unflattering, something about about the way they are cut makes her legs look stout. Or maybe it’s the shoes? Still a beauty though.

I just don’t get Bar’s facial appeal – maybe I’m used to more of the sharper, more defined, high fashion look. I always notice a person’s legs first (well after their face of course), and hers don’t look that great. I’m not saying that they are bad, but they don’t match my mental image of “modelesque.”

If she is 5’8″ she cannot weight less than 130 lbs. She is slim, but not skinny, and a bit muscular too. She is definitely not underweight.

I think she looks great and that she is a healthy role model for girls look up to compared to Victoria Secrets models. She’s looks more womanly too. I’ve seen photographs of VS models without makeup and to be honest while pretty they aren’t anything special. They are just human. However Bar looks great even when dressed casually. My male friends would agree sports illustrated models are more attractive than runway models.Go Bar!
